Been a Genesis fan since 1976 and have seen every concert up to their last Turn it on Again Tour in 2007 and that's how I want to remember Phil running around and dancing and just Genesis period. Don't get me wrong his voice still sounds great but just not the same. God bless Phil and thank you for 31 years of your talent and great concerts and memories.
Many many thanks to you for making this concert available to those of us who don't have the privilege of being in that country! Thank you so much!
Much respect and admiration PHIL+GENESIS, the rest is our life for the last 50 years!!!
Just saw them in Leeds last night and I must have got some sand in my eye somewhere!!!. The musicianship was off the chart and Phil seems to be happy which makes it even better
love this band for every 50 years........a total shame that Phil cant be 100 per cent but it's still Genesis.
Thank you very much for giving me the chance to see them in what is probably their last tour. I have been a die hart fan since i was a little kid (8), till today (54), i really appreciate your effort, taping it and publishing this excellent video for everybody.
Thank you for this!!! I'm now 33 seen Genesis when I was 19 in 2007.... Still the greatest concert I have ever seen!!! I have my tix for Nov 26 in Toronto!!! I CANT WAIT!! (And dance)
Amazing, and I was there. Sad to see Phil n this state of health. Total respect for him for still doing the tour as it isn't that he needs the cash. Always been a fan but never managed to see them before. One more thing ticked off my bucket list.
Just saw them at Leeds they were amazing 🥰👏🏻
Saw them in Leeds on the 28th. Fabulous musicianship from all. Nic is a fabulous addition and a worthy successor to Phil on drums! The finest of real bands!
i loved Genesis in my twenties, but haven't kept up with them. i didn't realize they had Nic drumming, he's excellent
I wasn’t listening , I was awake dreaming 🤔 about Phil Collins 🥰 love him . High quality video ! Thank you .
What a night it was. Felt very privileged to have been there.
I have a just a hunch it won’t be the last we see of them.
what a tour this was. so glad I got to see and hear it for myself
I've been at their concert in Manchester the day after on Sept.25th...it was magic...wonderful music and Phil did his best to give us a great show...we bought the tickets before the pandemic and were in doubt whether to come from Italy or not...at the end it was the right decision and we had a very great time!
i was at this. was wonderful and emotional gig. loved it all. the atmosphere the lights, the tracklist. all brilliant
Grande Genesis!!!
THANK YOU GENESIS. THE LAST. DOMINO 🌍☀☀💕🎤🎹🎸🎵🎶💿📀👋😀💜💚❤THANK YOU TONY. MIKE. NIC. THANK PHIL 💙❤💚💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙
I was there and Phil got stronger and stronger. We all know this is the last throw of the dice, never-mind the last domino. Loved it, what an effort.
Hi thanks for the upload, I was at the opening night in Birmingham what a great show , shame not to see Phill on drums but his son was brilliant a real chip off the block and I’m sure phill is really proud of him ,followed this band for the last 43 years sad to think it was probably the last chance to see this excellent band live in person having seen them play live many many times.
Phil's singing is much improved from the 1st few concerts, which is very encouraging going forwards. 'Progressive' rock it is.
I've been a fan since 1972, and have never seen then in person. Just "Live In Video", but I have a vast collection of DVDs and CDs, etc., and I'm quite happy to have contributed to their retirement.
Thanks Cliff some fond memories from when i saw the first in 1978 Thanks
Excited to see them next week. Thank you 🙏🏼 for sharing this video 👍🏻👏🏻
Legendary legends of my life now and always ✌️ thanks guys for the music xxxx
I'm Portuguese, I live in Mozambique and I'm watching and listening my favorite band ever. Unfortunately, I won't see them again and because of that, seeing and listening to them in my house in Mozambique is magical. Thank you for that! It will be all day... ;-)
Im 17 and Genesis is my favourite Band since 16 years. Its my first chance to see them live hopefully in Europe.
Qué geniales, siempre, todos
i love them...from ever...for ever
Fading Lights gets me every time, especially in those circumstances... what a good idea to switch to Cinema Show to help us get back on our feet...! Vielen Dank for this video Cliff! All those vids/pix are a great chance for us who didn't/couldn't take tickets!
I also love Fading Lights
I find the segue into Cinema Show very abrupt.
Was at AO Arena ,great to see Genesis back, loved the show(best live band ever) tinged with sadness because this is probably the last time I will ever see them live
Very sad that phil can not play drums anymore, but his son is amazing drummer, this concert still fantastic for me...
many thanks for sharing was at the gig, just awesome
Brilliant work Cliff, well done mate! Highlight for me there was Domino. Nic's best drumming and Phil's best singing. All in all the whole concert was so much better than I was anticipating. I couldn't bring myself to go - first tour i've missed since ATTWT when I was 12. Wish I had now. I was blubbing more than once there. What a band, I hope they can make it into the studio one last time.
