This is so useful. It's amazing to me how often Ukrainians think I'm making a statement when I'm actually trying to ask a question! You can imagine the confusion...
I appreciate your ukranian hospitality & I'm alittle sad I can't always attend your lessons. But I enjoy your videos and I'm learned alot about ukrainian trough you & I hope soon we can have another chat again! 💛💙
I’ve been trying the intonational approach that you cover here for the past few days. I was very skeptical-I didn’t think that it would work with an old man’s voice. It works GREAT, even for an old guy with no voice left from years of smoking! Thank you so much!
@VERBA_SCHOOL that is exactly it. I used to ask questions and then get these looks/responses that made it clear that people thought I was making a statement. No more! Truly, I've been trying this consistently for a week, and it's made a real difference.
If to speak about Grammar I would focus at personal and possessive pronouns and noun gender&number. Then adjectives, Then verbs conjugations. You may follow my Playlist Ukrainian for beginners, when you go through it you may go to cases (I have not created videos about them yet). Привіт!! Ідеальний урок!! With particle чи , do I have to put the subject ( ти або ви ... ) аfter the verb ( чи любиш ти яблука? ) ? Or can I put it just after the чи particle too ? ( чи ти любиш яблука? )
In "Ukrainian lessons 4. Noun Genders", you will know "XTO" is for animate including people and animals while "ЩO" is for inanimate. In English, "Who" is for people while "what" is for non-people. ua-cam.com/video/QC6CbD2KK5w/v-deo.html

👍Щиро дякую 💛💙!

Привіт! Дякую, Ніко, за відео, це було цікаво і корисно. Тепер я краще розумію, коли та як вживати "Чи" в питаннях.

Well done! 🔥
Everyone can learn this!
Has it become easier for people to understand that you are asking a question?
@VERBA_SCHOOL that is exactly it. I used to ask questions and then get these looks/responses that made it clear that people thought I was making a statement. No more! Truly, I've been trying this consistently for a week, and it's made a real difference.
Thank you so much for your lessons, it really helps me a lot ! (Forgive me for skipping the volunteer classes, I'll attend, I promise.) 💛💙🇺🇦
No worries 🙏
I am glad if any of my materials are helpful for you 💙💛
Thanks!
Very very helpful. Thanks alot.
💙💛
Very good lesson thank you. Why is "are you ready (in nominative? form) but "was he drunk" (instrumental form?).
Also, it would be good to have some footage of you asking Cooper "who stole a cookie? Did COOPER steal a cookie?" We love Cooper....
😁 Brilliant idea! I will take it for our lesson on Monday)))
What should I start to learn after alphabet? Verbs + gramatic or phrases?

Does this belong in your "Beginner" playlist?
Мені подобається цей відеоконтент. Але швидкість була більшою, ніж мені потрібно. We'd like this video content split into
I loooove using чи!!!! Можливо моє слово улюблене української мови! Іноді я думаю "чи," коли я розмовляю українською ггггг
😃 чудово!

Добрий вечір, Ніко! Чи можна казати «Чи ти любиш яблука?», замість «Чи любиш ти яблука?»?

We may use both, but I 'd say the option with the verb after чи is more popular 😉
you use "XTO" both for people and animals
That's right 👍
