They are the minority, most of us are either dont care and playing more than one game, or minding our bussiness in a much more secluded media like discord, talking about lore, meta, string of combo and stuff
A lot of people, particularly in the EN gacha space, are convinced that “more generous = better game”. They develop these parasocial relationships with game companies and think that if a company gives lots of freebies, it’s because the devs genuinely care about them or are “grateful” to them for playing their video game. If a company doesnt, it’s because they’re greedy and don’t respect their audience, or straight up hate their players. At the end of the day it’s a business, companies want money and player retention. They will be “generous” when they feel like it is a good way to keep players from leaving. I say generous in quotes because they’re not actually giving anything lol. None of these companies actually care about us. Note that this is not saying WuWa is a bad game. I’ve been enjoying it myself (gotta get Changli lol)

Yes its for more profit, but its the fact that compared to hoyo they actually try to make changes to benefit their game whereas Hoyo never does or once every couple years does which does nothing but harm the player base. It may not always result in good like the story, but it shows the willingness to improve and care to actually change hence the idea of the devs being better.
I men just avoid any of the wuwa, hsr and genshin stans. Because those comunities are way too toxic now, I'm very happy zzz is a completely different and unrelated game from the hoyo honkai or genshin series or wuwa/pgr series. And the fact people dont label it as something killer is already great, because I know people from this community will be different from all those drama farmers

ZZZ’s artist is massively inspired by Blue Archive, which is trendy with some people but isn’t a style I like. But there are still some pretty cool characters in the roster.

@@meane590 There are characters that punishes you for button mashing. Enemies don't fight back until you find one thats wearing a cloak. Afterwards, enemies will not be standing still at all. TVs were removed 90% for all chapters except chapter 1.
Same, female MC is kinda a cutie, but all the other characters are either too weird or boring looking for me, Ben seems cool and the the tall police girl also looks kind of good
Map and combat looks superrrr cool some of the designs (mostly thr girls) are a bit underwhelming imo i hope they'll pit more effort into it the future!
What I want to see most is the teased or leaked(??) idol-robot-angel designs of possible upcoming characters. I was excited for them most but sadly did not see them in any of the trailers or announcements. I'm hoping to get Lycaon and the other cat guy and then save the rest of my pulls for the idol faction. I hope they introduce more unconventional designs in their roster and really lean into the fantasy part of the urban fantasy.

I've been looking forward to this game for years and now it is releasing on my birthday. Not only that, the only two characters who really interested me were Ellen and Soukaku and now I've learned I get both of them together on the very first banner? I'm really overjoyed 😊 What a birthday present!
Im also scared of that. Following Genshin and HSR storylines and lore already requires a lot of brain-space. I wanna try ZZZ and see if i like it, but I think anything 4th - should there ever be a 4th game - will just be too much. You can make a great game, but dont let it have a runtime of several years and then add several more games next to it. Its just too much and stops players from focussing and appreciating one of the games.

I wanna ask something related to the components' requirements (minimal) to run the game Question being, pardon me if I am not clear: "Are the components for ZZZ less recent compared to other hoyo games such as Genshin, Honkai Impact 3rd and Star Rail?" It's just that I sort of "fear" I won't be able to properly play this game as my pc has trouble running Genshin (last time I played atleast, unsure with Hi3 and HSR on PC since I played HSR on my phone) And since I am not a computer guy / "nerd", I don't really know what components are "better" than another (like Nvidia < Asus or something like that)... The characters I'm most excited for are the teased virtual idols faction. Especially the robot girl and the one with the wings. Unfortunately I don't expect them until 1.5+ as the devs literally said that they had a placeholder name in the special program. However that gives me plenty of time to save so I can get eidolon equivalents and their sig engine when they do come out. Lucy and Corrin should be more than enough to tide me over in the meantime.
