I've reviewed Carlinkit 5.0 Carplay adapter recently and today it is the time to check which one is better - Ottocast or Carlinkit?

Amazing to hear, my wife is happy with it in her MG ZST too
I have the carlinkit 5.0 which works 95% of the time. Sometimes i need to restart the MG infotainment system to get it to work. Does the Ottocast work every time?
Hasn't been an issue for my wife - she has an iPhone 12 Pro Max and never complained since she started using it... I know what you mean about Carlinkit 5.0, it disconnects sometimes, but I thought it due to my Haval H6 electronics and Android Auto....

Hey, I'm just reuploading reviews of electronics from my main @valuecarsau channel, which is why these videos might come across a bit disjointed at the moment. I use Carpuride W903, but I've had good experience with Carlinkit 5.0 too. My wife uses this Ottocast U2AIR Pro.
I just took it a yesterday, quick question. I am not able to hear phone calls on carplay. I see in there faq that i need to turn off bluetooth what about my apple watch?
That's strange, have you checked all the other elements of it? E.g. other interfering devices that try and overtake Bluetooth enabled audio stream? I had similar issues in my Subaru Outback that has built-in wireless carplay and android auto and constantly tries to interfere, causing issues... That's just an example. But it could be as simple as volume being down or something like that. And unfortunately I don't know much about how apple watch works or what would help there - I recommend you go to manufacturer's website and look for support or a FAQ there.
