lol. she's trying to talk about the profits and money and everyone's interrupting her with SOUPER CUBEEEEEEES
lol
They see they make profits and there cheerfully to make money with them
Marc loves these damn cubes lol keeps screaming
Idiots
As soon as they heard the numbers they were anxious to make a deal💀
i like how kevins deals are so complicated that the brand owners basically exclude him from any possibility of doing a deal
Yeah like you would need a human calculator to figure out how it impacts the gearing ratio and then to calculate the royalties based on future sales. I think the man just does it to have a bit of fun, Lori or Maria would have been the best sharks for this type of product no matter what
Yeah exactly, everytime the brand owners literally ignore him and beg for other offers lol
Y’all are dumb. His offer was objectively the worst out of any offers proposed. Legit the same money for more equity

Barbara: I Got Outbid And For The Reason, Im Out.
The genius of this is the silicon and the lid. You cant easily pop out food with a hard plastic container and silicon containers are common BUT the well fit lid is unique to their product. Well played srsly
Silicon ice cube trays have existed forever. That steel lining is what the real genius here is.
lori's inventions perfectly line up with this product and just a perfect match
Kevin’s deal was equal to Lori’s in actual $ amount, however with the added royalty cap at 1 million his offer long term was in fact better $ wise in the end.
Cap in output = cap in input
Yes but Lori's seduction overwhelms people
But Lori invest in MANY successful business and almost every one of them have passed the 5million mark.
Lori is a better fit for the product.
Wrong: equity is 5% of the profits which are less than 20$ per piece due to production costs etc., however 40 cent of the profit per piece is way more than 2% at least (0,4/(20-3,8))=2,5%. The cap makes it interesting though.

Way to go Lori to give this couple to go to the GOLDEN ticket, as they definitely deserved it with those kind of sales and numbers and coming up with such a wonderful device that we all can use in our homes. To the couple who designed this wonderful product: thank you so very much for realizing a great need. I live alone now but I grew up in a family of 14 on a farm. Barbara: “It’s going to be a pleasure being your business partner but for that reason I’m out”
Their sales were already skyrocketing, but why did they choose to get on 'Shark Tank'?
Here's what I think, they could have easily taken up their sales but as they mentioned their main marketing strategy is customer's words of mouth and coming up on a show like 'Shark Tank' will skyrocket their marketing merely based on airing the show on TV. Thats what I think is the main reason, because they also came in seeking for high investment with just a little portion of the equity. Honestly finding a mentor was not their main intention to be on the show.
Most people’s intentions on the show is the publicity. It usually multiplies peoples sales by 20x instantly
@@isaacfrohlich4575 exactly what i thought..
In my grad school program, we had a Zoom call with a person who had been on Shark Tank. They had already gotten tons of investment cash and the Shark Tank money was a small portion of what they raised. They went on for promotion. He said it helped but wasn't a major part of their overall strategy.
yes it's called shark tank effect.
Lori is the "golden ticket" shark as the publicity they get from her doesn't end on Shark Tank. Whenever she has one of her products on QVC, they sell $100,000's of dollars worth in minutes to 8 million plus viewers. If she has them on the show once a month, thats lots of "free" sales and free advertising.
Kendra always has to talk about herself 🙄
Seriously 🤡
Lololol
Yes, not a single sentence absent the words "I" or "Me". What a self-centered sociopath.
Always be selling
yes idk why they bring her?
I wish I thought of this. For everyone saying “I just use Tupperware,” first of all if you freeze soup or chili in Tupperware, it doesn’t easily come out when your ready to heat up the frozen food. I make a giant batch of chili and freeze it in glass Pyrex containers. It takes forever for them to thaw enough to take out of the container.
I never bought the giant silicon ice cube trays because I knew it would spill everywhere when I carry it to the freezer. This solves that with a stainless rim and a lid. It’s a brilliant invention, and anyone who cooks a lot will instantly appreciate it.
I can’t believe I never thought of it, especially since I always hate having to thaw something before taking it out of the container.
The next time I have a problem and there is no product to solve it, I’m going to create the product myself.
The souper cube trays are great. Made many stocks and used them for easy storage and portion. Also super helpful for baby food

These are the best kinds of products, EXTREMELY simple, instantly understandable, and offer a creative way to solve a problem that some people have.
And the best part is, it's literally just plastic ice cube trays with bigger slots. Also is an issue, since there is obviously no way in hell you'd be able to patent this, and there will be a LOT of competitors, but if you get first to market and become that big brand name that people trust, this could definitely sell a lot.

They deserved that golden ticket. They were near flawless on all points as Lori pointed out. And the name is just awesome. Has such a great ring to it. SOUPERCUBES!!!
This is one for the "why didn't I think of this?" category.
This is an awesome product. I made over 20 liters of sauce and soups from garden grown produce this summer. I froze it all in 1 L glass jars. This would have been a better option for sure. At least for some of the frozen stuff.
Zip lock bags. You can do the same thing for pennies and they come in multiple sizes. They were over the top pouring the pot instead of ladeling it like a normal person.
Equivalent to a golden buzzer in America’s Got Talent.
I was just ordering these last night. Had no idea they were on shark tank. Totally need them in my life.
This product is amazing! I’m definitely buying it 🙌🏽
Why not use a bag instead? Use a small enough spoon and it will fit. The guy in their intro was being silly. No spoon for a bag, but a spoon for Souper Foods.
I believe in the product! I cook for one and I definitely will be buying this.
Ive watched a few hours of clips and this might be the first time I saw Barbara make an offer
I love this show , I learnt a lot watching these episodes
Had no idea this was on shark tank. I bought this on Amazon recently and was amazed at how sturdy and firm these were, along with the lids. The cubes pop out easily. I pop mine out into a freezer bag since I only bought two trays and then I can use them on other soups I make. Highly recommend! I bought it specifically for freezing my favorite soup that would often go to waste and for meal prep. Now I can enjoy my fav soup whenever I’m craving it. Looking forward to buying more when I can.
Same here! I found them on amazon, then went to the website (they have a deal now) and only after making the buy decision did I learn they'd been on Shark Tank! I'll be getting some as Christmas gifts this year...the new baking dishes that pair with the 2 cup cubes are the icing on the cake!
