Great Flight buddy. That one seems to cook pretty good through the sky. I built my first 700 this weekend, the Raw Piuma. I am such a huge fan of SAB and i love the slow, big air, slow 3d stuff. My maiden was about an hour ago and she did great, was just a hover and small circles but was nervous as heck, my thumbs were shaking. My headspeed was at 1050 with 18t pinion and 115 tails(SAB Brand). HW 120A ESC Egodrift 4025 1050 kv Pulse 5300 6s Spirit gt fbl Torq mini servos on cyclic(used raw 580 mounts) and full size on tail. Receiver is just 1 SRXL2. Tried using DSMX sats with it but spirit doesnt allow them to mingle like IKON does. So gonna get another SRXL2 and just run those 2. Using the TX16S but can't seem to get a straight answer on a good small receiver. Next up after i recoup from all this spending will be a conversion to RAW 700 canopy and black skids. Thanks for all the great videos. Take care. -Mike
Hi kaidok, congrats on the successful maiden of your new Raw Piuma ( awesome heli ) sounds like you have great setup. I know how you feel when you lift off a new heli I still get kinda sick on maiden day there’s so much running thru your head on what terrifying thing could happen let alone lifting off your first 700 class heli…it’s a awesome achievement! Sorry I can’t help with your TX16S satellite options as I have no knowledge of the radio you’re using. Like to add one more thing welcome to the big leagues not many of us 700 pilots around
@@helithunder56 Thank you, and yes i too know that sick feeling. :) It's fine on the receiver i believe i have decided either on the RP3-H new one from RadioMaster(if i can figure how to wire it) or just running another SRXL2 for safety backup. Honestly and this is probably my ignorance but i'm not sure why i would need another reciever because been flying with one SRXL2 on 400 forever but hit the 700 and that's all i hear. I'm guessing it's mainly because of the destruction factor if it fails.
With any heli larger than a 380 class heli you need a reciever plus a satellite or 2 satellites for added diversity so you don’t lose control of your heli.
@@helithunder56 That explanation made more sense to me then what anyone else has said, their comment was mostly " it's just needed" lol! Thank ya. Have a great one.

That’s the frustrating part of most answers you get they are usually half answers that really don’t help much.