Thanks for your work on this. I attended this concert on the same night, by the looks of your camera angle about 15 - 20 meters to the right of you. Loved the re working of Land of Confusion with the pandemic visuals. An enjoyable night but sad to say goodbye to my favourite band of all time.
Block 103, seat F 11
Musica immortale...
Thank you and thank you for sharing this!!
I was there and not far from you by the look of it. Well worth the lengthy wait and thank you for this terrific filming of it. Hope they film one night of it and release an official full final concert. Loved it.
Thank you!
The Genesis sound is unique. The best on Earth
Thank you for sharing Beautiful video Greatly Appreciated
Thank you so very very much for making this concert available to those of us who don't quite have the privilege of being where Genesis is performing! I'm sure there are many people out there that share the same gratitude! Again........... Thank you so very much!
Thanks nicely done.
Can't wait to see them in exactly one week from now!
Glasgow, here we come!
Same, sadly the show is at least 1/4 empty
@@nik9401 What do you mean?
@@SuperRoario if you look at how many seats are not sold or up for resale.
God bless you for Uploading this. They’re not coming anywhere close to me so this is the best I can do.
EXCELLENT STUFF
THANKS!!!
Finally someone Tapes Whole concert from distance without going in and out too see band mates we already know what they look like and for that I APPLAUD You Mate!!!!!!! I'd wish Genesis would use just side screens to show them cause it takes away from Light show IMO
Good job on this one, well done Phil .
As a lifelong fan, I'm so grateful for videos like these! Best wishes and stay safe everyone!! :)
GOD I'll miss you chaps
Cinema show is fantastic...sounds like the ATTWT tour...👏👏👏
I was there!!! Great night.
Thanks for a great video of the experience that is Genesis. Music, visual and the mood was captured!
Legend !!!!!
Muchas gracias por compartir. Saludos desde Buenos Aires, Argentina
I am 62 and since my 15 I listen , love ,buy lp cd casettes dvd and merchandise , follow them and go to concerts.
Really the JOY of MY YOUTH. But I'd rather not see my heroes die on the scene.
No, this chapter is not for me. One domino too much and too far over all borders Phil!
Live long and well and take it easy man!
I first saw Genesis live back in 1977. I've seen them about a dozen times since then. They have always been transcendent. Unfortunately, I won't be able to see this tour in person myself. But, I must say that I'm really impressed by Nic's drumming here. I hope that he keeps making music, somewhere, after this tour. I would listen to that...
Ecxelente nada más!
Being on the West Coast of the US and not having the privilege to see this tour, I am thankful this video. I appreciate being able to see the lighting rig do its thing, which for me was half the show. Of course, there's the music, which was a excellent mix of older and newer tunes. While it was painful to see Phil, chair-bound and with cane, I think the band, lights, and projections took the focus off of him. Were they the same band that we knew them before? Of course, not. But I think they came together and put on quite a farewell. I don't think we can ask much more of them, except to wish them well in their post-career lives.
Thanks for the video; the quality is great and it gives me a good idea of what it would've been like to see. Alas, I prefer my memories of seeing them on the Mama and Invisible Touch tours.
Anyone else notice that The Abacab album was shut out of this tour? I wonder what gives; it's always been popular.
Nada ni Nadie ,suena como Genesis..!!!!
I'm surprisingly pleased. This rendition of their 80s songs is much less annoyingly poppy.
Stunning video quality, thanks!
Listen to No son of mine, what a great inedit legato-notes is doing Mike around 59.45? Wonderful solo!
Respect
i was there it was outstanding loved it so much i am going to Liverpool on sunday , hopefully it wont be the last time i see them
Wonderful to see them in Birmingham last week, but bittersweet. ‘Fading Lights’ had a poignancy to it that brought a catch to the throat.
I’m yet to watch this right through but thank you so much for recording this.
I had my Manchester ticket for 18 months and was hoping for another postponement but it wasn’t meant to be. I couldn’t easily leave Australia to attend and have been so devastated not to be able to go and see this special band. Been a Phil fan forever and was grateful he blessed us with an Australian tour only a couple of years ago. Just wanted to say farewell to Genesis in person.
So sick of covid!!!
Thanks again, good job!
merci du Québec.
Wonderful! Clap ! Clap!..
