Honey, this is OG BOMBSHELL hair! I love it! It’s very 1950s Hollywood, Dorothy Dandridge/Marilyn Monroe vixen hair. When I had my short, red hair, this was exactly how I would wear it esp w/ a “wiggle dress” and cat eye sun glasses. Very vintage and unique yet sexy.
I love a rollerset, and the more you do it the better it gets. Sometimes i use a light heat protectant spray, someone’s just water…flat iron my roots at the end…bomb results. Same rollers!
It’s cute, it’s just not common to see women with such voluminous hair. Most women want the super sleek straight look, but this way of straightening is healthier

I was so tickled after you used the brush lol! We struggle so bad with our hair sometimes this was funny but it turned out super cute
I think you should wrap it tight with a scarf overnight to give you the straight look. Maybe next time you could use the smaller yellow rollers. . I use a light leave in conditioner spray and water the set the roller. And it comes out fluffy and soft. Will definitely have to try that foam though. Overall it came out cute

If you would like a smoother look, skip the rollers. Mousse it down, then tie all your hair down with those paper strips. Sit under the dryer and see if that gives you smoother results. 🤞🏼 You are beautiful so it looks good any which way you wear it!

@friedchicken892 Give it a try. 😁 Products and techniques will matter - so if at first you don't succeed, try, try again. It may not be bone strait. However, it will take much less direct heat from a blow dryer or flat iron to get it smoother. The potential downside is thick hair will take longer to dry under a dryer, especially since all the hair is flat when drying. You can also try using large rollers, and when dry, wrap it secure with saran wrap and get under dryer 10 min or so and see what happens. Good luck!! Hope it works for you!! 🤞🏼

Exactly! I think flexi rods would be hard just because of my length but I’ll definitely be trying soon!

Me too. I started using barbecue pins 😂 the round one and cut the pointy part because it can poke you.
