You will need to apply in the Korean embassy in Mexico or as a Mexican citizen via embassy track (if you have that nationality as well). If not mybe you can use the USA quota but your parents need to have that nationality for it to work that way

If you apply via university you can't apply to universities in Seoul, but not all countries are allowed to apply via embassy. In the description of the video you have the documents for last year's period to check if your county is on the list, or if you want fo check on this year's documents you can get them from the www.studyinkorea.com website. There you can find the information about the availabel majors per university as well

Hi Justin! To get the plan or not depends on what you want to use it for. As I mentioned if you just want it for internet I don't think is neccesary. As for the sim card you can get it once you receive the Alien registration card.

Glad to hear you find the videos helpful ☺️ now, to answer your questions. Idk if it is the same for the grad program but yes, we can work part time but only during the vacation period. And due to the type of visa you'll have the time you spend here as a student doesn't count for residency and you have to go back to your country once you finish. The only way for you to stay here would be to get a job which will sponsors you, meaning they will state they need you here and take responsability for allowing you to get a job visa, but idk even if after that it will be possible to get residency. From what I've heard it is pretty hard, even for the people that marry a Korean, so I'd recommend you look more into ot on the government official wesites or ask on the korean embassy back home.

I don't know for sure because the year I applied that guideline didn't existed but I think you should select one of each group they say, if not maybe you can try university track?
You need to have a grade average above 80% so if you have a year lower than that but it gets compensated with the other results and you have more than 80% on the total it's ok
Either way should be accepted but I think it would be better to use a bigger envelop. I'd recommend you get A4 which is the size you have to use for the paper.

It depends on the university if they ask for it or not. You don't need to attach it to your general application but once you get to the university acceptance round some may ask for addition information and that may include your portfolio. In my case only one if the 3 universities asked for it which was Ewha, the one I chose.

Unfortunately no, the 80% is a mandatory requirement. At least as of right now, if they change some of the regulations in the future may be possible 🤷🏻♀️ but I doubt they would ask for less if they do 😕
Application period for undergraduate opens on September and you need to have finished highschool by them or be about to do so before February of the following year.
In our case (since we have a special coordinator for GKS) we get deducted the amount monthly from our stipend but in other universities like BUFS students had to pay the entire semester upfront
You can but living elsewhere may be a bit to expensive and uncomfortable given you have to pack everything so most GKS scholars stay in dorms during vacation.

In my case I received the plane ticket via e-mail and I was picked up at the airport but I've heard from other students that they landed on Incheon international airport and from there had to go by themselves to their universities (which one was in Busan) so...how it is for you depends on how your KLI handles it

As I have already said on the first comment you cannot apply now unfortunately because you are not elegible for the undergrafuate program. You can apply next year on February for the graduate program

They provide in campus accomodation but you have to pay for it with the stipen they guive you. I talk about that on the video when I show my monthly expenses

It wouldn't but if you fail many classes it's probable that instead of completing your career in 4 years you take longer. Since the NIIED will only support you for those 4 years if you stay longer you will have to pay for everything during the extra time
I think it is only possible due to an emergercy or special situation. In the undergraduate program we all start on March either language course or university. The only way to start in the second semester will be to start language training and getting TOPIK level 5 in the first exam. You can check my video about TOPIK for more info about that
It's a lot of paperwork but first thing you need to know is that you much have your ARC (foreigner identification card) in order to open the account. In our case the people from the university did all for us so I'm not informed enough to give you a step by step guide so I'd recommend you search on one of the expats blogs online. A lot of useful information there
I tried it and it worked for me...maybe if you are on mobile there may be a compatibility or space issue with your phone? Try on your computer and it should work. If not you can go on the studyinkorea website and find the newer version there 😉

You can apply but only for the graduate program since you already have a bachelors, so you would be able to only do your masters here