Love them all so much! 💖💖💖
looks like Phil is getting his vocal rhythm back
i wish it sounded like this in Birmingham.
@@deniseclendinning5836 I was at the Leeds concert on the 28th and having watched the previous concert videos, yes he is improving plus more crowd banter.
And his pitch too, much better here than in Birmingham. Thank God. I wish him to be able to finish off this tour in his top form. Fingers crossed. He deserves it.
legend
thanks you thanks you
So it's looking like this is going to be their main setlist.. can't wait for Chicago
It's very sad to see Phil in this physical condition.
I hope by the time they get to the states, they've dismissed the back up vocals because they miss their cue on "Home by the Sea"
and it sounded like an echo.
Lights and production on Second Home by the Sea, up there with their 82/84/86 pioneering best. Phenomenal..
G E N E S I S ❗❗❗
I saw this show and it was brilliant. Does anyone know what the intro music is before the come on stage?
thanks for the upload. I have recorded the whole concert on audio and it sounds really good. I would like to make a blu-ray out of it with you video material. Would it be possible to share the raw video?
Phil. Excellent job. Saw them at Newcastle on the 1st October almost exactly the same position you filmed it from.
Phil's voice is getting stronger, seems to be enjoying himself too. Visually great and Mike, Nick, Tony, Darryl and the backing singers doing an excellent job.
Fantastico video cliff debe haber sido maravilloso verlos nuevamente juntos GENESIS y PHIL COLLINS saludos desde CHILE STGO CUIDENCE
It was an amazing concert
Thanks for great video. I saw them in Leeds in 27th. Much prefer Tony’s keyboards this tour compared to ‘07. Sound is much closer to the albums.
Hi. Do you have the full show? Would love the rest as the quality is superb
I really wish Phil had a Dave Grhol Rock throne.. he deserved that much!
I was there, just the best
Look if you all are gonna go see legends in their 70s perform it’s gonna be a little pitchy. But it’s fun and great for memories anyway…
Incomplete or didn't play Carpet Crawlers last on this night? Just read the description well from what i could understand. Assuming the other songs weren't recorded?
Great video. Thanks for uploading. Is this concert on the 24th or the 25th September?
It's Friday 24th
This both sad & beautiful!! I
The only band that brought me to tears live!!
i have to say he sang much better here than in Birmingham His voice was to low and we could not hear him sing the words
EL MJOR DE LA HISTORIA MUSICA E.U. CON UNA TRYECTORIA .INCREIBLE TRASPARENTE ..HOY UNIDOS RECORDANDO TEMAS .INCREIBLES QUE TUBIERON . The one good and probably only point about Covid is that I couldn't get ticket for the original shows, but got them for the extra show at Birmingham. Have to admit Phil's voice sounds better on the show, but it was still great just to see them.
🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good quality recording and good reminder of the gig [although actually I went to Liverpool on Oct 3rd] but a shame that you miss off Dancing with the moonlit knight / Carpet Crawlers at the end
Battery ran out...
@@cliff.allister oh that's a pity as quality was so good!
Shame missed dancing and carpet crawlers but its a great video very steady did you have a tripod??….great to see it from that view we were down at the front when we saw them in Leeds 👍👍🤟👌👌👌

좋아요! 짝짝짝!
I wonder if he could hit the notes if he had more back support. He can’t get the oxygen needed to reach the notes so you hear him sliding. He always had an amazing range and was rarely pitchy live. If it kills me to see that lost, I can’t imagine his frustration. That said, he left it all on the stage and I can’t wait to say goodbye in NY. Maybe, his voice will get stronger after the euro leg of the tour. I Know they are going to put out live album so they are either going to have to auto tune him from the board or in the studio. The wild thing is Nic is growing out his beard and hair so he will look like his dad circa 1974.
Great concert video. 🙂
WHY WHY WHY DO OTHER VIDEO PHOTOGRAPHERS NOT GIVE US THE CONCERT LIKE YOU HAVE. SUPERB JUST LIKE BEING IN THE UPPER CIRCLE WATCHING AND ENJOYING THE STAGE SHOW. IT WAS A MAGNIFICENT ACHIEVEMENT. MORE MORE MORE PLEASE
My youth and nursery rhymes, long live Phil
Nursery Cryme?
i was in manchester on the 24th an awesome concert the greatest rock musicians of all time
Blimey, what happened at 41:24? Nic's got the energy, but Tony's fingers couldn't quite get In The Ravine. Excellent performance overall tho', a lot more loose than the footage from Leeds
Hâte de les voir à. Montréal!!
