There's just something about the run animation in this game that absolutely kills me.
Something about how light and chest-first it is, along with what I can only describe as a duck-feet slappy sound effect.
Rewatching this video, as soon as he said Fortnite I couldn't stop staring at the run animation. It's very floaty
For me it's the arched back and booty shorts. And it's kinda like that exercise they had you do in school where you're supposed to kick your feet up to your butt. It's really just a marvel of a run cycle
people who didn't catch the stream do not understand how insanely long he spent gardening .

I mean does it really take a game tester to ask the question; "What happens if a player just fills the map with crops?"
I feel like that's something as a developer you should of just tested yourself. Bonus you setup some debug commands to do the planting work for you so you can just do the performance test(s) and figure out what needs to be optimized or limited.
@@PopeMical devs can't think of every situation that a chaotic player might do, otherwise bugs wouldn't exist and skyrim would be a horrible game.

Literally the only person I would be surprised of if they admitted a drug problem is Robert Downy Junior, and that's literally only because he already had one before, went to rehab and seems to have cleaned himself up pretty well.

Kingdom Hearts isn't really much of a crossover anymore. At least not a special one, since Disney regularly has its own characters cross over with each other all the time.

Having never seen Breaking Bad, the impression I get of the show from RT is that it is about a balding middle-aged man with an alliterative name who is obsessed with growing plants to make drugs with his teenage partner who contributes nothing other than being someone that Walter can complain to.
Not too far off from the original show tbh

Fun Fact: there was a streamer that did a re-run of one of his past streams. Fans either remembered or researched talking points and chat comments from the origional stream so that a normal person coming in wouldn't know the difference.

Unless you are super lucky, or a girl ready to undress on twitch, then you instantly get many viewers. But other than that, you don’t really need patience unless that is also part of what you do as content.

I love how when the carrots are grown the framerate just starts being calculated by a toddler with an abacus. Developers clearly need to start hiring this man to Beta test their games cuz he just pushes them to the limits.
I love it when developers release a game that works great under 'normal' gameplay. And the someone comes along and does this and DESTROYS the game. Causing the developers to have a breakdown and cry. Nothing brings me joy like watching a programmer's hard work amount to 'just not enough'.

The discussion of voice actors reminds me, I work at a senior care facility and I take care of the filing. When a resident is discharged or expired I remove their file to be sent storage. The idea that there be a file with notes that some doctor took about you sitting in storage long after you've perished is a strange thought.

The voice actor thing is an interesting thought, but great news, Charles Martinet (Mario) and Bill Farmer (all instances of Goofy since the 80s) are both alive and well.
Though, Pinto Colvig (original goofy) on the other hand, passed away in 1967.

Tips for most profitable harvests as you progress: Carrots>Tomatoes>Canola>Pumpkins. Also Remy is a good farming buddy because he's small and you can't click on him as easy when you get a gold plant. The others get in the way and it's so annoying. Looking forward to your series on this game, I've been really enjoying it so far 😁🖤

Don't count Okra out of the profit ladder. You get 3 product per plant per harvest, even more if you bring along a Jesse, er, I mean a harvesting buddy, and if you grow them in the biome you got the seeds from, they grow faster (though technically all seeds do) so there's even a time-economy effect.
As a veteran harvest moon/stardew valley player my immediate first thought was to abuse the farming mechanic. I thought I was breaking the game with 100 crops and moving all the fruit trees and bushes... but this is insane. I can't imagine how long this took
after the direct, RT has a lot of farming simulator games to ruin by cooking meth

Fun fact: the mario soundfiles are not recycled (or not all of then). The voice of mario that we know is Charles Martinet and he's still active today. Most recently he recorded the voice of Luigi for Luigi's Mansion 3!
