The Disco Duck Arc truly peaked when he bittersweetly accepted his friend metallic duck's sacrifice to save the children from the flamingo floatie. Truly one of the moments of all time.
It's 2022, and our current universe is the one where there is such a thing as disco duck stans.
Very dramatic and touching arc with an incredible story line. 10/10 would look at Disco Duck again

I enjoyed how at the start RT doesn't really "get it", but by the midpoint of the video the Duck Madness has begun to set in and multiple storylines are going strong
The best part is that the exact same thing happens to the entire chat
Honestly, kinda amazed at how subtley genius this game is.
Give anyone long enough with a bunch of cute objects randomly bouncing off of each other and the human mind will inevitably create a narrative for it.
I don't think you could've planned Metallic Duck's Sacrifice any better than how it actually happened.

It’s like a battle simulator game. You have no real control over anything but it’s the imagination that makes it fun
Just as a pen can turn into a space ship, a pool of rubber ducks can turn into a dramatic battle for life and death

During senior year I hid 150 ducks around my school. They developed a small cult following and you could hear random squeaking in the halls. My magnum opus was putting a duck on the podium during the graduation ceremony

I love how over the course of the stream The Flamingo Floatie has grown overtime as a Menace of The Pool. From trapping an innocent rubber ducky in it's hole, blocking entrances and exits to the big pool, spawn camping the rubber duckies so that more could be held hostage, and then finally the attempted kidnapping of Bonnie's kids which was heroically prevented by metallic duck and disco duck at the cost of metallic duck's sacrifice. Truly one of the moments of all time in rubber duck gaming

Disco Duck's tears as he sealed Metallic Duck's fate... but they both knew it had to be done. Metallic had already made their peace with it but it took Disco some time before he could accept it.

He's tough on the outside and the inside. If not him, one of the other ducks would have to suffer at the hands of the Flamingo.
He chose to be the one to weather through that pain so the young ducks could live their lives to the fullest

Part 2 when
Straight up gasped when metallic duck flew in to save the babies. The plot twists! The drama! I can’t get enough
Honestly, I’m on the edge of my seat. It felt like the video ended so quickly!
This quickly evolved into that experiment where people watch dots on a screen move around or sit with rocks and form stories around them. It's beautiful.

The raid siren whenever the ocean flock was passing was very funny. Also Metallic Duck + Disco Duck teaming up to save the ducklings was a beautiful moment that brought tears to my eyes. wonderful.

what an amazing game... propeller duck finally finding his true self and experiencing freedom, submarine duck returning to his family after so many harrowing voyages, metallic duck and disco duck putting their lives on the line to save the ducklings... a rollercoaster of emotions
The flying duck taking off into the ocean and finally living free, only to be sucked back in and need to escape again was super emotional. And metallic duck’s sacrifice at the end of season 2 was so noble. Really showed his character development. What a great video. 99999/10, still crying as I type.
As someone who has awful adhd, I am surprised at how much focus I put into this, and how I am tempted to write backstories for all the ducks

The part where Metallic duck came in the last second and sacrifice himself for the baby ducks are as emotional as it was in the manga. I cry for literally 5 hours now

10/10 The twist ending of Metallic Duck sacrificing themself to save the baby ducks was so unexpected yet so perfect for their character. I shed tears. My recommendation for Anime of the Year nominee.
Polka Duck helped the Flamingo only to get betrayed in turn, nearly costing his life...
Metallic Duck and Disco Duck witnessed this and saw the Flamingo attacking mere children... and decided to save them even if it means losing their lives....

Metallic Duck sacrificing himself for the ducklings was a real hero amongst duckkind. It was the saddest character Arc yet. I actually felt my heart break over him being stuck in the flamingo after disco duck rescued the ducklings and finished the job
Metallic Duck giving his all only to come just short, and having Disco Duck came in with the final push is just Tolkien LoTR writing all over again, it's magnificent

When we needed a sequel to the RTGame Crowd watching paint dry, Placid Plastic Duck Simulator delivered.
I started watching the video thinking it was going to have some twist like the Stanley Parable or Paint Drying Simulator, and then I didn't get.
After 15 minutes and one heroic sacrifice though, I get it
I love how RT is able to take a simple game about watching rubber ducks and turn it into this epic story about ducks living in terror under a flamingo overlord.

I mean, it helps that his chat is really active and making all the creative ideas. You couldn't stream this game if you had no audience.

All the three streamers that I watch and played this game made the same story, and I think the whole community just accepted the flamingo as the antagonist of the game
I never knew digital rubber duckies could bring so much pure joy. Metallic duck launching in at the end to save Bonnie's children with the help of Disco duck was truly touching. And propeller duck and submarine duck sailing off into the distance, seeking freedom but leaving behind their ducky brethren? Placid Plastic Duck Simulator is a work of art, sure to change the gaming experience of this generation as we know it.
This game is proof of joy in the simple things, we don't need huge action games all the time. Sometimes we just need tiny rubber ducks.

It's incredible how quirky yet simple games like this where you just sit and watch toy ducks in a pool consistently turn into some of the biggest bangers for content creation
Just purely one of the most entertaining UA-cam videos I have seen in a while. I don’t know why but it gives such a comfy feeling added with RT’s commentary just made for a great video I wish I could have been there live.

Shortly after the Battle of Pearl Harbor, several hundred ducks with grenades strapped to them were seen falling from the sky. On the receiving end were less then 20 unarmed ducks. This was known as the bombing of Duck Harbor, which caused the United Ducks of America to declare war on the Imperial ducks.
Idk why, but I think you could literally just play this again, and just chat and have guests on for a hour and call it the duckcast and I’d watch it.

My God the emotion, the intrigue, the horror, the beauty, the comedy, the character, unanimous game of the year
After seeing RT play this game I went and got it and found it rather entertaining and both calming and oddly dramatic. It's nice to have playing in the background while I work on something else. My propeller duck kept getting lost early on, a duck with a nightcap and a candle kept lighting some of the other ducks on fire to which a firefighter duck kept trying to put out but other ducks got in the way, my cow duck got randomly abducted by aliens which dropped an alien duck in it's place, got a duck with a rocket on its back which the candle duck lit up which then shot it beyond the horizon, a plain white duck turned out to be a ghost duck as it glows at night, one of the ducks I was surprised to find is a morphling morphing into the other ducks whenever it touches them and my ducks frequently kept heading to the small pool to escape the slowly approaching flamingo that wanted to prey on them. For such a simple game it is surprisingly fun and entertaining. An interesting fact randomly on the radio they mention a real event the 20,000 rubber duck experiment. An accident in 1992 which led to around 20,000 rubber bath toys including a large percentage of ducks which fell into the ocean and later started washing up on shores all around the world helping the study of the worlds ocean currents.
I can't believe I watched a multiple hour lasting stream of duckies floating and now I'm here watching the compilation of said stream. What a world we live in
Okay, the tension I felt when the baby ducks got clear of the flamingo, that was way too real for what amounts to a screen saver with rubber ducks.
I cannot believe human-kind has evolved to such greatness as to create this masterpiece. I await the duck filled utopia ahead.

Disco Duck was easily my favourite character. He was always there ya know? He was always there for the team and was always a shining light when times were dark.
His joint rescue with Metallic Duck was heartbreaking, because Disco Duck will undoubtedly feel horrible guilt for not being able to save the kids himself, and the fact he had to finish the job and leave his friend will probably haunt him throughout the next season.
Disco duck was always my favorite, but metallic duck sacrificing himself will never be forgotten.
