Even kids hurt in a playground , will "confidently " go back to that playground , once they heal up , if no one makes too big a deal out of their injuries . We had a similar old guy that would always get lost in his pirogue southeast of New Orleans. We'd get the call for a first light flight out of Belle Chase NAS (Alvin Callendar Field) on Saturday mornings. The first time we got called the sheriff told us the sooner the better to find hin since he was diabetic and the wife said he didn't take his insulin with him. Then they told us he was legally blind. We did find him and his dog safe and sound, but when we dropped our message in a huge capsule (maybe 15" long) with a note in big letters that the CG was there to help him we hit him in the head with it. Fortunaely it was only a glancing blow. Vectored in the sheriff's boat and everyone was happy. There were several other missions to find him during the rest of my tour in NOLA. As always, hats off to Matt and crew for sharing their awesome work with their viewers!

Amazingly, LIZZY has never been wrong. She hasn’t always been right though….truly a work in progress.
Love seeing the power of the Morvair pulling vehicles out that are completely buried. That rope is a lifesaver. That TRX w hellcat power sure dug himself deep
Matt I really enjoyed the lesson behind why you say don't run over the rope very educational.
In my opinion this was a real treat seeing Lizzy in all three of the recoveries.
I am not sure if I could get use to 90 or 100 degree weather on a regular basis must be a Utah thing
MATT, hello, nice day of DRY SAND RESCUES , But that RAM, I guess the owner figured ,I got4X4, Ivan go ANYWHERE ! OH CRAP, I’m STUCK ! How could this happen ? But MATTS OFF-ROAD RECOVERY saved the day, for a few today ! Stay well, safe travels 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Kudos for you giving the servicemember one recovery on the house. Good rope demo at the end, too.
“Lizzy is a champ” Matt is an Amazing leader/mentor 💪 Shoutout to the “MOR” Team 👍
Bob is ALL about safety and wears his helmet as he negotiates life!!! 🤘🤘
Right lol
I was wondering if anyone was going to say it....
@@mktrollop1093 I had to.....just to dam funny!!

I love how that UTV owner lives life, and just keeps on hiking that thing up everywhere. Good for him!
Matt’ll get me out, lol.
Matt is a heck of a human being 👍 his work is excellent, his character and attitude are always pleasant, just a good man ,that I'm sure anyone would enjoy working with him or for him 😊 I think his show should be on TLC along with count's kustoms and pawn Stars 🤩
That Morrvair is genuinely an impressively capable machine!!
Indeed! It sure doesn't look like the Corvairs I saw in high school. This thing is a beast!!!😃💯💪👍
Hey MORR. Might sound silly but thanks for helping out the military couple. It’s great what you guys do and even better when you record it. Add in a mix of humor and you have a subscriber for life. I promise the next time I’m out west on my Goldwing I’ll call when I’m stuck out in Sand Hollow.
"So we got a call for a Goldwing stuck in the sand..." priceless! It will be fun to see Lizzy pilot it out ;)
A sweet way to "Thanks for your service " , and a class act from Matt's off road recovery !!!!
Well I give that guy props for taking his $100K Trx Ram off road!
I had to laugh when you were explaining why you didn't know the color of the Ram. My husband "checks out" when I talk to him as well. Thanks for sharing your work with us, you live in such beautiful country. Stay safe and GOD bless
It’s awesome how Matt being so dependable allows someone like Bob to go out and just bomb away and enjoy himself knowing he’s got a safety net!
Bob sounds like the guy that falls, dust himself up, cinch his saddle up and go right back at it!
Gotta get Bob a sat phone or gps finder, one for him and another for the Can Am.
Thanks for the content Matt! Thanks to the family as well for being apart of it as well, everyone does an outstanding job. I have 2 months watching all of your videos I don't know how I didn't find your page sooner but I'm glad it showed up on my feed!
At least the guy with the UTV had his bicycle helmet on.
This is why Matts a good guy helping out our military people! Hope to meet him some day
All rigs can get stuck which is why you offroad with friends. Plus another tip in the sand is dont dig yourself in trying to power through it. If you feel yourself getting stuck just reverse out and try another line.
