the main center pole comes out of the box fully attached to the clamp, I've never tried to remove it, I just gave it a good twist and it didn't budge, it may screw/bolt in from the underside but I didnt check and its currently fully setup still on my desk 👌😁

Can you unscrew the main pole from the desk clamp by just twisting it or is there a screw underneath the clamp?
