I LOOOVE these vans, ive driven many of these for employers. Very easy to manuver around, park, and its got a lil pep. Im thinking of buying one for my own small business.

Yep, I didn't know that these were available, but it fit my needs as well. I bought one in May, 2020. It handles very well. I have about 13,000 miles on it thus far. I wish I could have known this 5 years ago. I used to have a Honda Element, which got wrecked from some idiot who drove into the back side while Parked in front of my house. The Van is acually better for Room, than the Honda. And I don't need to have passenger seats. I don't plan on ever going back to a Passenger Van again.
I can almost stand up in here he says as he’s almost at a 90 degree angle. 😂 but seriously these vans are great for cable technicians. Just stick a rack in there and a rack on top for ladders and you’re good to go. Nice video man. You covered it very well.

@@lastditch727 Thank you, I have never owned a van, so I wasn't aware of it. and at the time, with the lockdowns in NJ, I had no way of actually seeing it for myself. So...a year ago, I ventured to a dealership that was open. And bought an NV, traded in my Scion. The price was just too good to walk away from. I love my Van! I decided to drive down to Texas, from NJ. Made a small 'bed' out of a Hope Chest (storage) and added a flip-like xtra top that opens out for a small makeshift mattress. And I slept in the Van with my two dogs, at rest stops. It's a bit of a struggle to travel with two dogs, so I didn't have much choice at the time. But it was workable. Where there is a Will, there is a Way. My brother was kind to install a trailer hitch, and a ceiling vent for the back, once I got to Texas. IF I could have afforded a bigger van, I might have gone in that direction. Of course, now I might have to look into finding the right size Trailer IF I end up traveling more in the future. lol

Boulder Offroad sells a 2.5" lift kit for the NV200 which will allow you to use 215/65R16 tires which, they say, gives you about 4" of additional ground clearance.
@@carsunlocked For the first 150,000kms anyway, but I expect them to make manuals less available in vans because there aren't many people who want that. What bothers me a lot more is you can't even get a standard transmission on a frontier unless you want the much more expensive version. I refuse to be pigeon holed into buying something with an inferior transmission simply for progress and convenience. And i'm certainly not dishing out an extra 8000$CAD just to have the transmission that should be in the base model. The 2.5 L I4 version has a silly automatic in it. it'd have to be one of the most gutless trucks on the market like that. At least put a manual in the el-cheapo version.

Are there alternatives to the CVT transmission? Those units are prone to early failure, and require regular maintenance.
not with the nissan unfortunately
I talked to an electrician. His needed a trans at 180K. So not bad? Said it was $4,000. That’s bad.

What would be similer sized van that does have a remote lock
This is the entry level package you can go up to SV package and get the remote locks
But could you get a non-foam queen mattress in through the back without forcing it?
I doubt it
Full sz only
They should add a option for a passenger van for dis same model since other countries offer that
In NYC they use them as taxis
