I purchased this 24 Scale model 2 years ago and still working on it, hopefully this year i will finish it. It’s a great project to do, I was a Driver in the 1960s from Norwood garage, and then at Stevenage driving the RMCs (716A) they were and still are the best bus ever. Good luck on your new venture.
Such a coincidence this video should come along as I've just bought my first bottle of Nyetimber to give to a French friend! Even better to know Pete now operates their Routemaster.
That was a great show Pete. Glad to see that your business is expanding in the way it seems to be expanding. You are very good at the promotional aspect of these videos as well. I mean, those bikes are probably not at the core of your own activities but you still convinced us all that they were a great product. I'd like to say that I've ordered twelve, but I haven't. But when I do decide I want a foldable electric bike, I'll certainly consider Crazybird. You are constantly sending Lord Barrington underneath buses. Give him a warm handshake from all of us. Many thanks, Tom (from France)
Thanks Tom! I do genuinely like the e-bikes. They’re a cool evolution in personal transport. The foldable part was excellent. And it’s up for grabs for under £1000 👍👍 thanks for watching

In all the years of going by bus I never had a tyre go. I saw it happen to a skip lorry and it veered right across the road in an instant quite a shock to see never mind driving. I have two of that kit one not started on yet It can be built in two versions. A great well detailed kit.
Awesome video Pete, brilliant work, nicely shot and so interesting as always! (even for those who just know they like busses because they are shiny and red)
Thank you, Hubnut for bringing me to Pete and His Bus UA-cam Channel. I really enjoy Pete Sonneveld's enthusiasm, great channel and keep up the great work.
Thanks Pete, for posting this makes me more determined to get a 1966 R M L . Trouble is I’m busy with the South Yorkshire Transport Museum as I’m now a newly appointed director and trustee. One for sure we will have another R M but will be a R M L ie mine. There’s always something to do with em as I’m sure you will agree and we have lots of vintage buses.
I once had a tubed front offside tyre on an RT suddenly deflate on the M2, no bang, just a sudden massive pull to the right pull to the right, I had the shock of my life, so I know how you felt, just yank it over to the hard shoulder, I dread to think what would have happened on a, "smart Motorway" Perish the thought. Massive respect to the tyreman who came out and fitted our spare. We later went to Watling Tyres at Northfleet to have a new tube fitted.
Was amazing meeting you at Stoner Park craft fair Pete. Hope the leg is better now. The Nyetimber bus looks amazing I so want the Revel model now or 2 lol. Can’t wait for the new adventures with RML 2757.
Another great video and what an interesting story. Look forward to hearing how you get on with the new bus and of course all your other exploits. Keep eating those very healthy breakfast cereals…

That raised roof sure beats making it permanently an open topper. The result is stunning when it's up. Love the paintjob. Would hate to hear the list of a 6 or less. I wish I could fit a hubodometer to the near side of your buses so you have one on each side. That way you also have symmetry and a reading in both miles and kilometres.

75-93 Hanwell and Hendon - that’s got to be the 83, hasn’t it? In which case, given the long span on that route I think I can state with absolute certainty that I travelled on that very bus! The modern 83 starts at Alperton now, not Hanwell, so it’s a shorter route and doesn’t travel through Ealing like it used to back in those days.
Someday you need to expand upon the Lord Barrington backstory. Because it’s probably confusing to a lot of viewers. Whether by design and good fun or purely unintentional. It seems like there’s more here to tell than is generally known.
