The thing I liked the most about the song was how Angus made the guitar sound like ringing bells - and Jon, you nailed that. I thought it was harmonics that made that effect but I can see now that it was not. Are you using high gain/distorion with chorus to get that ringing effect? I hear the disortion but I don't get the ringing tone that you are getting.
hey jon about inside the solo series of jerry breakdown of 2 episode its long time of no having that episode man. I would appreciate if u will brother.peace,respect.man
Hi John, my #1 struggle on guitar would be when I'm making a E chord barring #5ebg and #7d and I put my thumb behind the barre. I still have a problem getting all my notes on the barre ringing out because I'm holding the 7d chord. I have this same problem when holding an A chord and hammering on #3b and #4d. When holding that chord my A chord Barre is weak.
Nice tone but the Prechorus isn't right - there's a pattern from the D to a partial G chord, and the C chord at the end is a power chord in third position. The pattern is also the same over the E section, and the final D and A chords are open power chords. Cheers!
