WOW this game gave me a lot to talk about. I didn't expect this video to end up being so much work but I hope you all enjoyed it! Next up, Call Of Juarez: Gunslinger. If you want to join me for that stream, come give a follow to my twitch! www.twitch.tv/jarek4gamingdragon
Hey can you do a review of red dead revolver please it'd be pretty neat to see your opinion
X-Men Origins: Wolverine Uncaged Edition. Best Wolverine game ever
Gunslinger was awesome
The 4th Komodo It’s the theme from the game Legendary
I was making a mod for this game 1-2 years ago and while editing the files I discovered the game actually has a lot of unused mechanics like ai suppressive fire, actual ai communication, gore etc which can be enabled.if the game was finished then it would've turned out to be pretty good.Sucks that they didn't have time to finish it.
I remember looking at this game at best buy when I was 12 thinking it was Call of Duty Mexican edition...
r a i n b o y s 2 0 0 3 lmfao
Same
Hilariously that might as well have been the case here. 12 y/o you was right on the money effectively.
Bro same but at the swamp meet😂😂
This made me laugh so much this morning LMAO
The dancing animations look like those crappy SFM videos that are purposely bad.
true
The one dance animation looks like a specific skeleton gif I keep seeing posted
They are straight from gta sa and im not even joking.
VHSRetroPL Lmao you are right.
It gave me the terminal ouch
What were the devs thinking? "Let's take our very indentity that defines our franchise and throw it out the window". Thank god for Gunslinger.
It got to go out with some dignity.
They were drunk and suddenly this shitty idea came to their mind.
@@FatfighterXD1 Definitely feeling it.
@Grym You thought Bound in Blood was bad?
Nelson Pimenta God*
the mayor or Governor of Juarez at the time disliked this game's interpretation of the location

@@jesusserrano8769 Juárez has never been "peaceful"
But it has been quite calm lately
@@jesusserrano8769 as someone who lived in cruces for 2 years and made frequent trips to Juarez I can tell you it is far from a peaceful place
@Big Rock I guess so but its a lot easier said than done
I just noticed that this game is running on dead island's engine.
Every call of juarez is running on dead island engine
@@pchtommy1268 is it so? Gunslinger looks like it's using a different engine.
@@epic8923
Well, Chrome and Chrome Specforce was running on the first Chrome Engine.
Call Of Juarez was on Chrome Engine 3.
Bound In Blood was on Chrome Engine 4.
Dead Island, The Cartel and Gunslinger was on Chrome Engine 5.
And from 2014 onward it's the 6th Chrome Engine, which Techland uses.
Yyp, that's why it looks so fucking trash and plays like trash. I've always hated Dead Island's engine when it came to guns.
Glad I wasn’t the only one who notices and that engine is only ment that zombies
I screamed when he said this game came out 2011. Watching it, I was convinced it was 2007/09 era
Can you specify this "era" you're talking about?
@@bigdog5 2007-2009

Definitely. Just think - this came out in 2011 and Crysis came out in 2007. Let that sink in.

About the G2A thing, for some reason, I'm in Romania rn and I'm getting G2A ads every now and then it amazes me, really. You yourself said you'd rather pirate the game than buying it from there and somehow they are still alive.
G2A sponsors MANY youtubers here in the Balkans.
Unfortunately some of the prices that G2A offer are just too good for people to turn down, especially if they're not aware of their fishy practices as well
🙂 they cause unecesary credit card fees that developers end up paying
@@TheReliableBeacon Fishy practices?
@Vampuffin true lmao,it's one of the most scammy buying site.
Just a thought, with the co-op thing with telling your friend to look away so you can get the experience, I feel like it would be alot more interesting if when you busted them you got half the experience that they would have gotten or something
it would still be a ill let you get away with this if you let me get away with this
which would have still been more intresting
it could work by docking the xp you get from the other players at the end of the mission for letting that person get away with it
It's a shame that the game turned out like it is. I was unfamiliar with the Call of Juarez series, so The Cartel easily flew past my mind. When I found out about it on IMFDB, I was curious on what it was like. And as bad as it was, it does have an interesting idea.
A modern day interpretation of a western, similar to the FX series Justified or the Coen Brothers movie No Country For Old Men, but mixed with the real-world conflicts with Mexican drug cartels, similar to the Sicario movies. The idea of playing as a dirty cop is also an intriguing idea to me, the only other FPS where you could do that was Battlefield: Hardline.
It's disappointing that the graphics and gameplay (as well as the disjointed story and unlikable characters) drag the whole thing down. It could've been so much better with the right amount of effort. I feel like this idea could've worked, just not as a CoJ game.
"So i bet the console players are feeling pretty smug right now"

