The shoe was a little shoe. All of the children wore the same type of boot. The boot probably belonged to Lucas or one of the other little boys at the prison who didn't survive
I think it's Lucas and the little girl (Molly) that Mika and Lizzie were with. They ran away and afterwards Tyreese calls out to them not to run that way.
I loved these moments of the show, a lot of character development.

So Maggie barely looked for Beth in less than a day and immediately went off to find Glenn.
Glenn is her husband. when you are married that is your family, your first priority. she also assumed Beth would be dead and had more of a feeling Glenn would be most likely alive and had a better chance of finding Glenn. it's not that she didn't want to find her sister...did you even watch future episodes? also making your spouse a higher priority does not mean you care less for blood...you can't make a family(kids, intimacy/love, home, future) with your blood family but you can with your spouse, that is why your spouse IS your bigger priority as it should be.

@@totesmegoatscrystal9688 Of course I watched future episodes, but that shouldn't change how I felt the moment I watched this. After Maggie confirmed Glenn wasn't in the prison bus she didn't give up searching for him the way she gave up on Beth. Maybe I don't share your vision of the future (marriage, intimacy and kids) not to say I wouldn't want those things, but with all things considered in the apocalypse the original society's rules don't apply especially now that they're back out in the open.
the only reasons I believe someone would oppose my views are either young, hasn't been married/life partner and or doesn't have someone they see a future with and or doesn't have or want kids with etc...or you are the type of RARE person unhealthily make others a priority over your spouse...blood is important but your spouse IS your spiritual bond, family you chose for a reason...you can technically not be alone and have your entire family with you BUT your spouse is your other half, no one can replace the emptiness you feel if you lose your spouse or child. and like I said she found it would be more likely to find her husband than her sister...and she does fine her husband. if it were me I'd find my husband and daughter FIRST.. THEN go after everyone else and if I run into the others first GREAT.. they can help me search for my spouse..but I try to find my spouse(if I didn't have a child I'd go after husband first but obviously my child is first then spouse then everyone else) and then my blood, etc...i can start a new family with my husband but I can't replace my husband with my sister....also with zombies you can't look everywhere all at once for everyone, you need a mission and her mission was Glenn because 1 her husband, 2 most likely to be alive...also on the way to terminus they said maybe everyone else is there, that may also imply for her sister.
This little post prison arc is by FAR the best part of the entire show.
I agree it had the best character growth. I know the walking dead gets criticized for these kind of episode but I love the see didn't relationships finding common ground.