The RARE Tuesday drop . Lovin it
Seeing the notification made me reconsider what day it is!
@@JohnFL same! I checked two or three different places to make sure it’s really Tuesday. 😂😂
Turns out it was posted a day early in consideration to Fab Rats and the passing of Paul's dad.
Thank you for taking the time to record, edit and upload these videos.
There's just something good & fuzzy about returning to regular, mundane rescues after a number of grand adventures & special events. It kinda feels like coming back to work on a monday after a vacation but in this case, it's more like slipping into my favorite pair of worn-in shoes. I personally love how much it is just like daily life, with ups & downs & long periods of routine between significant events. A comfy, decent watch that feels so welcoming. Thanks for sharing!
What an Amazing playground at your fingertips!!
Mega jealous!
Keep up the great work so I can live through the lens a little more...
Whoa! @0:55 Tom is pretty good with that long Japanese blade... Nice paint job on that blue TRX. That Marine in the Mazda (guessing he and the gal were Marines, as he's going to Camp Pendleton in CA--could be in the Navy)--nice of the Team to comp him that recovery (and, you have them t-shirts!). Salute.
Still in Awe from the plane recovery! What a good crew! Another great episode and well done demonstrating why you don't run over the rope! Great channel! Thanks for sharing!
I liked that Lizzie HIKED OUT of the airplane recovery to make her appointment! She has none of that 'victim' mentality!
@@honthirty_ the airplane recovery when Lizzy hiked out was probably shot after this recovery. A few months ago Matt explained how videos are not posted in the order they happened. I do fully agree with you though, Lizzy is a trooper, she's not the type to have a victim mentality. She has proven herself many many times as a vital & essential part of Matt's team.
Rule of thumb: the vehicle pulling, pulls and guides only . The one being pulled needs to break at stops and keep the rope tight, no slack. Assist only when needed and don’t run over the rope.
Always learning from this channel. You know you're off-roading for real when sandstone ledges
wipe the 4x4 decal off the rear quarter panel.
thanks Matt for helping the service member who got in a bind...as an old soldier, I can assure you that these acts of kindness are truly appreciated when you are trying to relax and have fun between duty stations and deployments...
As a northern European I'm always blown away when hearing how hot it is there.. 30C (86F) is almost like a national emergency event where I live, can't even imagine 43C (110F)😅
Yeah, but we have usually high humidity when its hot here in Europe, so it's like in a sauna whereas they have a super dry climate.
@@666louis Folks who've lived in Southern Utah for a while are careful not to touch anything made of Metal without wearing a glove in July or August. (Except for Matt - something Useful must have come Undone, when Paul Cox hit him one night, during a Demolition Derby. The fellow Running MORR seems to only believe something is hot, shortly AFTER he smells Scorching Flesh.)
@@666louis You want to know what 110 degrees dry heat feels like? Go sit in your oven! It's still HOT! :O
@@666louis don’t discount the lack of humidity. I’ve lived in both, they all suck
In which country are you ?🙂
Matt's first on NASA's call list for Moon stuck vehicle recovery!
That’s funny 😄
The Morvair will require some slight modifications.
I really appreciate your patience with that gentleman with the CAN AM. Much respect for a guy that chooses to live life as an adventure even with medical challenges.
yes I too wish more people would see that and quit making snide comments
I love your videos! Nothing better than seeing people drive their vehicles out to sand hollow and get stuck, then make a call. I'm always amazed that people don't air down the tires heading into SH.
Salute - Thank You, Matt for honoring our service members service! As a 3-Tour Army Vet, that really means a lot to me.
I'm not only loving the service to our men and women in the military, but I am loving the special effects sounds that you edited in. They help a ton with the comedy factor. 😁👍
That Morrvair is a rock crawlin, desert eating, mud stomping, water skimming son of a beast. Love it and the crew.
It really is an amazing unit, the Jeep too.
Buys $100,000 truck believes it's a offroad beast and gets rescued by a home-made offroad beast.
Wrong type of Wheels for desert 🏜 crossing.