Yeah the fact that his last resort was g2a says that he doesn't try that hard
@@TheScrubmuffin69 I mean how else he is getting this game? Contacting the devs?
Gunslinger is underrated, the only complaint I have about it is that it under uses it's own story telling device. That being that the story is literally being told orally as you play through the game and that what's being said will effect things in the game world.
Really? I thought it used it well.
Gunslinger is great, just wish they would unlock the fps cap on console
A game so bad you got to buy it on G2A.
A game so bad you cannot even pirate.
@Kilo Whiskey Just look up videos on it
I actually bought some games from G2A for real i didn't know that the keys were actually stolen in the first place and the reason why that I used the website because of how cheap the games were now I won't be part of that platform anymore
@@lamlelamatsiliza8550 not all of them are stolen but there are so many keys on the websites and compared to how many keys companies usually give its likely that at least 80% or more are stolen
@@valletas ok thanks for the info
I grabbed this in a bargain bin for £1 and was still disappointed 😂 The glitches and constantly repeated dialogue loops gave me a laugh for a while, but not much else.
I remember when gunslinger was released I was so hesitant to buy it. I'm glad I did in the end, it was a fantastic little gem of a game.
Why the Benelli M4 is pump action? It's a semi-auto shotgun. Shame on you game, shame on you. And i'm a shotgun's player. So that a shame for this category.
I mean technically the SPAS can be swapped between pump and semi-auto because it can be both modes but developers either have it be one or the other never both.
@@cursedhawkins1305 It's true but in Nightfire 007,yoi can swirch between modes.
Cursed Hawkins running a SPAS on semi only works with rounds that have enough power to cycle the action.
It is a weapon primarily made for law enforcement so the pump function is there if they wish to fire specialty ammo like beanbangs.
Should of gotten a SPAS-12 or a Benelli M3.
Giant Dwarf Not really. User error is something to account for and that can easily happen if the shooter is in a stressful situation while operating the gun.
You could say it can be mitigated by training but the same applies to automatics. Training is the key.

I thought this game was a mix of call of duty and red dead redemption ngl
There is not a single similarity with any red dead game.
Nah its basically just a western version of CoD,the cartel how ever was a rejected concept for Call of duty with cops and criminals and these devs decided to make a game out of it.

