Hi everyone, thank you for reading these words ^^ I'm Linh, Korean name is Sulin and I am a KGSP scholar in Seoul National University. This is my first video and it is made in a bad condition, the volumn is also quite small so sorry about that :(( I will try and learn to make better video. My topics are related to study, university, self-help skill, beauty, food and experience in Korea from a normal girl. I hope that you can support me by subscribing and sharing.

It's definitely recommended for those who have relatively low CGPA to focus on their qualitative elements!

@@Gigi-cy6rl qualitative usually refers to things that can't be measured by numbers, so, they are referring to the fact that if you have a low GPA, you should focus on the elements that aren't proven with a paper, but with your words and actions. So, it can be your personal statement, interviews, etc. During these, the comitee will analyze your behaviour and personality more than anything else.

It's rare for me to drop a comment on a video but yours filled me with so much positive energy that I simply had to. I learned about KGSP relatively recently from a random youtuber and it got me thinking about taking up studies after a decade long break from formal studies. I am the sole provider for my family and to take up post grad studies can only happen in my imagination. Now I am getting ready to put up a fight for 2022 scholarship spot with a low GPA. I cannot thank you enough for this video. From having no hope to being hopeful is akin to coming across a miracle!

I'm going throw a really hard moment mentally in my life and my grades are decreasing due to it, even though I haven't finished my school year yet, I'm not expecting a really high gpa at all (like yours more or less) so it really helps to know that it's not over! @@sulinng also, I have a question, the gpa they look at is the last year one or they look at all the gpa from all the school years they ask for? (For example, Korea University asks for the score report of the last 3 years)
I was feeling way too much anxiety because I am in my Senior year of high school and my grades dropped in my 2nd period (out of three). This made me feel a lot more confident in my not grade-related skills, thank you :)

You're right... GPS is not everything to be selected, there are many factors such as doing volunteers, courses, work experience, your study plan, personal statement, etc. 💪🏼💪🏼

My GPA is sooo terrible 😭 This year I finish university and I'm in 50% of the faculty, my grades are not so good and I discovered this scholarship when I couldn't do much to improve them :'( I wanted to ask, is it necessary to have a certification of somekind that proves to be in 20%? It's sad because I have awards, recommendation letters even from the most important authorities in university and other kind of certificates of extra curricular actives :'v

I didn’t think that a 3,37 gpa was considered low what 😭 I’m from Brazil and our grading system here is COMPLETELY different, our high school grades aren’t even considered at college at all, the only thing considered is our grade at the entrance exam so that was the only thing I focused on studying for in my high school years which made my GPA (if I converted the grades right) to be only 2,24 LOL I only came across this scholarship program (we have it here too) a couple of weeks ago and I was really interested in applying for the graduation program in design but I think it’s better that I give up on this idea already because I think I’m hopeless (even though I have a pretty decent portfolio) since my gpa it’s a complete fiasco 😂 (I’m laughing through my pain)

I think you can ask your school for help. Some kind of certificate that you graduate high school with top 1% or 5% or 10% can be considered. The GPA conversion is also just to put you into percentage (80% means top 20%)
@@luma1498 Não podia concordar mais. Terminei a faculdade ano passado e não ouvi absolutamente nada durante a graduação sobre GPA ou qualquer coisa relacionada a estudos internacionais. Quando vi sobre a KGSP me animei tanto pra tentar, dai eu vi que é pelo menos 8.0 a nossa "média" pra tentar essa bolsa, a minha da 7.8 eu queria chorar, se soubesse mais sobre com certeza teria estudado melhor tanto no ensino médio quanto na faculdade
3.37/4 is NOT LOW but it's not high enough to compete to others candidates cuz they usually get >=3.5

I had a question how many students we want to finish university in Korea is our interest but we want to have enough information. How much money do we need where we need money and how can we get the money and how much money do we need to see Fanny Bts instead of the money? If we come there to finish university and we want to see how we can get close to them, that means giving them gifts or signing them

It depends on country and major. In my university many people have GPA above 3.5 and people who passed KGSP in Business or Economics have GPA above 3.6.

Actually I applied for the GKS this year for MS in engineering ( I have only 70% of total marks ) and got rejected.. but definitely I'll apply in the next year.
