Next episode will be titled "Great Two Player Games You Can Play by Yourself," and it'll be half an hour of Joe crying and eating an entire can of peanut butter as "All By Myself" plays on loop.
I’ve never commented on any of your videos... or ANY UA-cam videos for that matter... but I wanted to say, “Thank you, Dave.” I’ve enjoyed this channel for years and has really helped me while building my collection. I appreciate what you guys do and hope to maybe see you in the occasional cameo on the channel! Also... this weekend is already hard due to Endgame and Game of Thrones. Losing Dave is just another heart wrenching addition to the weekend.
Thanks for all the great shows Dave. You will be missed but best of luck on everything else. I too am an old guy with a family and between work and family it is even hard for me to find time to play games let alone film a show about playing games. I get it man. Joe, so glad you are keeping the show going. I may not have the time I want to play through games but I can make time to watch some Game Sack!
That ending skit was quite fitting. It’s been a tremendous run for both Joe and Dave, and it’s been great entertainment... plus I’ve learned some stuff along the way and the show has convinced me to buy/try some games that I overlooked before. Congratulations to both on your accomplishments to date. I look forward to seeing Game Sack continue and I wish Dave the absolute best moving forward.
End of an era... beautifully done guys.... I'm going to really miss Dave, but I do wish Dave all the best, and want to thank him for all the pleasure that he brought over the years with Game Sack. And all the best too for Joe - who'se editing and production values have been incredible over the years - and I really hope that Joe can continue to fly the GameSack banner high and proud...... Thank you SO much to both you Joe, and to you Dave, for everything that you've given me, and everyone else here on UA-cam for all these years...... :-)
We failed you Dave. Based on the quality of this channel, it should have 10x as many subscribers so you (guys) could do this for a living instead of a regular job. I hope you find time to pop in every once in awhile for at least some cameo appearances. You'll be missed. -Love me and every fan of this channel
slaytanicsabbath I can only presume you don’t like the show, and so think someone would have to be sarcastic to say the show deserves more subscribers. I agree with the OP that the show (relative to other similar shows) deserves more viewers. Quite a lot more. Maybe he was being a bit OTT (or just emotional and/or extra keen to get across his gratitude, which is totally understandable) by saying ‘We failed you Dave’, as ‘we’ (the actual subscribers) helped keep the show above water in the first place. But I get it: too few people (fans of gaming/gaming videos) have given this channel its due. Weirdly, at first, I wasn’t convinced by Game Sack - wasn’t sure about Dave and Joe as hosts, maybe. Or something about the aesthetic. I dunno. Looking back now that seems totally mental: the guys come across as tremendously decent and companionable, and entirely sincere. The show’s a goofy, comforting, joy.
Not gonna lie, that end skit brought me to tears. It's extremely powerful. Very, very sad stuff. I will be counting the days until Dave makes his first guest appearance. Whether that's months from now or a year or two, I will be waiting. In the meantime, I hope the show can remain almost as good as it was.
Fair winds and flowing seas, Dave! Game Sack will go on and I really wanna give big respect to Joe for keeping at it. But man we'll really miss you! You put a lot into this and it really shows, for what it's worth. Thank you for all your hard work and great content over the years.

Agreed. I don’t begrudge him anything but it doesn’t make it hurt less. Hurt. Over a guy I don’t even know. On UA-cam. Crazy. I discovered Game Sack during a particularly hard part of my life and job and thoroughly enjoyed watching their entire video catalog many, many times over since then. I learned a lot and got to experience a ton of stuff I missed during my gaming youth from two really guys who I’ve really come to see as friends I just haven’t had the chance to meet. Good luck and best wishes, Dave. And Joe, we’ll be waiting for the new episodes very eagerly.
Felt wrong to hit the thumbs up for Dave's final episode but I mean it in a supportive, this was a good episode, kind of way! Good luck to you both going forwards!
Dave: This isn't a fond farewell. This is more like a friendly and casual "let's hang out later, okay?" This show has given me many hundreds of hours of joy in the past 5 or 6 years since I started watching. I know it will continue to do so long into the future.

