Just got back from seeing them at the O2 in London England. I must admit my expectations were low after reading a lot of comments online but you know what the concert was amazing. Yes some of the songs were in a lower key to accommodate Phil's voice but on the whole it didn't spoil the experience. Phil's wit and antics onstage made up for his voice not being up to scratch. And when he sang Dancing With The Moonlit Knight and Carpet Crawlers I knew the concert was coming to an end and did unashamedly shed a few tears. A perfect send off. Ignore the haters. If you were not there you haven't clue.
I was there. It was awesome and emotional. Professional to the last.
I know the feeling brother.
Only watching this video makes me emotional.

Their very last say goodbye to Genesis tour... or better said, Phil says goodbye to the world! Or, if you will, a promotion tour for Nicolas, his son, proudly watched and presented by Daddy Collins ;-) They all deserve respect for that tour....
Nick is a very average drummer, not at all suited to a band like Genesis.

wunderbar, das ich das noch erleben durfte, ich, liebhaber dieser musik ca 30 jahre, nie auf genesis konzert gewesen, aber genau dieses live erlebt und mit dabei gewesen. danke für die aufzeichnung ;-)
Ich kenne Genesis als Wegbegleiter meines Lebens und Konzertbesucher seit jeher, Lamb tour 75 noch mit Gabriel , Trick of the Tail 76, ( beide in Düsseldorf ) das " naja konzert" in Köln 78, danach haben wir nur noch Solo-Konzerte von Gabriel und Hackett besucht.....als " echter Genesis Fan " ist man vielleicht geneigt die sogenannte " Schlagerzeit "der Truppe komplett auszublenden, nein - soweit darf es auch bei Progrock - extremisten nicht kommen : Genesis ist vielleicht nicht das , was es mal war - aber das Paradies war auch schon mal schlechter beurteilt: meine tiefsten Respekt vor Phil Collins und Ihr habt es gut zu Ende gebracht - danke an Cliff Allister für das Video. Bleibt alle gesund..
War vor 30 Jahren im Müngersdorfer Stadion dabei. Eigentlich bin ich Fan der älteren Platten und bin damals mit gemischten Gefühlen zum Konzert gegangen. = Ich wurde aber sehr positiv überrascht. Klasse Balance zwischen alten und neueren Stücken. Ich denke heute noch sehr angetan daran zurück.
I had the chance to participate in the Hannover concert this march. I refused. I like to keep them in memory as they were in Wembley 87. Centuries ago. This here is only a shadow of good old times. Nevertheless, they gave us a music wich will not be forgotten. Thanks, thanks thanks.

Mega..Danke für diese Aufnahme 💪👍💪. Ich feiere den Fan im weißen Tshirt...der steht die ganze Zeit und hat einfach nur Spaß. Hab auch die ganze Zeit gestanden ( in Hannover )...an sitzen war garnicht zu denken 😁😇.

This is a real struggle to both watch and listen to. I can remember Phil on his first outing as frontman on the 1976 A Trick Of The Tail UK tour.
I saw them in Dec ‘22 in Long Island, NY , and it was beyond spectacular!! My fav group ever !!! It wasn’t his voice from the 80’s singing although…

Recorded with a phone or whatever from the very back, it is not going to sound good- just echoey and reverb.
I was shocked to hear this and a bit of the Paris concert. Phil is changing the tunes wholesale to accomodate his reduced fitness and range. He sounds and looks so frail. 2007 was just 1 or 2 high notes lowered. btw sounds like there’s about 400 people in the audience.

Nicely filmed! Saw them 3 times in 2007 as my personal farewell, as well as Collins solo in '94 and '97, and even in 2007 they were already past their peak as live performers. But this, especially considering the insane ticket prices, was a hard pass for me.
Yes. They should have called it a day in 2007. This is just a bit sad and a pale shadow of what they once were. The drumming is particularly weak.

Ja, das Konzert-Verhalten des Publikums hat sich in den letzten ...? Jahren sehr verändert. Während sie mit ihrem Handy rum hantieren, ist der andere Teil von ihnen nicht anwesend. Solche Leute genießen nicht den Moment. Weil sie es einfach nur gewohnt sind, andauernd mit ihrem Spielzeug herum zu fuchteln. - Diesen Menschen kannst du auch ganz locker, beim Spaziergang die Kinder und Hunde stehlen, weil sie abgetaucht sind. Das ist obertraurig!
Hm, einerseits schön das Sie das nochmal auf sich nehmen aber ich glaube da behalt ich lieber den agilen Phil Collins von 2007 in Düsseldorf in Erinnerung.. Das Konzert gibts auch hier auf UA-cam in sehr guter Qualität.
Ce concert est beau comme la non-rétractabilité des serres des oiseaux rapaces ou encore, comme l'incertitude des mouvements musculaires dans les plaies des parties molles de la région cervicale postérieure 💅👑
Stimmung auf dem Siedepunkt..:-)...mein Gott was für ein lahmes Publikum. Habe Genesis leider nur dreimal gesehen. 1981, 1985 und 2007...........das waren bessere Zeiten.Ehrlich.

Die waren ja offensichtlich mit ihrer Handyfilmerei beschäftigt. Und sowas von einem kölner Publikum. Was für ein Armutszeugnis. Früher sah das anders aus! Definitiv.
The audience was really quiet, but not sure if it was being quiet, I Think the public was sad of seing a rock legend get towards the end of his carrer in such a sad way. I have seen Genesis in Amsterdam a long while ago and it was different, of course. I got married with "Follow you, follow me" as background music. I have lived in K 7 years and watched the Rolling Stones in Mungesdorf Stadion, but this concert is sad, just to remember a wonderful human being and his incredible music. Tschüß Phil, bis dann irgendwo, irgendwann.

Go injure your back and see how complicated your life becomes, I had the luxury of herniating 4 disks back in 2007, lifes never been the same since. Phils in a lot of pain, I don't think you could do any better in his condition. The Buffalo show was the best of the tour, and I was glad to go and say my farewell after a lifetime of enjoyment.

Wish I were there.. dang! If Phil wants to sing, I will listen no matter how ragged he goes ..I appreciate his shining moments even the more!
They are not the real Genesis, that band finished 1977 and apart from Steve carrying the torch they morphed into a different band, bizarrely the mistake was to try and carry on without a Guitarist! They were known for the intricacies of the Guitarist first with Ant and then Steve!
The light show is pretty amazing, but the band isn't.
Obviously you don't know much about 'Genesis' so this tour isn't for you. This 'Last Domino?' Tour is for the 'family' of Genesis 🙂 Too bad You missed out on knowing their music, and appreciating their gift to Us, and the fans support of them🤨! This is true music that uplifts, comforts, and loves🤩
The bands fine, Phils getting old and suffers from spinal nerve damage, I have 4 herniated disks in my upper/mid/ and lower back, so I literally feel his pain, and I can tell you everyday is miserable except a few short hours if I can find a comfortable position to sit or lay in.
