Idk how I stumbled across your video... but I did and I must say that you have such a fun and vibrant personality! I recently failed out of Nursing school and It caused me to lose my drive. This video has helped me gain my inspiration back. Thank you 💕
I graduated in 2022 and took NCLEX 2022 passed first time. I'm also in Southern California. I'm STILL adjusting to civilian life after my program 😅 Unless you've been through it, you just can't understand. So glad you made it, nurse ❤
thank you so much for this video, im currently going through my own struggles as well and considering going to acc.. not sure what to do but this was helpful
Loved the video! I'm currently 18 years old and in my 2nd year at a cc. I'm working on my last three pre-reqs for nursing and I'm interested in ACC's adn program. How does the application process work? Do you plan on making a video on that?
@XOXO, Dami Hi! Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I want to go the LVN route too and I'm looking at ACC Ontario. I'm getting a lot of feedback to not go to for-profit private schools but Community Colleges waitlist just takes forever and I feel like private colleges would be worth it in the long run. How was it finding LVN jobs for your after you graduated or after getting your license?
That’s why I did the trade school route as well because I wanted the career sooner.. I had absolutely no problem getting a job. I graduated 11/30, passed my exam 12/19 & by the first week of January I was working 😌 I also started off as a peds travel nurse and they tell you you can’t do that until 1 year of experience... don’t believe the hype, learning how to sell yourself well and knowing your stuff is all that really matters. Good luck to you!
Please don’t let ANYONE discourage you from this route you’d like to take. Community colleges are highly impacted for any nursing majors. Finished my Respiratory therapy degree at acc all debt paid off in 2 years! It’s doable.
Thanks for the video I am considering going for the LVN program there , but also plan to take my prereqs at cc for an RN program so I can work while going to school. How much did u end up paying how does the loans work ? When do you have to make your payments ...
Patricia Fernandez hello! I am doing that exact thing right now, I ended up walking away with 15k in debt and I pay my loans once a month, I am on a plan so that they will be paid off in 5 years which is roughly 170$
I went to American Career College in Ontario California back in 2012 or 2011 and they accepted me and I was a felon the first semester they checked my background and kicked me out and now I have a student loan that I owe on which is not fair
@@KarenPerez-lu4lm no they didn't ask me and they didn't say and then after when they kicked me out they said because I wouldn't be able to intern anywhere because they would not accept me for that they should have checked my record before when I was registering
Hey love I’m really interested in attending Acc, can you please explain how to pay for it ? Is there a certain amount to pay before starting the program ? Or loan wise I doubt I qualify for financial aid .. thank you
So you do have to show financial capability to cover the entire cost before starting. They do offer government loans through parents or yourself, & personal or private loans are accepted as well, you can also apply for FAFSA. If there is a remaining balance then you can pay a monthly tuition throughout school. Although I wouldn’t suggest doing that, it’s one thing to stress about getting through nursing school let alone every month about how you’re going to pay for it. I hope that helped love ❤️
I love this video. You are amazing. Thank you for your story. I’m applying to go to ACC in Ontario. And your video got me excited!!! I’m a mom of 2 and a wife. I’ve worked at Kaiser as an MA and I want to eventually be an RN. Any advice? Or recommendations?
Hey! I start this program in Feb 2021 at ACC in Ontario. Im so excited but nervous. Any tips? Im a mom and a wife. My husband is also going to the same program and same school.
Hello the best thing I can say is getting a schedule together that works for you both, it is going to be demanding so I would suggest organizing your time. Literally having to plan when you cook, when you have free time & if possible working a job that allows free time so you can study at work. The great thing is you have a in home study buddy! Good luck to you guys ❤️
I would say the amount of time you have to put in. To have a full time job and if you have a family to raise it would be the time you have to put in that makes it most demanding, but it is doable! So sorry for such a late response
Why did you quit? I was planning on signing up for there part time program, as I am trying to transition into this field from another. What's up with the LA location?

Not sure what you’ve decided but I would try and just stick to community college or another private non-profit college for nursing.
Nice video! I start in February 23’ in Ontario and I’m nervous but this video has eased my nerves!
Was Ontario the only location that offered ADN
I’m not sure if it’s the only one but I know it’s the newest program there at Ontario
