Good to see you reviewing helis again. I did a detailed comparison with the original V911 flybar that may help people choose which one is best for them. Seen it one of the first few moments R/C Saylors and I had, ahahahahahahahh It is what Fueled my desire to be a flyer hahahahahah...always a blast to see again
I have at least a dozen flights on my v911s now and no glitches flys good. The only issue I encountered for the first few flights was it liked to yank backard after letting off the throttle. Trimmed it a little bit and stopped doing it after a few more flights. I have crashed about 3 times with no issues. For the money it's worth a shot. They fly very well in my opinion. Super fun. I picked up one with 2 batteries for 48$ couldn't beat it. Now I'm wacking my budget over Planes and flying the local ballfield after work. Thanks for the inspiration and the information 👍👌
That’s a pretty impressive heli for just under $40. I saw another review where they flew it with no cutting out issues and also that hover button did absolutely nothing as well. Great review as always!
Glad to know we aren't the only ones where that didn't work. I'm happy to hear they didn't have any cutting out issues. Wish ours didn't to be honest, as I was really looking forward to a successful flight with this. Happy Flying RTR :-)
TheRcSaylors That is a bummer when stuff like that happens. I plan on adding this to my fleet and when I do I will definitely let you know if I have any cutting out issues.
I've gotten so much mixed feedback on this one. Some people say they haven't seen this issue at all, others say they have. I think it's a QC issue. I'm keeping mine for a bit regardless ;-) Just brings back great memories!

I also have the 977 and 955 knock on wood all have been good.
Funny! I did balsa gliders, then foam flying wings (electric both) but little gyro-coptors (with icky infra-red) were what we got back into RC with. Our dog went absolutely nuts with them! Problem was he was part lab, much bigger than Popeye, and he could destroy one in the blink of an eye! Made it exciting though!!
It wasn't until you started hitting the upper right shoulder button "Hover debugging keys" in which you admitted instructions failed to clarify what exactly button was for that the V911S began cutting off. I would say that a transmitter issue caused this temporary loss of power. In order to give the V911s a fair shake more flight time would be needed to see if this was a recurring issue. I know of several other very experienced RC Pilots on UA-cam who have repeatedly flown their V911s with no problems whatsoever and I am also ready to purchase one at this point. So in conclusion without knowing exactly what caused your demo to cut out twice would be unfair to pass judgement on the helicopter itself. After all we are dealing with "Wireless" and brief interference issues are always a possibility at any range.
I remember reading about the WL Toys dropping out like that. I think the transmitter antenna was bunched up in the case. You could take the transmitter apart and just make sure the wire is straight. If it's curled up you get a weird radiation pattern probably with big dead spots. Either put it on the plastic part sticking up or put it horizontal. Just a suggestion. Good review, the Heli looks good. I loved my V911 (with flybar) I do remember mine cutting out once or twice but I only flew it very close in so it wasn't worth tracking down the problem.
I'll definitely do that Greg, that's a good tip! Thank you :-) That's worth a few minutes to take a look for sure. Love the V911, really wish I still had that one. I don't know what I ever did with it!
"Lost throttle". Re position antennae on heli and TX. I threaded it out if the canopy straight up, the same with the TX. I drilled a small hole and threaded the antennae through the hole.
I picked up one of these last year, and have a few flights on it. I haven't had any issues with throttle cut-out, and so far, it's been a decent little heli for learning with. I paid about $32 for mine, though when I looked recently, it was up to about $45.
Hi Nate and Abby I am really jealous over weather you still getting in the USA. Our weather is going into Autumn ,it rained all day yesterday in north west England.I have started wearing a fleece .So have a nice day
I just purchased my first RC. Base on your review you were spot on with the review. Thank you for being open and truthful in your reviews. I love both your channels. I will be purchase more RC’s. I think I will bye this chopper to learn sharpen my skills. Keep up the excellent work👍👍
I know it is currently unavailable, but you might want to check this heli out as well - goo.gl/w8f5oC Thanks a lot for watching both our channels Michael :-) That's really awesome of you! Here is our video on the above linked helicopter - ua-cam.com/video/y3DC9p1ZTqk/v-deo.html
I've watched another review video on this and it cut out once in that video , it does look like there might be some kind of an issue with it , I guess we'll have to wait and see . The v911 is what got me started in this hobby and I've been eyeing this heli , I'll probably go ahead and buy it anyway , it's not a big deal to me. I seem to remember something about breaking in brushed motors on helicopters , simply letting them sit on the ground with the motors running slowly through a battery charge or two , I don't know maybe that is the problem but after a couple flights if that's the problem it should be fine !!!
