Good load out man! It's amazing how much you can fit in these bags. Nice, original organization. I carry a bunch of the same gear, but could add some of your ideas and need to take out some of my redundancy. Ya got a new sub! Take care-

Really a good kit. About the only thing different I added to mine, is a 36 hour liquid candle. They're so small, 2.5" x 2.75", that it's crazy not to have one when you get over 36 hours of fire from one. Plus they do NOT leak a drop and I've been carrying them for 10 or 15 years. I carry a small 8 hour liquid candle and a mini Bic in a ziplock in a pocket in every coat I own. That 8 hour candle is the same size as a tea candle, but burns 4 times as long. Keep up the great work.

+Great lakes prepper You can find them in the garden section in walmart, and they're pretty cheap towards the end of the year when summer or fall is about over. I pick up 12 hour liquid candles for around $0.25 each and 36 hour candles for around $0.65 each I believe it was.
I like the ones by 100candles in the link below. Their oil is like vegetable oil and rated by DOT as non-hazardous.

I grew up in northern Wisconsin and I always carried a space blanket and a 8 or 12 hour liquid candle in my winter coats, especially my hunting coats. My logic was simple, if I got lost or had to spend the night out in the bush, I would light that candle, stick it between my legs and wrap up in the space blanket and lean against a tree until morning. It's not the best, but it would get me through a cold night if need be.
I mean I know if I got lost, I would not stop and build a shelter, or gather fire wood for the night, or anything like that that you should do in a survival situation. I would think that I will find my truck and get out and go home, even if it's late at night. Yes, I'm dumb I guess, but I know me, and by the time I accepted the fact that I'm not getting out that night, now what will I do in the dark?
That's why I carried the Bic, space blanket, and liquid candle, and have since the late 70's when I started hunting, and spending time outdoors on my own.

I’d recommend a couple cliff bars/protein bars you never might forget your lunch one day or whatever or just need an extra snack. Also maybe a bandana or two they take up badly any space and are cheap and very versatile. I’m just getting my maxpedition fat boy jumbo for edc, but I’m also going to try to multipurpose it and use it as my get home bag to because, I do a lot of off roading. I’m eventually building a bob to but for now I just want a practical every day use type “survival” kit

Have you done a video of your mini survival kit? I saw it in your 5lb challenge vid but I can't recall seeing it in another video. It's a great idea and I've been thinking about putting one together myself.

I agree with the TQ, but I suggest if you carry it, to have the proper training on applying it

Sitting cross-legged, in socks, on a blanket ... alluding to your veiled and secretive “business” and so-called “purposes” ... with a peculiar zeal for wire cutters and the language used to describe them