All about the driver and airing down the tires, should have never made that sharp of a turn at low speed in deep sand.
@@Durahan82 not wheels you meant tires and if he aired down he would have faired much better. Bug heavy truck in sand make it easy to get stuck.
Enough advertising already thanks…..
@@Bigdaddyslasher Even aired down, unless he kept momentum that heavy, high HP truck was just going to dig a hole.
That sarcastic gasp and shocked face during the demonstration gave me a pretty solid chuckle. Hahaha...
As a businessperson raised in a family of businesspeople it warms my heart to see you finally doing sponsorship tie-ins
Also nice job Tom Tom cutting those fruits in half mid-air 😂 You've got better knife-aim than I do
Matt it's nice to see that you gave a break to the service member. You're a good guy!
Another day, another Matt's Off Road Recovery upload. Starting my day off right! 👌
Respect for the Marine ! Thanks Matt for that !
Matt another great video and you are a stand up guy for taking care of our service members. Definetly good to see the TRX out in the wild too most of the ones I see in this neck of the woods are high powered mall crawlers.
Can guys please give Bob a camera for his rig ! His paths are crazy looking! All our prayers for Paul and his family! "52 forever"
Going off-roading with two vehicles and having a strap or a winch should be the lesson learned from this channel. It's amazing how easy it is to get stuck in the sand or snow.
The winch only works if you have something to anchor it to. You might not have that if your alone unless you have a good ground anchor. But even then they may not work in soft sand.
@@KevinBenecke yea Ive heard somthing about buring your spare tire and hooking your winch to that? But thats also making sure the spare is not under the rig..Idk..never been balls deep in quiksand and dont plan too..
I just carry a strap but a winch could kind of handy,I read of using a spike into the ground as an anchor
Matt can we please get more fottage from the driving and the beautiful surroundings in Utah in these videos? The landscape is really beautiful and it's like im taking a small roadtrip in the US :) I saw you had that in a lot of your older videos. Hope you are doing well and thank you and your crew for the amazing content and contribution to your local community. Regards from Norway.

Love the videos, looks like a blast maybe I'll come visit when I move out that way. Really just wanted to thank you and your crew whom I've noticed offer a lot of support and courtesy to Veterans without trying to draw attention to it. Every little gesture comes packed full of well wishes and appreciation for for the things we've done and we strongly appreciate it. Thank you
Veteran here, liked the video as soon as I saw you help those youngins out. If I remember correctly, I didn't get paid shit in the Army. lol
Matt is a stand-up guy! Thank you for honoring or service men and women!
Amazing terrain, great rescue. We appreciate the time and effort
I was waiting for you to say “this one is on the house “ for the military guy. Good job Matt! 👍👏
Thanks for the running over the rope explanation. Wondered what exactly you were preventing by doing so.
Running over the rope can also damage the anchor point on the vehicle being towed. It creates an enormous amount of stress when the rope goes under the tire like that.
There are plenty of stories of people ripping their bumper off when they run over the tow rope/chain.
“This one is on the house,” for the military couple camping across country. Matt and crew are good people.
I LOVE "LIZZY", wow, what a smart, quick-learner she is!!! So glad she is involved morr !! All the "players" are great.. keep doing what y'all are doing !!
Matt , your a true American..helping others out, making great videos, and bringing happiness to your viewers.
Ram trx is heavy. Cool truck, but I'd like to see what happens with the Raptor R!
I can tell you from my ownership experience, TRX is a beast but a very heavy beast. To give it a chance to exhibit its performance you have to air down to 10 PSI at least.
"on the house" you are a good man Charlie Brown
I especially enjoy watching Matt having Lizzy pull while he handles the customers ride. I’m thinking that in time, we may see Lizzy’s Off Road Recovery. Can’t wait. She is learning from the best.
Oh My Lizzy got a knife and she is deadly with it too. That was funny when she dumped her other knife. That is really quite the awesome surprise packages. I like ice cream for lunch any day too! 110 degrees, really, ugh. Ah, the fringe benefits of the job, 4-wheels in between recoveries, tis the life. Love that you support the Vets Matt. Don't Run Over The Rope, got it.