Hey Ronnie! Thanks for the input here. Seems like a QC issue with this, and maybe more people are having good luck with theirs than bad luck. Glad to know we aren't the only ones though. I'll try that, letting the brushed motors "break in" so to speak. Makes sense! Nothing in the instructions about that sadly.
I’d personally lean towards the Blade 70s you reviewed last month. It may cost at least twice as much as this WLToys version, but it comes from a much more reputable company, has SAFE flight stabilization, and can be delivered within days, rather than the WEEKS it takes for most WLToys packages!
@ RCSaylors: Thank you again for another great video. You save us money, give good reviews, and also are family-friendly. Appreciate all the efforts! I've had a RC helicopter similar to the one you tested and it did the same thing. Pretty frustrating.
Maybe there is just something about helicopters in this size / price point. Interesting. Thanks so much for that too Jay, that really means a lot to us!! Happy Flying my friend :-)
I imagine this little heli suffers the same issue the XK 100 Falcon did. When using high rates it heats up the main motor causing the heli to loose power and fall to the ground. It needs a brushless main motor like the XK 110 has.
I love your honest reviews. The review for the syma x8 pro saved me some money not to mention a butt load of disappointment. But i did like the syma x8c. Thanks again.
Good video. This model Heli has a barometer installed for altitude hold. When it is given forward stick input the faster movement of the blades and the helicopter itself, tends to lower the barometric pressure around the blades, thus lowering barometric pressure under the blades and moving the Heli in a downward direction. This may be the reason for the tendency of the Heli to drop a little lower when in forward flight. Just take this into account and transition to forward flight at a higher altitude. Anyways....
The WL Toys V911S appears to be the same as the V988; it uses the EXACT same motor and battery. I recently purchased a V988, which flew Excellent for 3 days, then the motor would overheat and quickly descend to the ground (but more slowly than yours). I also purchased 2 V988 helicopters, which use the same motor. One was defective on arrival (I later found out it was a bad motor), the other one flew Excellent for several weeks (with lots of use) then the motor also overheated and slowly descended. It appears that WL Toys makes Excellent helicopters but has quality issues with their brushed motors.
Very odd, but also glad to know we aren't alone here. Thanks for this extremely helpful and constructive comment. It's helped me and anyone else reading this, it should come in very handy. Happy Flying my friend!
Ok, ok, ok (Joe Pecci voice) I have received another 911S & it also suffers from reception probs, like Nates. Seems the antenna wire sits right above the circuit board & after carefully bending it to side ala old 911 , the prob. so far has stopped. Dont worry. :)
V911 was flybarred and tail would lose trim as battery went down, but it was a great little helicopter. I still have one that is still flying. I will probably pick up one of these even though I have several similar ones.
Yes I forgot about the tail losing trim as the battery gets low, but other than that it was so awesome :-) At least that's how I remember it now ;-) Happy Flying James!
This is now $57.74. I have the original V911 with the flybar. Once, I flew it way too high and the wind caught it and carried it away. I thought it was gone forever after looking all around my neighborhood for it. The next day, I went for a walk, and it was just sitting a couple feet from the road 2 blocks away from my house, LOL.
Hey guys it’s been awhile since I’ve commented but I always watch your videos, I do remember the v911 being one of your first videos back in the day, congrats on your channel growth I need to upload some more vids myself, I’m just so excited that towerhobbies is now carrying the eflite and blade helicopters I like helis more than drones glade to see you reviewing helis again great video as always!!I think it may be a battery issue you may have a defective battery that’s happened to me before with one of my helis and I changed the battery with a fresh new one and no more issues
Hey Ben! It's great to hear from you :-) Yes, with the merge of TowerHobbies (Hobbico) and Horizon Hobbies, it's great to see them carrying each other's products. Happy Flying my friend!
