Perfect format and I know this was a lot of editing on your part! I want a van to play tenor sax in (live in apt.) and most are too small, 60" height would be ideal but this one is close at 55.1" and all others are 38" to 40" or so, with Ford Transit at 45" tops. A 12 mpg conversion van is best, but only 12 mpg! So, thank you!
Thanks for all that James. Other such information I’ve seen is for trade outfitting so this was more helpful. One more dimension I wish were included is the width just above the wheel wells. I seen it mentioned at (about) 56” - 142 cm. That seems reasonable but I’d love to seen it in your video so I could like it for future reference to every useful measurement.
Fantastic information, I'm currently thinking of doing what you are in the process of. The dimensions you've given are paramount. This van is definitely on my radar now, thank you. If it's not to much trouble, could you give me a dimension from ground to drivers seat height, this would be most useful as getting in and out of any vehicle is becoming more difficult as I am over 6ft tall and have niggling back problems. Thank you for sharing this, and thank you in anticipation for an answer. Phil.
Thanks James. Great videos. I so wish I'd found your channel before now :) I also have a NV200. Its a Tekna and a 2 years back I had it professionally insulated , carpet lined and dark windows put in, by a company in Wiltshire. The plan was.. that leaves me to do the rest of a custom camper conversion... It never happened. But we have used the van plenty of times for camping trips, carrying bikes and tent, etc. Love the van! I really like your bed video. Do you have the design documented at all ?
Hi, thanks for the kinds words! I did a few camping trips before doing the whole conversion, and it's made so much difference having the van fully kitted out now. Unfortunately I don't have any bed plans - it evolved from a previous bed design and I adapted it from there. Any questions, just ask - good luck with your build!
Hi James, like others I've found your site and videos a massive help in making a decision on a van, thanks. I have a question about the interior height (135.8cm). When you're sitting upright on your bench/bed in bench mode, how close is your head to the ceiling, and how tall are you? Could you also give some indication of the height of your bench including the mattress please? Thanks!
Hello there, very nice videos. I would like to ask if you know about NV 200 with no left door behind, i search all intenet and did nt find any info about. I am one step before i buy it. Thank you in advance

Hi James, Your videos about Your van conversion are really great and extremely helpful, thanks a lot ! One question regarding the mentioned length of 204cm from back doors to front seats: What is the related position of the front seats ? (Or: what is the max. distance, when front seats are at the moved-forward position ?). Kind regards and happy camping 👍, Jan
Hi Jan, glad the videos are useful! I'm afraid I don't know the length including the seats when fully moved forward. I would think it was approx 220-230cm in total. It's also worth bearing in mind that not all NV200 (including mine) have sliding front passenger seats (only the driver's side slides forward). Hope that helps a bit!
Thank you for the great videos! Are the front seats fully adjustable (slide back and forth, recline etc.) when you remove the inner wall / bulkhead or are they fixed?

Hello sir do you know where is nissan nv200 ( nissan evalia ) engine number location in engine .
How to trace engine number in nissan evalia car ( nv 200)
Hi I'm looking for a bulkhead for a 14 plate nv200 do you know if the 21 plate env200 fits
Hi Dai, I'm not sure I'm afraid, I understand the vans are pretty similar but wouldn't like to say for definite.
What's your mpg roughly
How many miles do you do on a full tank
Average about 50mpg and roughly 500 miles per tank
How long is that Mal?
Would I be struggling to fit in a 9'6 Mal?
It's 9'4, you could probably get away with a 9'6 but with the furniture I've got in the van now I couldn't.
is it the same dimensions for the e-nv200?
I'm not sure, sorry. I haven't measured an e-NV200
Does someone has a 3D file of the internal area?
Hi James, I hope you realise how super useful your dimensions video is. Fab resource. Thank you so much:)
