Do FM24 tactics work on FM Mobile?

- I try out two tactics from the main Football Manager 2024 game on the Netflix exclusive FM24 Mobile version. Do tactics transfer across to other versions of the game or do they not work as well?

When you go on holiday in the mobile version the assistant manager picks your tactic,its not the set one. So your tests arent really valid.

Basically, you can, to a certain limit. The mobile's tactic is just dumbed down version to the original version's details. The most important option I think you'll miss the most is the absence of default/support/attack option.
Just beware, Inside Forward role (in AMR/AML position) is just sh*t in the mobile. Unlike in the original version, it keeps crossing and crossing from byline like wingers instead of cut inside and shoot.
Would you suggest using inverted winger instead ? How would you translate IF to mobile?
@@Prashant-pm7iz I'm still in the process of testing IW. Just an early observation, I don't think it would. Using IW, my wingers were already on the inside right after my team was in possession (static). That alone betrayed the concept of inverted players that I've known, which they would start the run from the outside to the inside (dynamic). And second, I've used my IFs from the beginning to act as second line finishers (double threat to back the lone striker up), not provider of crosses (like most wingers do). But as I said, it's just an early observation. I'll certainly keep testing for this.
What I've found at the moment is that seems like the IFs worked better in FR/FL positions. They cut inside with the ball and tried to shoot or low cross, like in older FMs.
My problem with it, in those positions, they're doing it too high (in opponent's defenders space), so the spaces are just too crowded. While in the old FMs, AMR/AML were operating in the half space between defender line and midfield line, which is much more spacious.
@@CaraVerde yea I found the same things. I’ve been using IFs in the FL/FR positions but they just cut in really late.
I’ve noticed though recently in this fm mobile is that the shadow striker position right behind the striker near the AM position seems to be quite good along with CMs in general.

Yeah, the shadow striker is quite good. I just think that the game represents its movement wrongly. In the game, the SS gets in front and stay there right after the team is in possession. Afaik, that's not how SS do. SS takes advantage of empty space when the opponents focused too much on (what they think as) main threat, the striker. As a shadow, SS shouldn't blatantly challenge the defenders right away like shown in the game.
@@CaraVerde yeah I hear you. I just found one of my players going on an very good run as a SS. Hes a 3.5 star youth prospect in the premier league
Although this game can be very frustrating at times. I’m struggling to score but my defence is absolutely amazing. I’m running a 4-3-3 with two BBMs and an AP. I changed things up. Striker set to AF with two IFs and back line is FBs with one CD and a BPD.
