Nah, I like this softube plugin a lot more. Better interface, less options, better sound. I don't like things that have too many options. This one from softube is perfect.
Do you know the latency? I am wondering if it's low enough to compose into from the start before even mixing like I do with Cytomic the Glue, but I think this one sounds even better which I didn't think would ever happen!
Big question I have is why would we need this when there is already the SSL Bus Compressor plugin (essentially the real deal) as well as dozens of emulations out there, and almost all cheaper than the Softube version.
Ssl native bus 2 is very good. But its the original code from their digital console. It doesn't sound like a g bus comp. It has zero boxtone and while its not and emulation but the real deal. But the real deal is a digital bus comp.
I think this one sounds better, and I love the interface. To me, nothing else is quite like it. Some are close, but I want the best. I think I bought this on sale for $89, so it was well worth it.
What everyone needs is Unisum from Tone Projects. It’s crazy good. Just amazing

Only 4 samples @ 48k (Pro Tools).