I noticed that every time you switched to the higher rate it kept cutting out. Maybe you are right about the overheating issue. Too much power to the motor makes it overheat. Makes sense, lol! Awesome videos as always guys! Thanks! 👍😁
Definitely weird. I love helicopters as well, but would definitely give pause before buying. Still love your guts honesty. Haven’t made a comment for a long time but still a loyal watcher! Still loving and having a great time with my Cheerson Cheer! Hope your both doing great!
Awesome!! SO glad you are flying the Cheer and liking it. So many people gave that a hard time because we compared it to the Spark, sort of. I love the Cheer! Glad to hear from you too, and it's good to know you're still around :-) Happy Flying! Be sure to chime in more often!
Just watched your review on the V911S Unfortunately I have already purchased one and am eagerly awaiting its delivery. However seeing it fall out of the sky twice has me somewhat concerned. I will message you again to let you know how mine performs. Keep up the good work best regards Mark 😎👍
Just a thought on your flight where it cut out twice couldn't really tell but from my point watching the video could you have possibly got a slight bit of signal interference going through the chain link fence and the wire.... Especially in the case of that chain link being like a grid ..... Looked like it was flying fine once you were away from it... Just a thought like I said from the TV viewing point each time you fell out of the sky it looked like you were close to the chain link fence flying around it....
Just want to say I really enjoy your videos I've never flown a rc plane or helicopter and even with a few issues with the v911 for 40 dollars it's cheap enough to learn the basic controls and if I completely destroy it like I know I'm going to I'm only out 40 bucks but thanks for the videos
It seemed to cut out in almost the exact same spot. My suspicion is that the metal fence may have had something to do with it. Maybe reflection, scattering or similar of the signal. The fence being chain link would act like a faraday cage, especially as its metal posts are in the ground. Just a theory, my ham callsign is 2E0XVS from the UK
Hi Nate, Abby. Popeye too. I had a couple of these V911 helios. They were very, very twitchy. The linkage was iffy and I had too much trouble. I gave up. Paid $40 back then. Guess they've improved em quite a bit. And. YES. YES. I'm ordering another. Lots of people are nodding these up. Twin motor power. Bigger bats, etc. I just hope I can get this one to fly. Or maybe get the V912? Whatcha think?
Brushed motor needs to be broken in, hence the overheating problem. Remove the blades and let it run above idle for 3~5 minutes. Relocate the TX antennae outside the transmitter by boring a small hole and stick the antennae through.
This just gets more people introduced into the hobby. Just a stepping stone to greater things! Be grateful these types of RCs exist now, or the hobby might have ended, or dried up years ago! 👍😁😎⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors The hobby is dried up right now everyone's flying drones it's completely opposite of what the marketing geniuses have come up with The hobby was fine the way it was for the last 50 years....
nice review! it might have caught a signal from another 2.4gz source somewhere...ya never can really tell... bet this would be a truly better blast with an aio stickytaped to the fc board with the canopy off...with a adapter cable powering the aio as well as the copter... 25mw might get up to 5min flytime as everything runs off the main lipo... plus with the canopy off that means more wind can cool the moto/fc board plus keep the aio cool! might have to grab one and do the fpv thang with it!
Hey guys!! I know it's not a great race drone but banggood has an eachine tyro for 99 bucks and it's full acro, brushless, ECT ECT. It's a great steal for beginner fpv guys and girls!! Maybe we can get a review of it from yall
🌈🌈🌈🌈Fantastic guys! have the V911S and it’s never cut out, one thing I do know from experience is the more you switch out batteries (receiver OR transmitter), the connections can get worn - reckon it was something simple 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Have you tried the Eachine E119?? 😎
I have the old version of WLToys v911, I think, this can be the first first version. Even the battery had strange connection. I can't fly it anymore, cause I can't buy new battery, nowhere on stock. The helicopter is out of "gas", sort to speak. I bought this v911s helicopter. I like it, but it flies completly different, it's more difficult to fly it. No flybar makes huge difference. I don't recomend it as first copter, but it is cool. No strange falling of the sky thing. Actually I've never seen it falling of the sky, on any other yt movie. Maybe you've had some broken one. Overheatting may be the cause, I fly it at home, and the engines are very hot at the end of the battery. I do recomend this copter, only not to the beginners. IMO people, who wanna start this hobby, should start with small, cheap quadrocopters. Something like Eachine 010/FuryBee F36/JJRC H36. Cool little thing, gives a lot of fun, it does, what it should, teaches basics.