It's a good thing they came back 2 years later with Gunslinger. That shit was 🔥🔥🔥
I actually enjoyed this game when I was a kid, but we enjoy a lot of things as kids. If I played it now I think I’d hate it, it’s a stain on the series. But at least it makes me appreciate the masterpiece Bound In Blood more
The original Call of Juarez was definitely rough around the edges but at least, it set the foundation for the franchise. Call of Juarez Bound in Blood greatly improved upon the original game. It had a pretty good story, interesting characters, satisfying shooting mechanics and you felt like you were in a living and breathing world. The game had personality and charm to it. The Western setting was intriguing and fun to explore. On the other hand, Call of Juarez the Cartel is a soulless, bland and generic FPS title. It's only Call of Juarez because of it's title and nothing else. In fact, Bound in Blood and The Cartel are complete polar opposites of one another in just about every single aspect. Call of Juarez the Cartel could've done a lot more when it comes to the U.S./Mexico border drug cartel issue. This is a completely different entertainment medium, but look at how great the original Sicaro was and the solid job that it did when it came to tackling the aforementioned drug cartel problem. I got so bored and uninterested in Call of Juarez the Cartel that I stopped playing the game after only 30 minutes. As you've already mentioned, the audio is poorly done. It's as if the sound was recorded in an empty room, which is no excuse for a AAA title. The graphics options are basic at best and that's putting it rather mildly. If you are playing solo and you are driving a car, you can't even shoot. That has got to be one of the worst video game mechanics that I've ever seen in a game. In other words, you need a partner in order to successfully complete said driving sections. I wholeheartedly agree when it comes to getting knocked down because it takes a few seconds in order for the character to get back up. It really becomes frustrating and irritating when it happens over and over again and you can't do anything about it. The story and characters are generic. I guess the shooting alright but that's it. I doubt that there will ever be another Call of Juarez game and the disappointing Call of Juarez the Cartel is a big reason for that. It's a shame, because Call of Juarez Bound in Blood and Call of Juarez Gunslinger were really enjoyable titles.
The gameplay for me was incredibly frustrating since some of the missions were glitched. For example, there was a driving segment that gave you an objective marker well said marker vanished and I got completely turned around to the point where I was driving out of the games boundary and all that there was was the skybox
The secret objectives thing never made sense to me. So you're supposed to do these things to level up your skills without your partners seeing you do it, but this is a co-op game. Why would I not want my partners to be effective?
The first livestream I saw of you :) It was fun!
I remember picking this up at Gamestop on release day for $60 (OUCH) I was 11, I liked the other games so I figured it be fun. I beat the game in 4 hours, and went back to Gamestop where they told me I'd get $25 for the trade in. It was the first time I'd experienced a pure shit game, and felt robbed of $60.
You are literally the only UA-cam gaming channel that knows about guns. You knew the M24 had an internal magazine. I can't think of another youtuber who knows that.
I CANNOT be the only person that liked this game.
yeah i legit loved it. Played all 3
i like this game like i like call of juarez bound in blood
First call of juarez I played
for me:
1. gun slinger
2. bound in blood
3. call of juarez
4. the cartel
For me i was fun to play
I remember being 14 when this game came out and watching a co op playthrough from some of my favorite UA-camrs at the time; was one of my favorite series for the longest time.
I think when I was in Mexico a long time ago visiting I accidentally made the mistake of renting this game... needless to say it left a poor taste in my mouth after beating so I ended up buying bound in blood after returning home...
you sir have just gained a sub. love your content and strength to even play bad games like this. keep up the good work
I played this game like 2 years ago and the whole time I played it I had a bad headache
I remember the multiplayer being 100x more fun then the single player in this

r/boneappletea.
I like that you used The Legendary theme
Gunslinger is a pretty great game imo, changes some things up so can’t wait to see what you think
With zero context this game looks like a decent indie type small game. But when you realize that it’s part of a triple A trilogy, that’s when the confusion and slight anger starts to roll.
You're in for a treat, both for Three Houses and Gunslinger. Gunslinger is one of the most satisfying and fun FPS games I ever played and Three Houses really rebuilt the whole FE experience from the ground up and is already my favorite entry (I haven't even beaten the first run yet).
I'm extremely skeptical because I hate the weeb shit FE has turned into

Hey Jarek, when you are finished with the Call of Juarez series I highly recommend you checking out Dead Island 1 and Riptide for more godly Techland bad games. You can almost say that The cartel and DI1 and Riptide are a trilogy of bad games since they were all developed on the same engine around the same time. DI1 is a memorable experience for me as I played it co-op with a friend on the x360 for way to many hours, had hacked weapons dealing insane amounts of damage and explored every glitch and bug we could find. Note: Do play the pre remastered games as the remaster is even worse in its own ways.
Fun facts:
Hacked weapons can launch cars into the air, its hilarious. (Shotgun is the best for this)
If you hit cars in specific areas with weapons, instead of your normal hit vfx so will you instead get a water vfx, as if you was hitting water.
While running, look at your characters shadow, the running animation is just so bad its hilarious they let this be as it is.
Know that resort hotel you get the armored truck from? Yes you can climb it, just need an ridiculous amount of crates to be able to get on the roof.
There exist a duplication bug in at least DI1 which if you play coop and have one player shot at a weapon on the ground meanwhile you then pick it up, you will get a dupe.
These games are just filled with bugs, but was extremely fun with a friend just playing it for what it is. The Cartel however just sucks... Glad they once again showed they can make good games with Dying light.
This was made by Techland? Or just published?
@@dogerio The Call og Juarez games where made by them and published by Ubisoft. Dead Island was also made by them but published by Deep Silver.

