You can buy them in the U.S.; however, for them to be legal they must be 25 years old, so currently you can get a 1999 Toyota Hiace. However, since they're a Japanese import, they usually have steering on the right side rather than the left side
I love my Tundra but I bought it mainly for work and I think I would’ve bought this van if it was available in the USA

Me too but because you can't purchase a Japanese import any newer than 25 years old, we can purchase 1999 and older in the U.S. anyways. But since its a classic, getting a car loan is challenging. For those who have cash, it's no problem

Hope we get an EV cargo version in the US with at least a 90kwh battery. Something with built in 2000 watt AC inverter in the back and feature to run AC/Heater while parked and even charging. A solar charging option.

@@sky5.311 I think poor quality on all except the Ford Transit Connect which also had low sales probably due to limited comfort options like heated seats, heated mirrors and sun roofs. Adding those options after market, might as well buy a minivan for just a couple grand more and get easier resale.

If they had a hybrid version of this they would sell a lot of them. All electric is to expensive and gas is expensive a middle ground of hybrid is needed in the work van industry.

So glad I purchased and converted my 2018 Promaster City new back in 2018. It's been amazing. Hoping for many more years, but wonder if there will be options later. Not wanting a big van. Would love to see those small Stallantis EV vans with the projected 500mi range show up in the US by 2025 if they can get around the chicken tax.
