Thank you for sharing this video. I’m sorry about your brother. I lost my older son recently. His brother and I still have daily struggles with his passing so we feel your loss. 🙏🏼
Thank you for posting up all of that info and insight on flying the Vision jet, transition, insurance and comparisons with other aircraft, very valuable.
I view you as a very lucky man……I’ve got a few years on you, maybe 10…..I wish I would have listened to my father “Work with your mind, not your back, my bottom disc are beginning to collapse and crack. At one time a friend said he was training and that he would take me up…….un fortunately I went to Vegas to help my father build homes. I myself built or I should say completed over 200 homes. I was assistant superintendent, which means when all “Ruff inspections were completed i would take over. So from frame to roof, stucco, drywall, about 8 more subs including landscape , flooring and final walk. 4 incidents later and it’s very hard to walk sometimes. If I had listened to my father I would have been a sales agent, made a ton of money, bought a G2+ and had a blast! Congratulations my friend, your living my alternate life!
captivating video, start to finish - I love the Vision Jet by virtue of its representation in Microsoft Flight Simulator and it's sweet to see the real deal. lots of videos out there highlight the Vision Jet, but yours kept me entertained for every minute. happy to subscribe! keep it up man
Beautiful airplane, how about showing us the panel when you are doing your startup. We see fingers moving, but would like to see what they are touching
Great tribute to your brother, just an FYI, once you reserve a tail number it is your until you transfer it to your airplane or you don't renew it after 12 months. FAA sends reminders. Good luck!
New to your channel. I'm glad the opening music is better than the previous (newer) video. So I assume you rotate it. Beautiful plane! I got an intro to it when Citation Max upgraded fr;om his (I think) SR-22 to the jet. I love the way it flies, on camera, anyway. I prefer what you showed here, a bit of preflight planning, startup, and only radio and ambient sound - your audio and video are well set up. I watch at 1.5x speed due to my attention span. I'll check back and see about subbing. I'll look for prior videos to see if you 'splain who you are, what kind of flying you/your company do/does, etc. Maybe your pilot history as well. I like that stuff.
This was very cool man! I’m flying at UVU right now! It’s awesome to see you flying out of there too. I’ll definitely be following along. It’s a small world, I’m sure we’ll cross paths at some point!
Yo what cameras you using. Great clean video great talking points. Keep posting more. Landing videos and takes offs are my favorites. Also maybe do a video on how to fully start the jet
New subscriber here, very nice vision jet, thanks so much for all the info haven’t started flying yet, but the vision jet is for sure the dream plane, gunna have to settle for a v tail bonanza for now
Awesome video! Thanks for posting. I was wondering, does anyone charter vision jets? Could you yourself start chartering your jet out if you wanted? I wonder how difficult it would be to find customers.
Regulations are extremely strict on charters especially with owners so the short answer is no I can’t charter. There is a group called verijet that specializes in VJ charters though
Being in an aisle with other hangars there, I get worried you'll either have a hangar neighbor start to pull into your alley and block you, or someone behind you who is quicker wants out and you're blocking them. Why not taxi out of the alleyway first, and then perform all your checklists and stuff once you're not in the alleyway?
I mostly fly with 1 or 2 persons onboard, including myself. I have always topped off my plane when I return, and not worried about weight. I there any issues that I have not considered about storage of the jet with full tanks?
Are you from Sacramento? I lived there for 7 years….I went to Sierra Oaks Elementary, Jonas Salk JR. (I think it’s something different now… Then my freshman and sophomore years at Encina High…..
Wanting to learn and get my pilots license. There is a Cirrus instructor at my local airport. What do you recommend for people wanting to learn to fly and wanting to fly a SR-22 to a Vision Jet?
I didn't know we have a vision jet in PVU haha. I fly Airbus out of PVU and I love working here. Definitely not an everyday easy airport to fly into as a big jet.
What line of work can I try getting into that could let me afford this kind of lifestyle? I’m going to college for computer science, but I don’t understand how even a 100k salary can afford a jet like this
Please take this as constructive criticism. You use umm way to much. You don't have to fill every second with something. Other than that, I like your channel so far.
23:00 It's a pity that you have such a negative opinion about flight simulators and people for whom it is a hobby. ): There's a pretty good Vision Jet in MSFS. Its owners are probably your viewers or potential viewers. Maybe you should give Flight FX's SF50 Vision Jet G2 a chance in Microsoft Flight Simulator? (;
Take a look at Swiss001 and Austin Meyers videos on the VJ. They had a race that was beyond rigged and then Austin made a video about why the VJ was so slow that had a very weird energy behind it. It’s created a weird movement around making fun of the VJ in the flight sim world that doesn’t have much merit and that’s where my frustration comes from. I got into aviation through flight sim and I still love the community behind it. What I hate is people making videos that “inform” others on why the vision jet is such a bad airplane and they base the entirety of their knowledge off of how it flies in MSFS or Xplane. I hope that clears that up.
@@StephenMongie As you probably know, Swiss001 and Austin Meyers are not the best representation of the flight sim community. (; There are tons of people who are very happy with the Vision Jet in MSFS, including its performance and especially how pleasant it is to fly. Is there any chance you could test Vision Jet in MSFS and let us know what you think? Peace! (:
As a flight instructor I’ve found that folks that have made the jump from sims to real aircraft have a good feel for the controls. They tend to be very comfortable and in control. Of course they still need time to adjust to the real world feel for an airplane, but the foundation is there. I enjoy my flights with sim folk 🤙🏾
Great vid, perfect music. Honoring your brother … very touching. From a fellow G2+ owner and pilot.

