- Debbie Wei Mullin of Copper Cow Coffee pitches her premium Vietnamese coffee product to the Sharks. The high valuation gives the Sharks pause, but the coffee wows them all. From the season 12 finale, episode 25, of 'Shark Tank.' Watch 'Shark Tank' on ABC, streaming, on demand, and Hulu.
Mark loves the idea of going door to door lol.
When someone is willing to do d2d, it's shows they have a lot of character. They're okay with immediate rejections, they really have to sell themselves and the product, it also shows they're willing to do whatever it takes to a certain extent
💸💸💸
Mark is a sucker for "American Dream" stories
He respects hard work
He likes and respects the hustle.
found this for $10 at my local walmart. Definitely worth it if you're looking for great coffee that's quick and simple to make.
Nah it's cool UA-cam, I didn't wanna see the end anyway
😅🤣😂
Where is the ending???
Exactly
that's what dailymotion is for
UA-cam?... that's ABC's fault, UA-cam is only showing what was uploaded.
I love that Robert clearly hates the drink but keeps drinking it
He actually ended up investing in it.
@@iExuos do you know where I can find the rest of the video?
it's the sugar

They gave a sampler so he tried everything.
I'm a Vietnamese person, and you know, when my country was called in this pitch, I'm very very and very proud. So hope you will be more and more successful in the future. Thank you for choosing Vietnam, love you
Being proud of an American using Vietnamese coffee and sending back maybe 5% to farmers in da lat or BMT?

I went to Vietnam for a week with my dad and I got addicted to their coffee. I get it in the morning before we explore Hanoi. I'm not even a coffee person.
If I had the funds I would definitely invest in her product since I really like a good coffee and also I like that it’s easy to make without using a machine. 🙂
I can't do lactose, so here's to one day a lactose free version

@@amandaalves6936 Ooo when you do, link me would love to try it
Copper Cow does have a vegan version on their website! It’s with a coconut milk based creamer as an alternative. Hope you try and enjoy! They release tons of offers for goodies and coupon codes~
In Vietnam, this only cost 1.5$. And it is a box of 30 small pack. At a can of condensed milk for 1$, you pretty much can drink for a month. And you can use the milk to dip it with the bread.
Nah, Vietnamese here. You can find some unbranded instant coffee at 1$ for 10 sachets but yucky taste. The decent ones are the way more expensive.

Did Barbara edit this video?
came here to see what was so absolutely about the packaging
Full episode please. Don't just cut it off half way through
I was surprised with this. Since they're selling the pour over filters in lazada and shopee Philippines. And alot has been selling this type of drips in the Philippines and maybe I'm waiting for them to go skyrocket.
kinda expensive but good if you're camping or something, extremely convenient and the black coffee one is actually really good coffee
What are we supposed to do with such a video that ends ubruptly?
If i was genuine Vietnam Coffee the Milk would be at the bottom with the Coffee poured on top..
just order a box to take trekking. hard to get a good cup of coffee out in the wilderness.
And it taste just like love. It bitter and sweet at the same time
I just bought the vanilla latte flavor at Whole Foods. It was $12.00. I hope it's good. I'd never heard of this brand before but if I like it, I'll definitely buy more because I'm all about the ease of a single serving and not having to wash the coffee pot....
And? We are all eagerly awaiting an update.
@@pauldavis5665 It was just OK. I wouldn't buy it again unless I were desperate for caffeine and out of options. You can add between 4-10 oz. of water and I need to have at least 10 oz. in the morning, but the problem is with 10 oz of water you're getting a more diluted product. The flavor would have been better with 4-6 oz. water but that's gone in two swallows so it's ultimately unsatisfying.
Just bought from Amazon. Doesn't worth the price at all. There are comparable or better instant coffees with cream included for half of the price or less.
is that coffee cow
I had to come in here to tell people this is not the correct Vietnamese coffee people taste in the south. The Vietnamese coffee in the south is from Louisiana....
That looks pretty sick actually, I’d buy.
They are delicious.
They sell condensed milk in every supermarket and coffee. This product is not “premium”. She is doing what alot of people do which is to market the brand based on an “exotic” country and upsell you. Condensed milk and coffee is one of the most basic things you can do. You can even see that they just packaged the condensed milk. It’s not even an original mixture

