For someone wanting an Electric 12 string who have trouble playing the Rickenbacker with the narrow necks, In my oppinion this would be a great guitar for them. Has a great sound, stays in tune, and it plays great. I love the neck!!!!
Jon, Yes I have. Probably just leave it stock like this. Its a great Guitar, sounds so different than a Ric. I live the neck on it. It is really player friendly!!!!
DUDE! You're in tune! Seriously, great video. So many 12 string videos "showing people how it's done" are so out of tune. Your video is a breath of fresh air. Great tone, and playing.
I have this guitar and had it strung Ric-style. The only change required was a new nut. I agree with Gary's comment on the neck. It is a great inexpensive alternative. Pyramid flatwounds, a janglebox and you are sonically very similar to a Ric.
Sounds beautiful and your picking is excellent. I can barely play with a pick, much less my fingers. I have a 1960s Gretsch 6120 and the neck on it is wonderful.
Do you have any issues with intonation, given the 6-saddle neck? I'm considering this guitar, but can't offhand seem to find a 12-saddle neck in gold that would work as a replacement. Also thinking about having a new nut cut so it can be strung Ric style. Any thoughts? Your playing is masterful - how many years have you spent getting your fingerpicking to the point where it is today?
Nice, but I still think the low-high stringing on Rics is important in getting that 12-string sound. Have you thought have modifying your Gretsch to be strung that way?

Some of the most beautiful playing I have ever heard. You are an actual master.
Michel, It has its own sound. I love my Rics tho.
