Softube is one of the developers I’ll still be using going forward, and this looks really good. I’ve been primarily using the SSL native bus comp as a mix bus comp, and I’m likely to get this one too. Ultimately though I’m getting a real world hardware SSL style bus comp. Softube bus sounds great especially with saturation and the spacial control. What bus compressor am I using? SSL G3. I've got a demo of the SSL Complete going now. Need to try the Bus. Great review as always.
@@maciejmironowicz2501 not sure what I used in this particular session because I use this session to demo a lot of plugins. So the chain that I use for the vocal plugin chain is always changing
Their Germanium is adding enormous amounts of subs which is not appropriate for a mix bus most of the time. That's also the main reason why I didn't buy the Germanium, otherwise it sounds awesome. I bought the Bus Processor though and love it

They don't specifically mention VCA but most if not all bus compressors modeling some type of SSL console bus compressor is a VCA