I came here for one reason
I need to know why is the comments disabled on the far cry ranking I loved it and I wanted to say we need a full far cry blood dragon game
This game came out the same year as Dead Island, Techland's first big open world action RPG. Safe to say that's the game that got the most care from Techland at the time. I also almost wonder if the cover with the double barrel was only done because the artist was hoping someone might confuse it with Red Dead Redemption (which basically overtook Call of Juarez as the biggest western game on the market).
I remember I went to rent this game for a week but it gave me bound in blood instead. I think I was blessed
I just noticed that when you reloaded the AK and Bolt action sniper they reloaded the exact same way as dead island riptide.
Same engine and same developer,my friend.
Not just those but almost all weapons. It even plays like dead island, didn't you noticed that?
The game that came after this one in 2014 I think it was called gunslinger or something with a Wild West theme, it was a really good game from what I remember.

Are you using music from Legendary in this game? That's pretty dope... era-specific...
Is it the theme song for Legendary that has been used?
I remember renting this for the 360 played it for like an hour then took it back and forgot about it
that music in the background is from another game called Legendary: The box. It is the main menu theme. Jarek, if you haven't done so, can you review it? It's actually pretty decent
The fact that the gunplay looks like Dead Island really tells how crappy it feels
It's the same engine.

Love that the music is from Legendary
A game about Mexican cartels with a consultant who knows what the fuck he’s talking about would be absolutely fascinating to play.
Interesting fact is that there is an special version of mouse acceleration which can be used and was used by some good aimer. I saw a video about it dont remember the name
I wolder who told the developers that changing the wild west atmosphere would be a great idea in game mostly known for wild west atmosphere?
its crazy i remember this game first dropping always telling myself i was gonna get it. Now look how it turned out
Gunslinger is insane. I hope we get a sequel one day.
the gunplay made me remind of deadisland when i played this
I don’t know if you have done this game (I couldn’t find a review, anyway): try checking out the game Inversion. I’d like to say it came out just after mass effect 3? Not really sure on that point, but give it a shot if you want. Looking forward to another intriguing video
So, how about some ideas? (I'm extremely lacking in Call of Juarez lore, so I'll mostly be leaving out the previous two games.)
Benjamin McCall: Current male heir to the McCall family fortune. The family bloodline goes all the way to the Wild West days, but they've dropped that from local history books and computer records for some time. While the McCall's can get pretty violent when they want to or when they're in a bad mood, they tend to stay away from direct violence when commiting crimes. Instead, they usually hire lower tier gangs and other bad folks to get their jobs done while they stay in their Phoenix, Arizona estate. Benjamin didn't really do this. He was considered unusual in his family in that he personally wanted to get the jobs done even at the risk of violence and also preferred to do so with a partner or something to that end. This came in especially well when Benjamin was drafted for the military during the midst of the Vietnam War, where he was well documented for mostly relying on his Python revolver to take out enemy troops along with stolen RPD Machine Guns. He also showed promise with the M1911 semi-automatic pistol; all of it earning him the nickname "Sheriff of Vietnam" mostly in reference to his custom Python and how he seemed to look straight out of the Wild West era during some parts of the war. After coming back from the war in the early 1970's, he had already learned about friendship and other things that his family did NOT like at all. They threatened to kill him as a way to "cleanse his body of this illnesss" like all delusional families do. In response, Benjamin drew his Python, lowered his cowboy hat, and went on a murder spree killing everybody with his trusty revolver. By the end of the event, his entire family was laying dead spilling pools of blood on the rich carpet and fancy woodwork in the main foyer and basement. He then took a lit cigar from his grandfather's bloodied mouth, poured some gasoline all over the foyer, and threw the cigar into the liquid, lighting the mansion ablaze. However, it was later revealed in 1976 that one of his siblings survived the event, but only time would tell if they went down the same criminal path he once did.
In September 1980, he left Arizona and headed for Los Angeles, California. He joined the LAPD 3 years later, serving as part of LAPD SWAT for 30 years until today. He still has no clue who the remaining sibling is, but at this point he hardly cares who it is as long as they don't end up down the same criminal path.
When I was younger I used to play this and I think I still have the disc

what is the background music you're playing?
I would love to hear it in depth