A great episode to sign off with for Dave, thank you for being part of my Sunday entertainment for 8 years. I really didn't realize it had been that long, time flies when you're having fun. Best of luck once again Dave, don't be a stranger now. Thank you, Joe, for continuing the show, I'm sure the new format will be great. Keep up the great work.
I teared up at the end. I thank you, Dave and Joe, for all these years of quality entertainment. I had just married when I started watching you guys, and I've thoroughly enjoyed your amazing work. Damn, this got me right in the feels.
I will miss your input on games and all the funny jokes from you Dave. You and Joe made GameSack what it is today, a celebration of everything gaming. Good luck on your career and family Dave! Big ups 🙏🏻
Not much into commenting, but I have to say your YT-channel is the best gaming channel out there. I really like most of the topics, the way they are presented and both of you guys. The skits are also nice with this one being the very best of all of them, because it's not just silly, but also kinda serious at the end with Dave looking at the room and recaping and stuff. Very well done! I wish you, Dave, all the best and I can totally understand your decision. As for you, Joe, I hope you don't screw it... You better not.
Dome_Nightbearer I’m with ya. Game Sack was my go to channel, they got a lot of watch time from me. I love the two of them together. It’s sad to see Dave go, but I understand.
HA HA HA!!! OK Joe... I'm still gonna tune in! I listened to the PlayStation 2 episode while I was getting ready for work this morning. Don't worry, you haven't lost me as a fan. Yesterday was just an emotional day for a lot of us. Keep up the good work, and even though I am sad that Dave is leaving the show, I am looking forward to your new content.
Good ending! I’m glad you went with one of your corny skits at the end, but also was glad to see a nice call back to Snatcher and a final sendoff. Good luck Dave! Thanks for 8 years of awesome shows and some good laughs!

I always wanted a skit where it shows Dave in his game room with like, 20 copies of Joe's Snatchers just laying around his house propping up a wobbly table leg or something like that.
That ending moment with Dave was very fitting. He finally got that game! Thanks for the memories and all of your contributions Dave! Hope to see you in a cameo soon!

The ending almost brought me to tears. I only recently started watching since last year. Love this channel. You guys keep up the good work in and out the sack. 😎
Thanks for all dave, you two are the reason I started retro collecting and revisiting my childhood consoles, thanks, the last bit of the video make me cry :(
The end where you say goodbye while holding Snatcher actually gave me chills, its sad to say goodbye to what feels like a good guy and a friend, but what you always learn in life is that things change, just remember to stay the same. Goodbye Dave, good luck in everything you do.
Dave, I've learned a lot and played a lot of games based on many of your recommendations. Thank you and Joe for making my collection richer and our hobby brighter. Looking forward to the future of one of the best channels on You Tube.
They mentioned it many times in Tweet replies and Reddit posts. The thing that made it obvious that the Switch in particular is getting a physical release is that they reduced the file size from the Xbox One/Steam from 11GB+ down to only 3.3GB. This was obviously done so that they could utilize a 4GB card and save money. This extra compression adds a tiny bit of load times, but it's not bad. If you search around you'll find posts about Studio MDHR plans for physical copy release plans, like this Tweet from 11/2017: "In the future we will be doing a physical edition for sure!" Source: mobile.twitter.com/studiomdhr/status/926278179484061696?lang=en They even mentioned plans for a Collector's Edition of Cuphead! So perhaps they have been working behind the scenes with either an iam8bit or LimitedRunGames to do this. Thanks Joe, thanks Dave, Game Sack is much more than games to me, it's always been family to me. Godspeed mr.White, enjoy Snatcher and all it's contained Mega Powers! Joe, you keep going man!!! To another 8 years! A genuine Sacker
I've always thought that Game Sack episodes are some of the best produced videos on UA-cam. Thank you so much for being a part, Dave. I'm sad, but hoping to see you back in future episodes.
I was actually hoping that you guys would be able to cover "Freedom Planet" in this episode, since it is one of the best indie platformer titles that I've ever played, especially due to its 16-bit style graphics and cast of colorful characters with an amazing soundtrack, and I will definitely miss seeing Dave in future episodes as well. :(
Thanks Dave. The shows you guys made was amazing. The only true source of good information about this hobby of playing older games. Hope your plans all come to fruition.
Gosh Dave. I can't believe you're choosing your family and career over Game Sack. What's wrong with you? Just kidding. I wish you well. Also Cup Head is on the Switch already.
Thank you Dave for all of the amazing years, memories, hard work and great times that you've brought to this channel. You will be sorely missed. Good luck with any and all future endeavors. Stay awesome!
Dave, I'm really sorry about your leaving. I am Brazilian and I have no fluency in English, but Game Sack is my favorite UA-cam channel. You have always dealt with the topics seriously, without losing the good humor needed for entertainment. Thanks a lot, Dave. I really do. And Joe... My support will be even bigger from now on! Wasn't surprised at the ending of Joe goodbye to Dave but the part where Dave came back to take one last look at the room and switch off the light really got me.
Yesterday I watched Avengers which had some teary momments. When I got home it turned out my dog passed away of old age. I've got really teary. And now Dave...Take care. And thank You Dave. Good Luck for Joe.