used a lot of big words
They don't look like they enjoyed it too much? Maybe it tasted OK/good, but nothing special?
I've had it and it is delicious
I appreciate Daymond explaining to Robert why our coffee is sweet :)
IF YOU WANNA KNOW WHO GOT THE DEAL CLICK REPLIES
Robert made a deal for $600,000 5.5% equity and 1.5% on advisory chares. :/ idk he didn’t really like the coffee saying it’s too sweet but good for her !
@@Sanbrio Robert ending up with the deal such an irony. Also what a creative way u used click replies lol
Is the actual coffee sweet as well ? Or is it because of the way it’s made it’s just the condensed milk that makes it sweet?
@@Անի-ո3մ For traditional Vietnamese coffee, it will always be a dark roast, the sweetness is added from the condensed milk. Same with this product, it’s a dark roast and their creamer is like a condensed milk! So to make the coffee sweet, always add condensed milk. Hope that helps!!
@@Sanbrio thank you 🥰 Sounds delicious !
So she was born in America but Asian race
I think Vietnamese people are very hard working and do it with a passion . thinking of Hung Vanngo (the makeup artist), the buttercloth guy and many others that came on this show

Too complicated.
Lol he waited in line 2 hours for coffee in Vietnam. Cluelessness made person.
Living at Hochiminh for 20 years but I was shocked😂😂
Yo all of it bye
lol the Caribbean islands have been adding condensed milk to coffee for generations I don’t think that’s just a Vietnamese thing but it’s a great idea
And you realize Vietnam has been adding condensed milk to their coffee for generations too right? But no one felt the need to point that out because it's almost like multiple cultures can do the same thing in their own way without actually claiming complete ownership over it. You're such an idiot kid.
@@Damage_Inc complete ownership yet…she’s selling it as “Vietnam’s way” . And then I ended it off with “great idea”. So if you’re dumb enough to not see through that who is really the idiot?
Brian Kim…I guess the hurt dog hollers. It’s ok
I have a subscription. Very good.

I can buy vietnamese coffee for a fraction of the price why would I spent $3 for a cup of coffee lmao

Very cool product. Now im on the lookout for it! 🤟
I’m glad she credited Japan with that brewing method.
Hope Coffee Cow himself will watch this someday...
he's watched the whole show. this is his favorite episode.
@@Boxish a little late but he just posted a video for season 10
This shit is the bomb diggity. The rose flavor is a secret pleasure of mine.
Same here but sadly they discontinued it!
I love her honest answer that the packaging style is common in japan. Rather than trying to flaunt they are the genius brains behind the packaging
It’s pretty good, got the churro coffee and lavender latte.
Love the other flavor profiles
The sharks doesn't seem too impressed with the things you can find at home and smth that's already been done. It's also odd how she's not giving the product demonstrated by her but premade coffee in a cup
Cuz then she would have to make 25(?) different servings of them and that just takes waaaaay too long.
@@genieinthepot2455 she put condensed milk from a packet into normal coffee. Its not impressing. You can do that already at home.
The barbara jokes are annoying. Both Kevin and Daymond make fewer deals than her and they don't get shit for it (yes these are real stats). +Kevin makes shitty royalty deals. +Barbara is by far the biggest supporter of female owned businesses. The whole thing reeks of...should i say it...sexism. Fun show but the fanbase sucks, yall are like the rick and morty guy screaming about szechuan sauce, just doing dumb shit for attention
$15 for 5 servings? Man just buy yourself a can or two of condensed milk and a bag Vietnamese coffee grounds and boom.
Exactly.
@@ellentran96 exactly.
I can get that exact same vietnamese drip in a nearby coffee shop brewed fresh from 2 dollars a cup
@@TunjungUtomo Yeah going to wholesale or bulk you can make it for like ~$1.00 or $1.50 a day for a week easily. Though, I think the product is smart enough where it introduces people to new flavors and types of drips. Vietnamese coffee is probably my favorite out of all of them.
😂🤣😃😄
Barbara would be like: “I like this product and I can see myself using this everyday, but I farted yesterday and for that reason, I’m out.”

