Beautifully put. This is corollary to the objection protestants have to the Saints hearing the prayers of the faithful. "How can Mary hear so many prayers, all at once??". Another somewhat related aspect of the hyper-individualism of protestantism is how contrary to human nature it is: we're social creatures, born into families and live in communities and wider socieities. Protestantism's "me, Jesus and the Bible" mentality ensures it has little to no unity, zero historic memory, and almost no generational continuity...especially with the mainline denominations having gone full woke and going the way of the dodo. Great content as always.
Christianity is a personal relationship with God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, through the indwelling Holy Spirit. It is a strictly personal thing which we enter as an individual sinner before God. Mary does not even get a look in on the subject. You are attacking the truth of the Bible, not protestantism.
NT example: Do Protestants object to the "superhuman ability" of Peter to know the hearts/thoughts of Ananias and Sapphira? Does Peter stop knowing the hearts/thoughts/prayers of other Christians merely because he is now in heaven sitting on one of the 12 thrones that Christ promised to him?? (I LOVE pointing out the thrones of the Apostles in heaven; such a counter-Protestant truth from Scripture in all its implications.)
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. During the judgment they will sit on 12 thrones. Their job is to judge the tribes, not to field prayers. Anyway, during the judgment, all people are befor the throne. No praying is going on. Its all over, it is all finished.
@@peterzinya1 The Apostles are already crowned and on their thrones and already judging/ruling with Christ. We see again how secular Protestantism has become, thinking as man does and not as God does (Matthew 16:23). This is a tragedy of the "reformation". The intercession (communion) of the Saints is both demonstrably effective as well as long-settled Christian belief and doctrine. We know that "when He comes, WE SHALL BE LIKE HIM, as we shall see Him as He is" (1 John 3:2) as well as to be "absent from the body is to be PRESENT TO THE LORD" (2 Cor 5:8). Protestant arguments have degenerated into simple defiance and incredulity.
Of course the Saints in heaven can hear our prayers because they are perfectly united to God. Luke 1:37 For with God nothing will be impossible.” Catholic Christians put no limits on what God can do.
I don't think rev 8:2-5 can be overlooked. Although the censor is being used to cast punishment on earth I think? It still gives us a picture of heaven. There's an altar where incents is being offered up before God, but unlike the mass where we use actual incents, it says all the prayers of the saints are being lifted up to God as incents at the altar. Well what are the prayers of the saints? When we pray to saints we tend to ask them to pray for us. Seems like they in fact pray for us, and those prayers are incents to God. Amazing!
I don't understand why people want to put limitations on God or even anyone in heaven? Eye hath not seen and ear hath not heard the things in heaven and what God has planned for us. It's just one more thing protestants try to use so they don't have to face the truth that the Catholic Church is the one true church that Jesus Christ started. 2000 years later and they are still protesting.
No one doubts angels (and demons) have superhuman capabilities. Jesus explains that in Heaven we will be like angels (Mark 12:25). What's to fuss about?
