1:28 injuries - goalkeeper on the bench, squad rotation 3:13 money saving. Remove the percentage of next sale when buying players 5:54 making a tactic. No need to select everything on every section 8:37 player prompts and dynamics. Keep on top of player happiness 12:52 don’t discount the data hub. Look at it for your next opponent
With the rotation and injury tip - you can add an injury risk column, this is really helpful because a player can be full fitness and match sharp but still be at a higher risk of getting injured! I've noticed my injuries reduced drastically after adding the column and swapping high at risk players for low risked ones when I can! (Pretty much the same tip but the column just makes it quick and easy to show)
I've had this on my tactics screen for years, still ridiculous how many more injuries you get in FM24. It's just so much harder to manage as I used to be able to make my tactic less intense late on to save players' legs. Doesn't seem to work anymore, any tactic that's not all the way up on the red for intensity just leads to me immediately conceding 2 goals
Two tips: If you are struggling in the PL there are 2 opportunities to arrange friendlies during international breaks, use them and play against a lower side, trash them (hopefully) and praise your players. That should restore morale to decent levels. If you are using a player which has 1 or 2 years left of his contract and he is close to demanding a new contract, you don´t wish to do so for various reasons. In this case just transfer list him and he won´t demand the new contract thus avoiding headaches with the rest of the squad. It does decrease morale slightly or they may even get upset, their performance won´t be impacted as much as a wrong talk.
The only thing that changed with injuries this year are goalkeeper injuries. Outfield players weren't touched, so it's still 80% of real life. Every single year people moan about too many injuries because they are unable to manage it properly. Of course, you can manage it to your best ability and still get injuries, but that's football. Sometimes I think people just don't want any roadblocks in their save at all. See also interactions.
Yep, gamers want 'realism' - but not if it makes the game harder to beat. Also with injuries nobody cares if their third string holding midfielder gets crocked, but when it's the striker you just spent 80 percent of your transfer budget on, people start to complain....
The training scheme sub directory for setting the level of intensity in the training lacks options that makes it easy to manage, it´s a common thing with the series that not enough thought has been put into all of the areas, it´s still a good game though despite many flaws.
_After consulting the board of the team´s expectations_ : "Hi, i would like to introduce myself as the teams new manager. Lets aim for a place in the middle of the table this year". Player1: hurt Player2: insulted, hurt and furious. Player3: Red, smoking mad + totally confused and demoralized. OK, now over to the promises. I would like to strengthen our team´s forwards this year. (The whole team riots in anger and disappointment).
In the second option, even if you end up buying a player and they put a % of future fee, you can at any moment buy that % on the transfers tab when you see the ins and outs of the clauses. I know its better to take it of immediatly when you are doing negotiations but yeah, sometimes they cost like 1/2/3 million to purchase and then you can sell the player to get everysingle penny out of it.
my biggest mistake is thinking that in the most current version of the game that I can purchase, I wont somehow be a worse player than the year prior. I've accepted that the FM franchise is a frustration simulator on it's best day for me... yet I still buy it and log countless hours of aggravation :)
10:00 i see one player that´s really hurting here, aaaw, what could be wrong. Look at all of the tomato red faces, Cheick Doucouré. But what about the silhouette player faces still around in the game? I thought i would get rid of them when choosing to have them replaced in the settings and still they turn up? I don´t like those, it looks so anonymous.
I started a career with ajax, jurrien timber starts off 8-9 months injured, everytime he came close to coming back he was injured again for another few months, diddnt get to play him for 2 and a half seasons when the team was playing well, he then was adament he wanted to go to arsenal lol also i had a game where my goalkeeper and the sub both got injured in the same game, ended up losing 5 - 3 to a team i should of easily beat. I feel like the injuries are realistic football is full of things that are crazy.
How does the data centre help someone who doesn't understand soccer? I look in there and appreciate all the graphs but they give me no actionable information because I don't know what an inswing is or how it is relevant or what counters it. The game is easy and I'm riding back to back promotions but no thanks to the data centre.
ur 3 team leaders are my 3 fave players on fm this year, crazy coincidence. nagalo is an absolute beast on my nordsjaelland save and ouedraogo and tobiasz were so good for me at schalke
Hey. I got an issue with my Data Hub : i selected one of my staff member as responsible for it but he never gave me one Next Opponent Analyse during the entire season. I even changed my staff member to see if it changed anything, but nothing happened. What s the issue ?
hi jake just a quick text i am having a problem with my tactic i download them from fm scout and put them in my tactic folder but when i go on to my game and try to load them all i get is a massage saying ( this file could not be imported) hope you can help thank you m.
Okay, I would disagree that too many TI confuses the players because of the Tactical familiarity bar. There's something called scripting in FM since 23 and it still works in 24. It happens if you approach training as an extension of tactics rather than just a way to improve players (found the article on FMSCOUT by the way). The writer mentioned pattern of play a lot and to be fair, it does work and really works in FM 24. It's just like Ange Postecoglu said when asked about coaches saying they can't play their preferred style of play because they don't have the players. "Just do it mate" was he's response. It works in FM 24. It just takes time and the plus side of doing that is you get to know players that are in capable of playing the system. Like the writer of that article said "Good players mask terrible tactics but a great tactics elevate terrible players"
Something I don't understand is, (i'm new to the game btw) I have started around 5 or 6 saves and tried with different teams, tactics, and everything really, but I always get the same result. We play like we should the first 5-10 games, winning those we should and maybe pulling off a few upsets, and im usually kind of top of the table. But then randomly, like matchday 13, we face 15th place team and lose 4-1 out of nowhere. Why does this always happen and I can't be the only one this has happened to. It's not only for one game, if I continue the season, i can drop from 1st or 2nd in the league to be in the bottom 4 at the end of the season, even if I'm playing with a team that should comfortably take top 3. As said, this has happened like 5 or 6 times, and has just ruined everything for me and made me so pissed. Also, yes I have tried switching tactics, rotating the squad (injuries are also a huge problem for me) and specially preparing for the few games ahead.
Sounds like maybe you are playing a tactic that is to 'intensive' It would account for the fact that you start well at the beginning of a season before declining rapidly as players get fatigued and injured. I noticed this on my first few saves but now I'm playing a slightly less intensive tactic my results are amazing
New to this game and bought gaming laptop recently can anyone tell me does the skins work the same for laptop or what the best skin would roughly be ??
Good tips. But what about console players? How are we supposed to keep an eye on player happiness when we dont have access to that screen you pointed out?
I don't remove the % thing when I do transfers, instead my first offer will be with a 5% of profit from next transfer. Then when the team negotiates they'll usually go to 15%, but you can still knock it back down to 5%. 5% of profit is pretty easy to write off and it's unlikely to ever hurt you in the long run. Not sure if it means you have to pay more up front like you say you do when you remove it completely, but in my head you're never losing money.
Me neither it helps get players cheaper( the % of next sale does anyway not the profit one) Spurs wanted 30m for lo celso, with a 50% clause i got him for 14. He’s 28 so not gonna sell him for big money after 3-4 years anyway so the 16m saving is well worth it.
For your first save I recommend using whatever team you support in real life it makes it much easier to learn the game when you use a team you’re already familiar with
I'd go for a team that has a larger budget and better players than most of the other teams in the same league for and easy introduction. Dundee United in the Scottish Championship is a good example of this.