Best part of my shark tank clips watching rabbit hole are the barbra is out comments. You guys make the clip so much more enjoyable that I audibly laugh most of the time. Thanks for that.
Yoooooooooo LOL
I'm from Vietnam and I'm especially proud of this product.
Just add some condensed milk into your coffee ☕it's yummy 😋
What happened? It cut off as the lady was explaining how she sold her first 1000 stores.
robert was really having a hard time with the taste of the coffee huh lol
It's cause he hates sweet things. I remember Lori once mentioning years ago that Robert hated chocolate.
Filter coffee or instant coffee and a can Nestle Condensed Milk $3 will make you 20 cups.
Nestle can wipe her out of business in a month.
That’s what I was thinking, there’s nothing proprietary about coffee with condensed milk lol
You know why it won't though, because Americans LOVE wasting money on this type of shit. When we hear about other culture's foods/drinks, we're ready with our wallet to try it. That's why I think she will make big money on this. You are right though regarding the ingredients, but people don't know about Vietnamese coffee that well.
It's just not the same. Rather have someone who is raised in Vietnamese culture do it. Also, Nestle isn't well-known for their coffee, nor quality of their products. I want quality, for relatively cheap, not insanely cheap.
@@reidpattis3127 I agree it's just not the same. I have tried the cream, churro, and lavender flavors. I've never had anything like it. I love how individualized it is. This is my new fav thing, plus I got a box at sprouts for $8
Her business is popping off now though! You would’ve missed out
Barbara: "I love coffee, I love Vietnam and I love you, so for those reasons I'm out!"
I really hated Daymond during this pitch, I get the man views the tank as a "way to help people" but he was out of line. I get that she burned through $1.5M, but she did it with the intention of growing the company and profiting down the line. the biggest companies go through a few years where they lose millions because they believe they can make up the loss later on when they become profitable. I'm glad Mark & Robert called him out on it
Well said as the series goes on Daymond gets more and more ruder. Just don't invest if you're not interested. Many products over the years on Shark Tank have raised millions before they enter the Tank. And we know why Daymond was in Vietnam.. looking at sweat shops were they pay there employers about $3 dollars a week. That's why people manafacture in China, Taiwan, India, Vietnam because they use cheap Labour to keep there costs down.
@@smallsmalls3889 Yeah, I hate it when Daymond tries to get moral, when the industry he is in is very immoral regarding its unethical labor practices.
Damn $3 each. That's how much they charge in the vietnamese pho restaurants I think. But I guess it's about convenience. Cuz those K Cups are like $1 each, and you can get $1 coffee at a lot of places.
I love coffee, this is music to my ears
Barbara: I’m not a shark today, so for that reason, I’m out
Since you gave me half of a pitch, I’ll certainly pay money and waste my time to tune in and watch when you decide…. 🙄
Just tried it for the first time and immediately was impressed. Definitely worth it!
It's Black Coffee with Condensed milk.

This is very good product. I had it.
Barbara: “I have no more excuses to give, for that reason Im out.”
$600,000 for a flavored coffee idea? I guess she hasn't heard of Starbucks yet.
Starbucks sucks though, I don't get how people will buy a decent coffee for $6.00 when they can get the better version of the coffee at Dunkins or even a small business coffee shop.
Thanks for uploading half the pitch, ABC. Why are the sharks still so milk toast? Daymon is always explaining different cultures to the panel.
Ooooooohkay lol so we don’t get to see the whole thing? Just randomly cuts off mid discussion lol like why

Guarantee no one made a deal. I don't think any other part of the beverage market is as competitive as coffee, and I don't think any of the sharks have any skin in the coffee game.
robert made a deal that never went through after the show aired, but copper cow raised an $8.5 million series a funding round last year
