I don't, but also do miss the good old days of being chill at the game, rather than good. Where I knew how to stack, and stuff, but never even knew openers. I have always had a dream of reaching SS rank, but the only thing holding me back is my speed. If you have advice, please tell me. (I also need to clean up my midgame, but that's not the point)

At C+ rank is when i actually started to practice T-Spinnint, im currently B- practicing other various spins.. I was a B- a month or 2 before hand and spending all that time practicing in quick play, i tried to get my tetris rank up afterwards, but Havent been able to get my TR up at all. I even got beat up by a C+ even after being able to drop pieces quickly and do efficient t spins
Great journey man :) I've had practically almost the same journey as you I started playing tetra league in the beginning of feburary and I was a D+ rank One of my friends from school was the person who got me into tetris, as well as a lot of other kids as well He was one of my close friends, and provided me assistance and coaching to help me get better (he was a A- at the time). Fast forward to only Feburary 5th, and I'm already a C rank, with 10 wins in a row. This streak continued for a while until I got to B+ rank on Feb 26th Things got a little harder, but I persevered and reached A- on March 2nd, A on March 4th, and A+ on March 6th. By this time the friend who introduced me into the game was at S I kept on going, getting to S- on March 8th. At this time I learned my 2nd opener, dt cannon, being able to do it at 1.5 pps I hit a small roadblock, but eventually made it to S on March 25th Just 8 days later on April 2nd I made it to S+, and this is why trouble really started. I had learned my opener really well but wasn't anything to good in the midgame (I could do dt cannon at about 2.6) On May 12th, I finally got to SS, which took a while. (By this time I had surpassed my friend too who was in S+) Fast-forward to now, me learning sdpc dpc loop, being able to play faster, and having aldo a better midgame, im now a high SS, with my friend being a mid SS. I appreciate your journey, and I hope you also appreciate mines :)
WOW you basically had the EXACT same path as me. Friend teaching, surpassing them. Learning sdpc and dpc at around S, and that’s so amazing. Props to you though, you have a faster growth than me. Hope you get U rank soon ☺️
@@JayKobTetris my journey was a bit slower once I got to a+, and since progress has been slow, currently I just fell off s+ but I am pretty sure I can get it back, regardless I don't feel my midgame improving which I am trying to do and stopping just pc spamming which isn't gonna work anymore, I have been at this mindblock for a few months now and it is annoying.

I then started off C+ at season 2, but quickly climbed to B. Then B+. Then A-. Then I finally reached A rank. But then, I had a horrible loss streak… and was demoted to A- once more. It was demoralizing, but I kept playing. And then, I reached A once more. 10250 TR. Just 3 days ago I learned DT cannons. Currently, I’m still A rank, and I have 10892 TR. I will get A+, trust me.
I find myself mindblocked at s-s+, and I am trying to get more efficient at my midgame instead of just pc spamming, and I'm finding it difficult to either play faster or more efficient or downstack better.
How did you surpass the 1-1.9pps skillcap? I've had a roadblock on that pps range since a month ago and I can't seem to improve anything. I know that I don't use 180 cuz pros don't too and I have 70-80ish finesse not close to 90+ yet but aside from that I can't really pass the roadblock on that pps range :(
Pps should be the last thing to worry about. This comes naturally as you keep playing and playing. I guarantee you 180 degrees will be useful for rotation kicks. The number 1 thing you should focus on is KEEPING THE BOARD FLAT. You must have a good sense on your next pieces and keep the board flat and not spiky. This allows for more tspin opportunities and clean downstack. Hope this helps
It’s still my first 100 apm set. I know I’m an opener main but in my point of view I see it as something that I achieved in terms of progression. It’s also cuz I had limited clips. I definitely had 100apm with midgame before.

Damn, 2 months ago with that pps would get you to u? I was playing like 2.5 and was still losing at s+. Eventually I just started to chill with the PC spam and just become a yakinery main, I might be u rank if I tried again.
O hey there, I remember you. Anyway, most of the time it’s midgame as well as stacking fundamentals. Those are way more important than pps. Openers only last you till SS unless you go like 4 pps opener.