@@Veaseifythat’s life, I’d call that realistic.
Thank you so much for that trabsfer tip !
I so hated buying players with those clauses.
Was one of my biggest annoyances in the game!

That transfer one where you remove the profit clause is great advice. Gonna use that from now.

1 thing to avoid on the top lip ... that tash bro . Great video as always 👍
Me watching this 3hrs after I rage quit my last save with 7 wonderkids but 0 wins in 6😌

I'll just 'click' the like button, fed up with buying new monitors three times a day!

True, my GK got injured on the 1st minute and didn't bring any GK substitute 😂

I'm a new player on ps5, I'm sure things mentioned are greatly simplified or aren't intractable in the same way. Any work arounds?
Great info

I somehow upset the dynamics of the team by not registering a winger who wasn't influential at all on the Champion's League roster
Do you use WTCS skin? The latest version has a bug as the tactics screen is not green but grey. Is there a fix for that or u using a former version?
He is using the tato skin not the WTCS skin
New to this game and bought gaming laptop recently can anyone tell me does the skins work the same for laptop or what the best skin would roughly be ??
Most skins will also work for laptops. I am also playing on my notebook
Big up for this

GK on the bench? I am happy if I even can get players at all to sit on the bench. Its crazy!
Some good tips!
Love the helpful info
which skins does he use?
I've gotten into fm when fm24 came out and what are the best teams to use to learn that game that aren't like man city
Celtic 🍀💚
For your first save I recommend using whatever team you support in real life it makes it much easier to learn the game when you use a team you’re already familiar with
I'm cooking with Aston Villa, Barcelona if you want the best youth in the game, Leicester look easy to promote, or whoever you support IRL
I'd go for a team that has a larger budget and better players than most of the other teams in the same league for and easy introduction. Dundee United in the Scottish Championship is a good example of this.
Tip 2 Havent given percentages from future sales in years
Disregarding mentoring system for creating team cohesion.
I am happy leeds back to premier yeahhh
The mustache coming on strong bro
😂
Always have a sub keeper on the bench..... You just never know
My mistake was not playing FM earlier
Did you record this video in november, lol
W save 🦉
First mistake was playing as Wednesday UTFB
Good video, but RB Leipzig…srsly???
yes
