I think she threw every event cause she was tired of gymnastics. You can say whatever u want but there is a documentary she is in she stated she hated gymnastics at this point. I always loved her gymnastics though
Doubtful. You can tell her heart and competitive spirit wasn't in it anymore. E.g., the old Vanessa would have fought hard to land the dismount at the end of this routine; here, she didn't even try.....=(
Looking at Vanessa's body language, it seems as though she just wants to get the routine over with. She doesn't have the energy to even walk with confidence.
I think she was just having the worst competative day of her life! She still did enough in this quad and in the qualifying comp to be put on the team IMO
@@ChristineTheHippie not on vault. if you look at scores she was still fine on vault and contributing enough. if she was a beam specialist you could say she was crumbling, but she was still holding up on vault.

There’s no emotion in the routine. You can tell she’s had enough.
