      Malaka it’s in case of a mishap a lot less water damage if a tank overflows or breaks .... it’s Theoretically impossible for every single small nano tank to just all the sudden leak at once if you can’t understand how that makes sense then I don’t know what else to say other than make more money and buy a house lol

    • @MissGlassButterfly
      @MissGlassButterfly 3 роки тому +2

      @@mrgrump2534 well simple don’t use a sump Setup and you can’t have an overflow issue. Landlords with rules like that are really taking the P. Also why can’t we just live in a world where you have a deposit for a reason and if you damage your fix or lose it. 😭

    • @mrgrump2534
      @mrgrump2534 3 роки тому +9

      @@MissGlassButterfly deposit won’t cover that kind of water damage we’re talking 20k in remediation even if like a simple 125 was to break on the top floor water takes the path of Least resistance... no1 wants to take that chance and there’s always gonna be that once slip up or that one couple that buys a used older tank off Craigslist and it leaks under pressure or worse shatters anyway it’s rare but it’s a risk assessment that is 100 % real and I can see we’re the property owners come from still sucks tho !!

    I thoroughly enjoyed this! My Betta is in a 5 gallon tank and have been obsessing and thinking he needs a bigger tank. It looks like you two are happy with your fella being in a 5 gallon. That calms me!!! I’ll experiment with floating plants. They are in my koi pond outside - why not inside. I live in the San Juan Islands. If you two are ever up this way please let me know. I’d love to have you come stay in my yurt! It was nice to get to know you two a bit more too. Aquarium Co-op really is a family! Thank you!!!

    Dang, Jimmy and Lizzie been holding out on us! REALLY beautiful tanks. I expected no less from you guys. :)
    Let the nano tank craze begin! I know bigger is "better," but nano tanks that are scaped well have a certain charm that you can't get from a big tank. I've really been appreciating the beauty of nanos recently.
    Love how that betta is so well traveled and loved. That's just so awesome to see.
    Maybe CPD's for the ADA? I've not heard that they are serious jumpers and they would look gorgeous in there. Or maybe some kind of small tetras like the greens... I'm bad with stocking questions, but thought I'd throw it out there. :)

    A quick note to anyone unfamiliar with Aquarium Co-Op who just stumbled upon this video:
    I don't work for them, or even know any of them at all. I'm not even that great a customer. Probably 5 orders over the past couple years. And, in fact, I actually get a lot of my plants at Petco or Petsmart out of pure convenience or spur-of-the-moment purchase.
    THAT SAID... I have made two recent purchases from Aquarium Co-Op, and I will never purchase plants anywhere else again. Neither should you. Cory and his team simply care more. The product is better. The packaging is better. The dedication to doing the right thing, delivering the best quality, and providing outstanding service is second to none. You can see in the videos that this isn't a business... this is a passion. A calling.
    I have watched videos from every fishkeeping UA-camr out there, and ordered products from no less than a dozen various sources. Aquarium Co-Op is the best. Fact.

    In regards to the shallow ADA tank and other tank on the ADA glass stand, a kind suggestion that you will need a lot more Amano shrimp in there to get rid of that algae, and better biological filtration (preferably Seachem Matrix) and perhaps adjust your CO2 as the algae may be CO2 related. Start CO2 injection 2 to 3 hours prior to the lights come on and turn it off 2 to 3 hours prior to light turning off.