Thank you for your videos.
👍 on your brothers memorial.
I really enjoyed the video. Condolences to you and your family. I'm subscribed.
Nice ride. I just picked up my G7 from TN early May. Nice transition from my SR G2. One day I hope to be a big boy with a Visjon Jet
Nice video, great music. Can’t wait to see your future videos, I’m already subscribed.
First time here and I am very impressed with you video. Thank you sir and God bless you and your family.

Nice plane. Great vid.
Nice! I hope to catch you flying into PVU sometime!
Love and respect for your bro
What a Gorgeous Jet 🤙
Love it bug! We loved the video!
Nice paint scheme
Nice flight. I used to fly a Cessna 340 and know what you mean about training keeping insurance costs down
Great video!

We all start somewhere, before you know it you’ll be in the flight levels!
Can you do a vid on the start up sequence for the vision jet?
When you get the runway in sight it would be nice if you added an arrow on the screen pointing out runway. Enjoy videos thanks.
It's cool to watch. I can't even fly a kite
Could you please show us how you flight plan?
As long as it got good flight deck views I’m happy 🎉

Entering flight plan and explaining the process during flight like FLC HDG
Like to see approaches and the button pushing
Hey Stephen! I would love to see the In-flight weather radar! Not the XM-radar..
You’ve got it

Thank you for the information,

The circling NA for 31 is a killer in the winter! I don’t know how you guys manage it.
How can you afford it and have you regretted not getting an Eclipse instead yet?
I just was in Hawthrone , had to get my birth certificate, nuts appraoch, should come to vegas for the FSEXPO, flying in there to HND
Great information.
Why not have a 3 or 4 point seatbelt
Great content just subd

It can’t
What you do with this plane for make money ? Or it’s just for hobby
it cost $10 to reserve a tail number
Absolutely, I live in SD, CA. Can I get the number for cirrus’s contact here!
can you take me to oshkosh please
This may sound cliche’
Time to invest in 2 or 3 other cameras, definitely need a POV
Are you a charter company - if so, what is your contact information

Yeahhhh… it’s something I need to work on. I find myself using filler words and phrases wayyy too much.
You talk too fast when getting clearance delivery. Surprised ATC hasn’t asked you to repeat your read back. Still enjoy the videos!!
Are you owner of this airplane or you rent It ? Beaty airplane :-) my wet dream. When I get rich I will buy one of this and lern to flight :D
More music please. Louder too, couldn't focus on the video without it

@@ClouDAction. I’ve been working on getting a setup for Vatsim for the future but it’s a bit of a ways out. I’ll let you know!

The music is too loud and is distracting from the video. Please less music.
