Sure, here's the corrected version of your sentence: Very good narration and voice, beautiful images, and a good choice of music. This is the best form of review that I have seen! Well done! What is the model of your microphone?
Dude. I think you almost singlehandedly pursued me to soon get the S5 (or maybe the S1) to use with my vintage lenses. I needed this video. I don't think I heard anyone explain in a more moving and emotional way why using vintage lenses is just special and rewarding. I only shoot vintage glass(mostly with A7s mk1), and sometimes was a bit wanting to get a nice AF lens...but the nice ones are so expensive I just cannon stand this whole thing when a lens is more expensive than a body. I think I was frustrated mostly because my current bodies does not have IBIS and I miss some kind of stabilization that is why I was considering a stabilized lens. How is the ibis on the S5 with like a 135mm vintage glass? Will it be enough to combat standstill micro jitters during video? Or should I rather get the S1 with somewhat better IBIS (I much prefer tilt screen and that seems to have a better EVF as well, though less video features and maybe too have at 1kg.)
Glad to help!! If you decide to purchase through Amazon theres an affiliate link in the description if you feel like supporting the channel :) Honestly the ibis in the s5 is the best ive used in a full frame, ive shot 300mm handheld and its totally doable. Its already pushing the size and weight of a camera for me i wouldn't want anything larger if I could avoid it. I think from the old sony either of these bodies will be a whole new world haha
I have a lot of old Takumar, Zeiss, Helios, Topcon lenses - so the S5 is able to stabilise this handheld without any gimbals? I currently use a GX8, which is great for doing pictures with vintage glass, but video footage is terrible. even on a tripod the jitters are painful. did you do further LUT or color correction or is this OOC material here.... just curious
Amazing footage! and all this with a budget friendly vintage lens and a camera body for around 1000,- unbelievable.. Btw could you tell which of your shown lenses you used for the shots at 2:07 and 4:58 ? The flaring is looking really beautiful and unique :D
Thank you!! both shots were with a Miranda 24mm 2.8 for Pentax k mount i found on ebay here in the UK for 40$, not really sure anything about it but its a fun lens and actually really sharp for photography at f5.6
You have such an incredible style for these kinds of videos. Nothing sterile or run-of-the-mill about these 'reviews' at all. Beautiful work.
Appreciate it!!
Music, images and narrative make this a great video to watch
Thank you!

Hmm, strange! Does the gx8 ibis not work in video mode? Most shots have some light grading yep :)
@@AveryCaudill GX8 is not supporting old lenses in video mode. but bought a used S5 this weekend and now all works super smooth.
@@volkmarweber1791 gotcha, well good enjoy!
Love the imaged

Hi. Great video! I’ve subscribed!!
I’m just wondering what lens adapter you use??
Thanks James
Thanks and welcome! I just use the cheapest one I can find on eBay haha, it’s just a chunk of metal, no electrics
@@AveryCaudill
Great I’ll look into it!!
Thanks
I also use my Pentax K-Mount lenses on my Sony A7iv. (Video) The image is so nice.
FYI, I thought the music was a little too loud😊
Awesome! And thanks, I’ll turn the levels down a bit next time :)
The thumbnail made me think you were going to show some comparisons. Entertaining video though
Good point sorry for the confusion, thank you though!
I also think the music was a bit too much but your images are terrific.
Noted, thank you!
next time - whisper!
Haha too loud?