I have a micro Blade that cuts out exactly same way...I found that sometimes it seemed the battery plug would not make connection ending in a lame duck cutout. After lots of troubleshooting , it was all I could not eliminate as the cause..This V911 is so much like the Blade its amazing...only big difference is the larger battery on the V911...and probably the ability to do full 3D (which I've never done) utilizing the transmitter settings. The V911 , even with the rare cutout issue , is still a great looking bargain and seems to fly well. I wonder if parts are available or is it just pretty much disposable if anything breaks
Good morning Saylors! I have heard that chain link fencing can act like an antenna for different frequencies & have even heard that it can act like a RF "sponge" and cause problems. I noticed that the heli dropped out both times while flying close to the fence, but seemed to fly well when it was further away from the fence. You may want to test this theory in a fenceless area, my friends! Another honest & great review! Take great care! JP
Very good though John! You may be on to something. I hope that is not the case as this fence is new to the club. We certainly don't want more drop outs like this!
I was thinking pretty much the same: so much metal nearby that might have caused, or at least contributed to, signal issues. I’m no expert on the topic, but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the building, picnic shelter, and fence make for quite a noisy RF echo chamber in between. At least you guys were able to rule out the usual suspects of low voltage and overheating. 🙂
@@chadpollman7970 Great point about the possibility that both the metal canopy area and the fence combined, may add to the problem. Also, Nate's transmitter was under the shade of the canopy, I think, which placed the radio tx, between it & the metal fencing. JP
@@TheRcSaylors Eh Come to think about it I have a phoenix ($19) 4 channel actually did same (Cut out dropped) Once away from Carport and Fence It never happened again. Even as I watched this video I never gave it a second thought until I read Poen`s comment.
Noted the high voltage/ current power transmission towers in the background ... these stuff - up the throttle control in both my choppers when windy ( 5mph will do it ) . Hope this helps.
I have a Sky Rover which I got at Wal-Mart that's not that great, it's a large outdoor helicopter. It really doesn't have forward and reverse thrust too good. Does okay, I reckon, inside - I ain't got much room. Every now and again I would charge it and play around with it. But I'd rather stick with my Deadbolt and soon in the future, my Cajun Comander.
@@TheRcSaylors I think so too! Was thinking about the FT011, then saw you guys and others going on shore and even snow boating. I changed my mind - something that could be used year round instead of seasonal makes more sense for a tight budget.
No god damn way that's a beginner heli. That thing is tiny, the smaller the harder control. 90% of these drone pilots wouldn't last 30 seconds with a real RC Heli.
Update & what a nice flyer, guys. This 6axis gyro & no flybar makes it faster & more forgiving than the regular v911. So far no probs.with tx ( sorry about your ), and would you know if the v977 tx would bind with it. ?
Why do you give a negative review of this product it seems really cool. I think that it is the temperature because 90C is over the top when it comes to the temperature. It would be no prob at my place because I live in 🇳🇿 New Zealand. Still I think you make great reviews of rc products and I love your videos, honesty and occasional sense of humour pls keep up the great videos I will always love your channel. I think you mean’t that you wouldn’t recommend this in your area which is totally understandable because of your climate.👍
Hi do u have any idea if this heli can be flown with the other WL Toys 4ch transmitter? I already have one from V912, i’m planning to get the V911S BNF version. Plus i don’t really like the standard transmitter from V911 and V911S.
yeah it could well be true as well because it's using the common 2.4GHZ frequency range which the majority of our mobile phones transmits for a gps signal and portable internet signal which can very much (under certain circumstances) interfere with it's current transmitter signal.
joe girty I am on that also May not have been construction just wifi or ham radio or just a fluke signal from another RC that bumps the signal for a moment
Hi man, how are you? I have one question for you? My wl v911s transmitter was broke, and i need to buy new one. But i thought, can i bind wl v911s with xk transmiterr for xk helikopters with 6 chanels, because they are same factory?
