Taking mine in a week
This doesn’t address my issues. I understand the key words/concepts and know exactly what strategy to use to solve the problem. My issue is I am simply slow at doing the actual calculations/math. How does one figure out quicker strategies to solve problems/do math faster?
Practice.
Take the ACT if its too much you can just use your calculator the entire math section
Guys I’m cooked
Same brothra man
When you had your SAT postponed to March 23 because of bad weather :)
Bro same, where u at
hope u did well
My exam is in 2 days and i feel like i am screwed after seeing thus video
What did you get??
Priceless advices
Hey, i wanna crack Sat but i don't know how to start, I'm in 10th grade (early) rn. When i searched i didn't get any actual teaching videos of it. Do we have to just solve question papers without learning their concept?
noo
@@abdulboriyvorisov then?
@@LostBear-777first start with books and learn the concepts and rules of English writing and math then you can work on your quick answer tricks and exam patterns and strategies
There are quite a bunch of good sat channels on UA-cam but I would recommend learning the basics through the books

Use Khan Academy and Erica Meltzer Grammar and Reading Books

Thanks bro, I’m 13 and I’m in 8th grade and my middle school has classes on how to do the sat, which I’m taking and we take the actual test sometime in January and this video was super helpful. I hope to do well 🤞wish me luck!
I am incredibly anxious, I started studying last week and I feel like I haven't progressed at all

youre god, believe this i have sat in 3 days and you saved me, wish you all the happiness
Will the digital sat cover the same topics as the paper and pencil sat?
Thanks!
From what I've read it'll still contain the same topics, but the test itself is a a little more streamlined
Plus you get free desmos on the whole thing so you dont have to actually solve any of the “find where the lines intersect” bullshit
john sir could you prefer me a calculator for the digital SAT
One is provided on the test, allegedly similar to a Desmos calculator. I'm not sure if you can bring your own on the digital SAT.
@@GameChromaYou can actually
bro i have like five days before the sats
how do i self study SAT at home with no tutor? any materials ?
khan academy, know all the concepts given there and practice all those mini tests. you will find pdf books for free in google. You just need to search those, there are plenty. Personally speaking i practised from a college panda book that i found on the internet. I finished that book in a month. After you know how to do those, start to practice past papers. I practised 12 past papers. I recommend you to practice past papers only after you know some basic concepts otherwise you will feel lost. Check out prep pros, strategic test prep and scalar learning. Don't forget bluebook tests. Even if you have done those tests once, try to redo it, check out where you got wrong, improve that area. Please make a separate copy for your mistakes, arrange them nicely with questions and explanations in your own language ( simplified version ). I had 3 mistake copies. If you do these you willl surely get above 650 and you might get 800 as well. BTW I got 800 on my maths.
khan academy- u can also input ur college board previous scores to see where u need improvement etc. or do diagnostic
@@mad_8321 how do i do diagnostics?
I usually solve myself to death and it works? And i don't mean mindless solving without understanding, that's literally just a waste of time. You need to not only know your mistakes, but also to understand them in every way possible and in every form possible.
#1 question. Why if you know the answers to all the questions are you applying to go to college? lol
im a year late. tomorrow is the 2024 june sat exam.
Lol same, i haven't done any practice tests so I think I'm screwed 😭
Pleaaseee explain 97 and 98 no. question from Bluebook Practice test 3. My mind is crazy over those two questions. Please I beg you to explain those 2 :(

hey dude how are you i have some question that i want to ask you since i have no one to ask 😔
i’m 16 i currently live in russia i studied in international school for my entire life i have graduated earlier since international schools last for 12 years in which public ones do 11 and i have shifted my school after 10th grade i had a agreement with my school that i won’t go to school since i don’t speak russian so without going i could improve my sat and get used to it i home tutored myself for the past 6 months i watched all the videos on youtube i have taken all dsat test digital format and scored 800 for math section from the 4 tests i don’t want to repeat the topics that i know to be honest do you have any idea what should i do till my exam date there is 1 or 2 months should i work on my writing and reading section more during this phase or repeat the topics that i know from math
i might actually have written an essay for you sorry😢
@@yusufkaya1393 Hey man, congrats on hitting 800! Until your SAT, you want to do the following
1. Review the MATH materials & take a few paper SATs to keep keep your math skills.
2. Try to get more points on the R/W section by focusing on the writing section. Grammar portion is much easier to raise your score in (less materials to study for).
Best of luck!
@@JohnSAT thanks for the reply i appreciate it. your videos helped a ton❤
@@JohnSAT so i should not watch the videos that i used to watch for math section again just practice through tests right?

SAME!😭
how to get free practice tests?
khan academy has plenty :)
Bluebook (its an application)
Take it in exactly one week and I feel soooo clueless, definitely gonna fail
What was your score?
Could someone explain question 4 at 1:48. No idea how to do this one.
sin(a)-cos(44)=0
sin(a)=cos(44)
a = sin^-1 (cos(44))
its just rearranging the equation with algebra and solving for a.
@@owc7468I'm so confused
@@leopardd3744
angle b is = to 44 degrees.
the original equation they give u is sin(a)-cos(b)=0
since b is 44 the equation becomes sin(a)-cos(44)=0
we want to figure out what a is equal to so we isolate a
(move cosine to the other side of the equation by adding cos(44) from both sides)
sin(a)=cos(44)
now we want to get rid of the sin to get a by itself
to move the sin to the other side of the equation you have to take the inverse sin (sin^-1) of whatever is on the other side of the equation
a = sin^-1(cos(44))
put that in your calculator and u get a = 46
Hope this helps
Oh I just used the identity
sin(x)=cos(90-x)
So 90-44 is 46 (answer C)