We’ll miss you Dave. Thanks for all the years of hard work and laughs!
cried more here than during endgame. thanks dave for all your time and videos you have done for the past 8 years. wishing you the best.
Thank you for everything Dave, it’s been a pleasure, been watching for many years and you’ve brought many hours of entertainment to my life. Thank you again!
Thanks Joe, thanks Dave, Game Sack is much more than games to me, it's always been family to me. Godspeed mr.White, enjoy Snatcher and all it's contained Mega Powers! Joe, you keep going man!!!
To another 8 years!
A genuine Sacker
That ending where he got the snatcher game and then turned out the light with tears in his eyes.... yea that made me tear up :(
I've always thought that Game Sack episodes are some of the best produced videos on UA-cam. Thank you so much for being a part, Dave. I'm sad, but hoping to see you back in future episodes.
So long, friend, thanks for all these years! We'll miss ya, til you come back again once in a while!!!
Yeah great game... But now that an actual game was released it Will be overshadowed
Man this was a beautiful ending to the Game Sack Cinematic Universe.
BladeBlur Game Sack is technically continuing, it's just that it will be Joe alone from next episode on.
@@alsatusmd1A13 I know but still
Sad to see Dave go. Hard Corp uprising was a fantastic 2D shooter. I wish it could get a rerelease. Also the new Shantae games are phenomenal
Mega drive mini has it.
Thank you Dave for all your contributions to Gamesack over the years. You will be missed.
Thanks Dave.
The shows you guys made was amazing. The only true source of good information about this hobby of playing older games. Hope your plans all come to fruition.
That frame stuck for .01 seconds and i said, yep, he's coming back for snatcher... Did not disappoint.
Another turning point, a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the sack, directs you where to go
I'll miss you, Dave, you are my favorite game-sacker ever :.(
Dave, thank you for all those years of hosting the show. you did an awesome job! best of luck in your future endeavours
Thanks for all the shows Dave! Gonna miss you man. I hope you come back and guest star every once in a while.
When Thanos snaps, 50% of Game Sack is lost. Thanks Dave!
He said he really enjoys gamesack, so i hope he comes back sometime in the future
I always watch your show while I am working at night.
Your show gives me a good time visiting all retro game. Good luck, Dave.
I love you, boys!
Olá, eu também sou brasileiro e acompanho o GameSack a muitos anos. Legal saber que não sou o único brasileiro aqui, kkkk...
Sad, but life moves on... Thank very much, Dave, for all these years!
@@d89terminator80 Esses caras são muito bons! Mesmo nos primeiros vídeos, com uma produção mais simples, o conteúdo sempre fez a diferença.
@Josh Jacobs Thank you, Josh!
Rs
Wasn't surprised at the ending of Joe goodbye to Dave but the part where Dave came back to take one last look at the room and switch off the light really got me.
At least there wasn't much Captain Marvel in this episode.
Yesterday I watched Avengers which had some teary momments. When I got home it turned out my dog passed away of old age. I've got really teary. And now Dave...Take care. And thank You Dave. Good Luck for Joe.
Dave your personality is so incredibly sincere and positive and i truly appreciate what you've contributed to this channel and my free time.
Just want to say game sack videos will always put a smile to my face. I watch you guys more than other game channels. Want to thank you guys for the joys and happiness you've brought to me. Thank you.