Abby needs to beat you with your Taranis until you start binding it to some of these compatible toy quads yo. ;) I'm a jumper man myself but Taranis makes a fine transmitter and I wish I had bought my tx sooner..
"Hover debugging key" sounds a bit like a calibration button possibly for the throttle midpoint/hover setting. But I'm not a heli person. ( _we reached a separation agreement a couple of years back which says that I don't fly them, they won't crash_ ) so what would I know
Maybe they meant for it to be an emergency stop function (even though it didn’t actually do that)? Or perhaps gyro calibration? Personally, when it comes to helicopters, I consider hovering to be a desirable feature, not something I want to debug. 😉
Great V911s video guys!!! If I am wrong I apologizes. I think you might of caused your own problem (died during flight) and the poorly written manual translated from Chinese isn't helpful either. You said you pressed the right button with is "Hover Debugging" mode. You cannot do that while in flight. That is used for writing trim settings to non-volatile memory, it reboots the board. The idea is you get it trimmed for a stable hover, land, then use the right button in combination with the left button to write your trims to memory. When done correctly, the display should show your new trim settings are now centered. The manual is not helpful and it's hard to explain. Watch this video, turn on CC translation to English....and have a laugh at the translations. ua-cam.com/video/aqeYklJIoGo/v-deo.html
Very nice & prob.the next one. Long ways till Christmas for that bigger Blade ( just nod yes, pls 😉 ) and just got the v930 . Oh, what fun. Im all flybarless for 2019. A goal.
Sounds like a really great goal David! Love hearing progress success like that. Please, do a follow up comment if you hit flybarless!! (or just any time, always happy to hear from ya).
You lost control, it may because you push the right-side button. That button is for you to reset the center of the helicopter. When you push it, after a few mins. you can adjust it with the buttons near the sticks. Then you should land the helicopter. And push the button again. Let It save the center setting. If you just push the right-side button. After a few mins. It will cut off.
Having a v911s on order I've watched several reviews of this helicopter. Yours is the only one I've seen behave like that. Hopefully it was just a glitch with yours.
Yeah I'm hoping so too. Sounds like a lot of people have had great success with theirs. I'm sure you'll fly yours and really enjoy it barnstormer! Happy Flying my friend!
Just wanted to add, SOME people commenting have said theirs have issues like this and there is another UA-camr with a similar range issue. Maybe just hit and miss on QC here.
I fly Oxy Helis. They rip. I ordered this for a flakey student and ended up flying it myself Far cry from $5-600 machines. Unreal simulator transition to future ATM drain machines later
We used to fly the heck out of those! So much fun!!! And when we broke them we returned them to Walmart and got a new one. Rc heli with a warranty and crash insurance! Man we had so much fun with those!
hi, can I ask you a question? one of my v911s just bank to the left today. the last time I played was okay. I've been trying to compare the two I own (one bought as BNF), but fail to find anything wrong. any help? I also read something about reinitiate tx and the chop, how to do it? TIA
Might not have been heat, source of radio interference? Possibly for a moment as long as it started back up and continues to fly well. I disagree. If 911s went down stayed down YES like you I`d be disappointed also. A little Mishap (unexplained) I say be ok for starters...Still AWESOME CONTENT and REVIEW great job. I am adding even if a Drone, Boat, Car, Truck or cycle did same hiccup I still say it is good, provided it responded in the same fashion.
Just got a v911s to fly while awaiting banggood to do something about my k110 thats defective. The v911s wont and cant Bind to controller and wont stop beeping, Ive tried everything and getting no help from anyone. IDK what to do. One thing is for sure I will never buy anything "RC" again. Im done with all the crazy BS with NO customer service
I had one of those before couple of years ago I was so damn excited to play with it that when I played with it outside it was winter and I landed it in the snow and it fried everything in it I was so bummed. But for sure a must get

Probably Motor abuse and using too much battery ampere caused motor fail
sawajiri100 what connector type is on the battery? Is it a molex?
