I still use these! May I suggest that you use und papers on sponge rollers at the ends of the hair. The sponges can be very drying and the hair can get caught in the cells of the sponge. An alternative would be to try the satin covered sponge rollers, that way you won’t have to use the papers.
The set came out beautiful! She has an interesting dye job. I've never seen that before where the back was a different color than the rest of her hair.
Beautiful ❣️was your clients hair relaxed or natural is this technique on natural blowned out hair also doable or will the hair revert using a wet product like mousse tfs❤️
PLEASE PRETTY PLEASE🤗 Someone tell me how to maintain these curls at bedtime, I want to do this style but will not be impressed if sleeping on them messes it up
Use sponge rollers at night with paper ends to prevent split ends. Uiu don’t have to do as many rollers as you did when you initially set your hair. The curls will still be set. Also, you don’t have to use a comb. Just take a few sections of your hair and roll. Make sure you tie your hair down with a satin scarf afterwards.
What brand of rollers are you using, the ones that I buy from the beauty supply are the pink ones and I tell you the clip part that fastens the roller always breaks off. Very discouraging, I just gave up. Please share the brand? Thanks I have type 2 hair very fine and thin,
A+++ Excellent style. You did great and she looks so beautiful. Wish I could leave my curls in 3 or 4 weeks. Im caucasian with fine hair. It gets greasy sovI must wash and style every other day!!! Im so sick of it.
@StarChild1109 I used to leave my curls as tight as possible; only fingering and combing (never brushing) just a little in case they poof. I already sweat in my head so every fan, AC and cool clothes are on deck. Headbands work wonders on a day old or puffy roller set. Even cute clips and barrettes disguise the dropped curls. Most of the time no one knows you didn’t plan on it looking that way except you!
I have natural hair 4 a/b fine and do mine and my daughters natural hair which is 4c, and have never ever seen natural hair that doesn't coil or curl up with that much mousse or any wet type of moisturizer on it and just stays straight and limp. It turned out extremely beautiful, but that hair has got to have a chemical relaxer or some of kind of chemical treatment.
@@krissydeebeachgirl Hi Mania, My daughter is heat trained, she wears her mostly straightened and has never had a relaxer ever in her life. Her press lasts weeks due to the hair being used to regular straightening with a pressing comb since she was a young girl on a monthly basis. There's no damage like with flat-irons. She's 4C and it goes right back to her afro when wet. Heat trained doesn't mean it will never go back coily or kinky it means its trained. A lot of ppl think confuse heat damage with heat trained, she has no heat damage. I press on low and we use rollers after no more heat and it stays straight, that's trained not this.
@@nnaturalheaven3754 I would like to know what products you use for your daughter's hair pressing. I use flat irons but I may try the old school hot comb.
I know this comment is extra late. I just discovered your channel! How long did she have to sit under the dryer? I understand if it was so long ago that you dont remember.
Just watched your rollerset video just a beautiful rollerset! How many rollers did you get in her hair? And also did she get a hairnet when she went to the dryer?

Ive been using sponge rollers since i was a teen, and i put them in my dry hair over night= perfect long lasting curls for the next day
I use sponge rollers nightly. I loved your client’s style.
That result is soooo pretty. It shows the time and effort of rolling the set pays off in the end!!
When I tell you this came out freaking gorgeous!!!!! Awesome Job for this to be sponge rollers
Beautiful shine, and curls. Always use end papers to prevent split ends 💞
I cut up satin material to put on the rollers with my sewing shears to prevent the material from raveling.
Love the shine. And I tried it got the same result
This is the look I was looking for going to buy products relaxer as well rollers... so glad I found this!❤❤❤
I always combed my curls...never separated them...I will try that now because I like my hair curly. Thanks for sharing.
The set came out beautiful! She has an interesting dye job. I've never seen that before where the back was a different color than the rest of her hair.
Back in the day we used pink oil moisturizer
@hazeylavonne6601 Hi. Could you explain how the pink oil moisturizer was used?
That is a fabulous look off sponge rollers....trying it!!!
Absolutely gorgeous!
@KaluaLauber Thank you so much and thanks for watching!
That was just beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I’m definitely going to try this.
I didn’t know you could sit under the hair dryer with foam rollers. I thought they would melt under the heat.
This came out beautifully ❤
I used foam roller all the time and today I set my hair with lottabody with coconut Shea Oil and it came out beautiful
can I used a hand held drawer to do this procedure
Very nice, I will try this roller set with sateen rollers.
Pretty!

Gorgeous!
absolutely gorgeous
Beautiful shine
Beautiful look; awesome work! I had no idea you could go under the hair dryer with sponge rollers. Isn't there a possibility they will burn? Thanks.
@adora721lux Thank you! The rollers won't burn. Using medium heat under the hair dryer is best. Thanks for watching!
I was wondering the same thing! The curls came out gorgeous though. I’m going to do this today 🙌🏾
Beautiful!!!
Love it. Done it.💜💜💜💜
GORGEOUS!!
@wcarter Thank you and thanks for watching!

Can this be done on natural hair as well, with silkey press????

Please share the brand? Thanks I have type 2 hair very fine and thin,
Love everything about this Video and her hair ! Very pretty !
Beautiful 😍.
Very Pretty!
can I used a hand held dryer to use on the mousse
Is your clients hair relaxed? I have 2B hair and wonder if I could do this on my natural hair?
HOW can you make a roller set last in hot humid weather?? I live in Florida & end up reverting to a w&g.
I love it 😍
Beautiful is her natural?
Beautiful

How do you make a roller set survive hot humid weather. It reverts in a day! No one seems to have an answer for that...

What product can be used to make a roller set not revert after day 1 in hot humud weather
Can this be done on non relaxed hair?
yes , My hair is normal pressed.
@@ethelenejames2199 thank you I will try this on my daughter's
What about natural hair 4 c?
Great job on those curls. Her hair turned out beautifully. Is your clients hair relaxed or natural?
@TonettechiNaturale My clients hair is natural. Thanks for watching!

I was also wondering if the client was relaxed or not. She could be heat trained so the hair doesn’t revert easily. Came out nice

I just learned I’ve been using rollers wrong 😂
I know this comment is extra late. I just discovered your channel! How long did she have to sit under the dryer? I understand if it was so long ago that you dont remember.
@ashketchum3270 I believe I put her under the dryer between 30 and 45 minutes. Thanks for watching.
Where can I find the cream of nature honey moisture whip cream?
Walmart has it.
Why didn’t you use rolling paper to protect her hair?
The use to be pink good times pretty
Nice

❤❤❤❤
This client must be relaxed my hair would have curled back up from the foam
How do she keep the curls to last that long
@bonitaanderson22 My client uses a large silk bonnet at night to sleep in, then fluffs it out in the morning. Thanks for watching.
A wash & set means no blow drying & no sponge rollers
A word of advice: look for fast hair growth shampoo to double hair growth.
4 weeks dirty hair after 3 days
Nice
