In the first one tanking does not top you out. I would have probably placed the T on columns 8-9 of the sides and it's easy to see *with grid visibility* that you stay 1 line away from dying. Each time you place a piece without clearing lines when under attack makes 8 lines to spawn at most.
Quick question: for the example at 2:40, why does the garbage come in chunks? Instead of the whole 15+ lines it just filled 8 lines first allowing us to tank.
Because even when you have 15+ lines sent to you only 8 can be sent after you place a piece as it is capped(default setting you could say) at that amount the rest of the lines will be sent afterwards unless it is more then 8 again
So at 1:45, You say to use the 2 Tetrises to cancel. That is definitely acceptable, but what I would suggest is actually doing the first Tetris as a cancel, then placing the T piece to tank, and then cancelling again with the I piece. This is for 2 reasons, 1: You are more likely to end up with cleaner garbage 2: You will get more garbage overall to then counter attack as you want to use their spike against them. You have to think about the pacing of the game in this scenario , after their spike they have very little defense, if you want to properly counter, you must tank more garbage.
You actually do use this reasoning at 3:00, so something I might suggest in ur videos is to present a practical solution then a more in depth one if there is one.
So for the timing method at 5:10 ... was that really the best example you could use? I think it would be much more clear if you were in a scenario where you must cancel and not accept passthrough otherwise you would die.
Impossible (fake?). I thought osk never implemented garbage cancelling. Isn't everything passthrough?
wdym I can’t do 17 pps 9-0 stacking and reach x rank :(((
*sees smolfeesh in intro*
ah he's either gonna get 4pps stickspun or 4pps dpc
You’re using the best OST in the game, very nice choice 👍