Ok, ok, ok (Joe Pecci voice) I have received another 911S & it also suffers from reception probs, like Nates. Seems the antenna wire sits right above the circuit board & after carefully bending it to side ala old 911 , the prob. so far has stopped. Dont worry. :)
V911 was flybarred and tail would lose trim as battery went down, but it was a great little helicopter. I still have one that is still flying. I will probably pick up one of these even though I have several similar ones.
Yes I forgot about the tail losing trim as the battery gets low, but other than that it was so awesome :-) At least that's how I remember it now ;-) Happy Flying James!
just to mention re crashes , the top right button is only for calibration, and has a 3 second process...
Thanks! 👍😁
Very odd that it was doing that. A shame too because it flee so well. Thanks for tuning in!
My first was Walkera but found the best for beginners was the Blade helicopters like the blade 120.
Just watched your review on the V911S
Unfortunately I have already purchased one and am eagerly awaiting its delivery. However seeing it fall out of the sky twice has me somewhat concerned. I will message you again to let you know how mine performs. Keep up the good work best regards Mark 😎👍
Could be an EMI issue m not sure. I have one on the way. I'll inquire if I encounter the same issue. Thanks for the review as always. 👍
We've never really experienced anything like this before. Hope your flights go well! 👍😁😎⚓
@@TheRcSaylors I hope so too. appreciate it! Have a great Thanksgiving guy's!
Thanks for an honest review.....Rare these days.....Glad I found you guys....Keep it up !!!!
Popeye carbed up on the french fry. I had a tiny Blade like this. Being a bachelor, decided to start my hover training in the living room..........
Hover training in the living room.. with a drone and prop guards maybe could work. With a heli, better protect your TV!! :-)
Love the old v911 had fly bar .
0 challenge end of the hobby instant gratification This world is ending
That would be really fun :-) Honestly can't beat the price, so I might do that with mine too. Canopy off, camera on. Let's do it!
I love RC helicopters
You're right! It's heli fast!
Thanks so much for another heli review guys, can't wait until you show the higher end ones Nate!
I’m a cheap skate and I buy a lot of the budget helicopters and they have funny flukes and do cut out on occasion. Strange but true
Really enjoy your videos, thanks for doing them.
Hey guys!! I know it's not a great race drone but banggood has an eachine tyro for 99 bucks and it's full acro, brushless, ECT ECT. It's a great steal for beginner fpv guys and girls!! Maybe we can get a review of it from yall
We will definitely have to check that out :-) Thanks for the heads up!
🌈🌈🌈🌈Fantastic guys! have the V911S and it’s never cut out, one thing I do know from experience is the more you switch out batteries (receiver OR transmitter), the connections can get worn - reckon it was something simple 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Have you tried the Eachine E119?? 😎
Liked for the Heli. I love my xk110
Subscribed for honest contents.
Watch every of your videos since then. Became a fan of Popeye too
😅Keep it up! 👍
Thank you so much tay :-)
It’s the chain-link-geo-fence!
Chain link geo fence, lol!!!
TheRcSaylors it DID fall right over the fence, even hitting it the second time!
You are absolutely right! You could be 100% right about that fence. :-(
Chris Crawford Brilliant! Bravo! 👏😂
I think the v911 is a great flying helicopter
JP
RF interference from the fence was discussed before it was installed. This is why its behind the flight line and not used at the flight stand.
@@TheRcSaylors Eh Come to think about it I have a phoenix ($19) 4 channel actually did same (Cut out dropped) Once away from Carport and Fence It never happened again. Even as I watched this video I never gave it a second thought until I read Poen`s comment.
Its a vortex created by it's own blade causing stalls on high rate. The servo too much sensitive in your input. Rate one is enough.
Woohoo a helicopter!! 👏 🚁
:-)
Noted the high voltage/ current power transmission towers in the background ... these stuff - up the throttle control in both my choppers when windy ( 5mph will do it ) .
Hope this helps.
It is possible, though we’ve flown hundreds of things here without that being a problem.
YES!! Another Cajun Commander owner!!!! Or at least soon to be owner :-) You're going to LOVE that thing!!
Okay it's cool and cheap. Really can't go wrong.
possible radio interference from construction radios?
Your friend flew his airplane near the space shuttle? That's wild.
yeah it could well be true as well because it's using the common 2.4GHZ frequency range which the majority of our mobile phones transmits for a gps signal and portable internet signal which can very much (under certain circumstances) interfere with it's current transmitter signal.
