I've rode the 8r and loved it. It was actually comfortable for me At 6 foot 1. I rode the daytona 660 and it's OK but didn't enjoy it like the 8r and the position wasn't comfortable for rides longer than 30 minutes. I'm 36 btw so middle age I guess lol. I like the sound of this motor on the aprilia though and really want to try it out eventually, but wandered how it compared comfort wise to the 8r.
I want to try the Daytona 660! Comfort is so important especially for longer rides. I agree the 8R for a sport bike has unmatched comfort! Thanks for checking me out bro! Stay safe!
@@Motahead7930 8R have one big issue... It sound rly bad. At the traffic noone hear you so for the dealer price you have to add like almost 15% to it...
I totally agree with you regarding the exhaust. I’m working on a video where I’m riding both bikes back to back. And I mention the exhaust note from the factory on the 8R is super quiet! I’ll probably post that couple days Thanks for watching!
AF1 racing out of Austin Texas offers the actual Aprilia 1 and 2 year extended warrantys. They would be just like from Aprilia direct. They are also the largest oem parts supplier in the US.
Did you look at the Tuono 660 at all? I think I've made up my mind that's what I'm getting as soon as I can sell my bike. I test rode the Street Triple as well, and didn't like it. I can't do the sport bikes because of my back.
Thanks for watching! I haven’t had a chance to swing a leg over the Tuono 660 yet. I know it’s pretty much the same bike from what I understand. Some say it a little more nimble feeling the the RS660! Will give it a spin at the next available demo day! I found this video that might help with perspective. ua-cam.com/video/9wiCX4TsrwU/v-deo.htmlsi=u-Hs3OkxI84MPuz9 Also they just announced the 2025’s which has received several updates! Good luck on your pursuit of your next bike! Thanks for tuning in!
Im looking into getting a bike and something about the rs660 speaks to me. The way it does everything so well. I am 25 looking to get my first bike, would you say the rs660 is a good choice. I keep getting pulled towards it. I do plan on taking it slow as I learn and want something that will last me years
Thanks for watching my friend! I think the RS660 is an awesome bike! Would I recommended as a first bike? Honestly it wouldn’t be my first recommendations as a first bike. She’s a little spicy. Honestly that bike pushes you to want to go faster and faster. But again you know yourself and how well you are able to take things slowly! Have you checked out the RS457? It has a lot of the same styling 270° parallel twin. Better screen. From what I hear handles great! It would be worth it to check it out as well. Maybe compare them face-to-face at the dealership… Either way, I hope you get all that you want my friend!! Thanks again for watching!!
I started on a RS660 Exrema an I have about 1000 miles on it … I say just respect the bike an respect your self with the decisions you’re gonna make on the bike and you should be fine. The RS660 is spicy indeed just keep that in mind.
Thanks for watching!! I have no idea because I’m 5’7 lol! But I watched a video from daily rider. He mentioned that he’s 6’2 and said that the bike is comfortable for him. Probably best to swing a leg over it to make sure . But here’s the link to the video. ua-cam.com/video/5ZWQAi23Mxg/v-deo.htmlsi=-llMA_KwqGawnx70 Thanks again for watching!!!

The RS660 Extrema is a beautiful machine! Congratulations!! Thanks for watching
Try a Tuono 660 as well
I done 1800 miles on mine so far, fantastic bike all round, headlights are a bit shit but other than that you gotta nitpick for flaws
Congratulations on the RS660! I agree I just took it on my first day trip! Had a blast!
300 miles? I would do that the first day.
Yeah, I would’ve loved to do 300 miles on the first day 😂
I got about 150 on it the first day. Thanks for watching!!
