Thank you so much for uploading this! I’m also a GKS (grad) student in Busan right now and I’m moving there next semester. You mentioned that you might move to Hanwoori House next year - is this really an official thing? Do all GKS students have to move from EHouse to Hanwoori?
Yes, only freshmen get to stay on E-House so starting from your second year you will be moved to Hanwoori. Not 100% sure it’s the same for grad students but I think it will given all GKS students are treated equal. Minus the curfew that is

Me alegra saber que el contenido te parece útil! bienvenida 🤗 si o si tenes que tener más de 80% en tus notas totales de los tres últimos años de liceo (en promedio entre los tres) Eso es obligatorio para cualquiera que aplique pero que tan estrictos son con las notas en general depende de la competencia que tengas ese año. Más gente con buenas notas = más estrictos

If you are planning to apply via the GKS program you won’t be able to do university track and apply to Ewha since only regional universities are allowed (aka unis outside of Seoul) if you are applying on you own that is a different story. In that case I don’t know what the process is like since I did everything through GKS. In my case I had no interview on Ewha but they did ask for a portfolio since my major is in the art field
hey i have a question so i want to apply for the GKS in 2023, i will finish my BA degree in psychology and i would love to apply at kore university. my questions are... Where do we find the GKS forms to download on the website to just prepare for next year and is it creditable for any university, for example korea university? the should you first apply at the university or first apply to the GKS? and finally will i be able to apply for both the university and GKS if my home institution has none connections with them?

You apply to the university through GKS itself and the application won’t be available till the period opens so you can’t find that on the website now but if you use the English version I’m sure you’ll be able to find it as it is pretty self explanatory. You just need to apply in February since you are aiming for GKS-G I assume given you will have graduated college by then. The list of available universities comes out together with the application form on February

Hello! I was curious about the washrooms? I have been admitted to ewha as a graduate student and would like to reside in e-house but confused if the washrooms need to be shared or each room gets their own washroom. I would like to stay in the single rooms!
Hi! There’s no single room on its own just the ones inside the units. I’m those cases the bathrooms are shared will all the other roommates from your unit. Hope it helps!
Why do we need to move into other dorms?? I'm kinda lost on it, it would be great if you'll help
You only need to live in the dorm on the first year (language training year) after that you can live outside of campus if you want

Idk if 100% in English but a lot of engineering classes are in English so check the Ewha website to be sure but I think it will be ok for CSE

There’s a department of pre-medicine and medicine but I don’t know anything else other than that. You can find more information on the Ewha website under undergraduate -> college of medicine

uhh.....i thought korean government is going to pay for the dorm for kgsp/gks scholers
The monthly stipend you get 900/1.000 is more than enough to cover those expenses. If you plan on living outside of the dorms it will be more expensive