O.k.
That was also my suspicion.
joe girty I am on that also May not have been construction just wifi or ham radio or just a fluke signal from another RC that bumps the signal for a moment
Hi man, how are you? I have one question for you? My wl v911s transmitter was broke, and i need to buy new one. But i thought, can i bind wl v911s with xk transmiterr for xk helikopters with 6 chanels, because they are same factory?
Looks a lot like the xk k110 (I forget what that itself was based on) but fixed pitch. I'm tempted to pick this up to fly indoors but not sure.
Nice Video !! as always
Thank you so much!
I'm just learning to fly a helicopter using the RF9 simulator; have ever reviewed the simulators for beginners?
Abby needs to beat you with your Taranis until you start binding it to some of these compatible toy quads yo. ;) I'm a jumper man myself but Taranis makes a fine transmitter and I wish I had bought my tx sooner..
"Hover debugging key" sounds a bit like a calibration button possibly for the throttle midpoint/hover setting. But I'm not a heli person. ( _we reached a separation agreement a couple of years back which says that I don't fly them, they won't crash_ ) so what would I know
Hahaha, a separation agreement with helis :-) That's funny!!!
Maybe they meant for it to be an emergency stop function (even though it didn’t actually do that)? Or perhaps gyro calibration?
Personally, when it comes to helicopters, I consider hovering to be a desirable feature, not something I want to debug. 😉
that is exactly what debugging/calibration is once set "Proper Way" need for trimming is no longer needed.
That looks collective pitch.
It's a cp helicopter... you can fly upside down after 50 percent throttle it gives upward thrust
Saw your article in ama magazine, way to go!!!!
Thank you very much Steven :-)
I have about every drone and helicopter you have recommended. Thanks. What ever happened to xiro, any ideas
Another amazing vid
Thanks Luke!!
Was about to pull the trigger on this, just as it fell out of the sky... Now I'm conflicted...
Sorry Mikko!! It still flies really well, when it's not plummeting out of the sky ;-)
I fly Oxy Helis. They rip. I ordered this for a flakey student and ended up flying it myself Far cry from $5-600 machines. Unreal simulator transition to future ATM drain machines later
Remember them Airhogs helicopters?? I musta bought 20 of them things! ..lol
I do :-) You'd have to pump them up. So much fun!!
We used to fly the heck out of those! So much fun!!! And when we broke them we returned them to Walmart and got a new one. Rc heli with a warranty and crash insurance! Man we had so much fun with those!
9:57 there is a almost perfectly square cloud in the background !!!
hi, can I ask you a question? one of my v911s just bank to the left today. the last time I played was okay. I've been trying to compare the two I own (one bought as BNF), but fail to find anything wrong. any help? I also read something about reinitiate tx and the chop, how to do it? TIA
I know this video is kinda old but can this heli fly upside down
Nice review
Flybar helis suck outside because the flybar will get blown around which results in non optimal control and worse
Thank you for your review.much appreciated. Hey popeye
Popeye says you are welcome Mary! Thanks for watching!
Sometimes sun rays can mess with transmissions.
Yes you are correct. Could have been the case here.
Real good to see you review and fly a helicopter 👍😎
On the lookout for a few more!
@@TheRcSaylors that sounds good. 😎❗
Bought one a few months ago....it also has issues with the controller even in 2020
Love your vids
Thanks!!
I hope i can have that heli even with issue. Because i cant afford to buy new heli. I just bought second hand and defected 😢
It might be the hov. debug you engaged
amazing
:-)
I wonder if it had something todo with the first shoulder button you pushed.
It is possible, though I have checked and that button doesn't seem to have a function.
I had one of those before couple of years ago I was so damn excited to play with it that when I played with it outside it was winter and I landed it in the snow and it fried everything in it I was so bummed. But for sure a must get
It did cut out at the exact same spot, height etc both times, which is weird. Was battery, casing hot either time?
Nothing felt hot at all. Seemed more like a signal cutting out issue.
U guys might wanna try VISUO XS812 its really awesome it has gps and 15 minutes flight time for 100 dollars
We will definitely have to check that out!
Early squad where you guys at (:
