Would you buy a Rolex Submariner or Omega Seamaster?
Rolex. Tried this omega, too big.
wish this all black was 42, but I love it
Would love that Ploprof now..
Most people watching watches videos on UA-cam would go for Omega. In real life, most would go for Rolex. The sales numbers are evident of this statement. Personally I'd go for a Submariner.
Rolex for me. I’ve kept my Sub but sold my Seamaster 300 within a few months. Even though it’s 43mm case is bigger than the Sub, the shape was just too slender for my liking and I felt that it looked smaller than my Sub. The novelty of that HEV wore off pretty quickly too. The watch is well made though, just not my cup of tea.
That looks so much cooler than a submariner
Agreed 😁
I already have 2 late model smp’s and this makes me want a third. Omega is killing it. Grest review... subbed.
Just bought this today! Absolutely an awesome unique look on the 300M. Thanks for ur video!
I can listen to you all day everyday
There's so much thought and ingenuity that went into this watch when you understand what you are looking at. You did a great job illustrating this.
Thank you!
Extremly cool iteration of a fully blacked out watch, not for everybody but one of the very best in this segment.
100%
Pretty cool dial, didn't expect to see this!
Yea, Omega is definitely trying out a lot of things.
great video! ☆
But Im curious what that watchwinder is called in the background? :o
i own a Seamaster and think it's a total Must Have. Love this one a lot and i'm actually thinking about it...
Agreed!
I so agree,! Absolutely badass! It’s sooo freaking cool!
Thanks!
Sub all the way, but these Seamaster do not disappoint
Waiting on that salmon dial no? :D
I've got the Seamaster in blue, love it. This version is also amazing. A ceramic case?! That's just mad, incredible.
Review👍👍
Nice!
Went to check it at the AD , they did an amazing job with the difference of tones and the watch is very clear to read. Definitely a piece to experience in person
Yea, it's pretty good in person!
I have the Seamaster in steel with the black rubber strap, but this looks really cool.
I buy this beauty 3 days ago here in bangkok because i want a ceramic and after tudor as i like too,i see this black black and i fall in love at the first look and now i m happy with this wonderful and comfortable luxury watch j adore.
Greetings from bangkok
Thak you
Might need to pick this up
Thank you for having one of the few videos on the Seamaster Black Black. On a related note, I am interested in the Orbit winder I saw in the background and there's not a lot of hand's on info on it from users. How do you like it?
My absolute pleasure. Love the watch and the winder!
I really love mine. The lume is pretty weak, but that can be expected since it’s black.
Yeah i love mine but like you said the lume is really weak you can’t see the time at night. If the lume was a bit more would of been perfect.
Great review video as always. Love the channel. I tried the watch and the legibility is a big issue. The ceramic material is scratch resistant but very fragile. I had an Omega ceramic watch broke on me at the lugs. I prefer the James Bond No Time to Die Seamaster over this one.
Thank you Allen!
Which model did you have? How did it break?
Did it break your heart too?
This along with the Constellation Annual Calendar are my favorite Omegas
Sick!
Love this Black Black Omega!
Glad you do !
Шикарный обзор, шикарные часы.
Словно из космоса, как кусок метеорита на руке.
so almost wonderful beautiful watch friend i love it
The Omega Seamaster Black Black looks like the watch of a man who would feel recoil and nothing else when shooting someone.
love it!
I love that blacked out omega! I really wish they made a matching steel bracelet for that watch. I love how they have that minute hand in green and the rest blue. Pretty unique. Thats one great leather jacket too hahaha
A bracelet would look badass indeed!
What is that rotating clock in the background ? ❤
I'd buy a Omega seamaster.hands down.im a huge fan of a legible dial but I can't help but love this watch
This one has that something special :D
@@SwissWatchGang agreed.it's the best looking "murdered out" watch I've seen
I think it looks cool!
Glad you like it Mike!
There is also the Speedmaster Black Black. Which one is cooler?
I prefer the Seamaster, but up to you
5:42 Can you explain to us exactly how helium gets into the watch case? Does it happen at recreational diving depths or is there some other very specific scenario which causes that to happen? And if helium can the watch, why can’t it get out without the escape valve. Is this helium gas present in the water? Does helium magically penetrate the Watch at a specific depth?
Its only for people who saturate dive for weeks on end really deep.
This is such a murder out Omega, i love it
Agree, totally badass!
Would u choose this Seamaster black black over the steel Seamaster black dial is it worth the price difference
Depends how many watches you have and if it's worth it to you than go for it. It's a great watch for sure but not as versatile as the black dial with normal steel
@@SwissWatchGang would be my first n only watch
@@jaronefarrell3047 Then probably the non-black But again, it's a personal choice, my opinion and life isn't yours so do some pros and cons and decide what fits you better. They're both great choices.
Not a big fan of the dial, but love the Seamaster line!
Thank god they have many versions :)
@@SwissWatchGang The Aqua Terra Worldtimer is one of my favourites!
The coolest watch in the world! Looks great on a black leather jacket!
Glad you think so too👌🏻
What about Omega dark side of the moon black on black?! It came before this…
so frustrating you can't get any black ceramic seamaster with a deployment clasp
Yeah
Most beautiful watch ever
Glad you like it that much!
Deberían hacer todos los relojes sin datario ,que bonitos son .
any idea why they use 8806 - no DATE? it would be nice to have a date on the watch
"So once the lights go out, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about." Classic!
haha
I believe hydrogen is smaller than helium but you dont need a hydrogen escape valve unless you pilot a zepplin. The all black profile is beneficial in that you can't see all the text on the dial. Just my .02
Thanks for the input!
This is the only luxury Swiss watch that, my wife likes lol
I am a big fan of Omega, but form should never trump function. When it comes to function, and the myriad ways you can define the term, a watch should be legible. I am all for unique designs and great aesthetics, but attention to the look of a watch should never supersede functionality. If Omega would just have made the indicators white, this would be perfect. In any case, thank you for featuring this bold addition to the Omega product line.
The first version of the seamaster ceramic has the white indices, so this is another take on a full blacked out watch. To me, it's fully legible under daylight, and the lume is excellent, so let's be honest, very little functionality has been left behind with this one.
If that was the case, everyone should be wearing plastic Casio solar watches. Come on now.
total bad boy
Diese Uhr sieht viel besser aus als eine Sub. Rein vom Gefallen her, definitiv diese.
Nice!
I'll wait for the Rolex. Great presentation!
Can't go wrong with either, thanks for watching!
I just wish they make a version without that useless Helium valve, 99% of the people that will own this watch will never dive with it, and even if they do, they won't need a helium valve.
I really like the watch, and I would take any version of it, if they didn't have that valve.
I wouldn't mind if they made one without.
Kind of stupid that it's threaded.
Then it wouldn’t be a seamaster
I just don't get it myself. Only other blacked out watch that springs to mind is the Hamilton Below zero (in films Tennet and The Martian) - to me legibility is paramount (in my 50s so eyes rapidly deteriorating)
I'd chose Omega over a Rolex, prefer the brand image and their watches style...a SM300 (the retro one) or the Railmaster is my target 😉👍🏻👍🏻
Well this is definitely one of the watches in the collection for that special occassion. :)
My fear is that I crack the ceramic case. 😵💫
Prices are going up.
haha no no, it's Omega, should have good stock I hope :)
@@SwissWatchGang I meant that so many watch brands are increasing their retail prices, they launch new models at a hire price. Seiko, Omega, Tudor, Oris, ...
Actually a plastic box that simulates wood.
I checked this out this week and I don't see the point at all...way better options within the Seamaster 300M lineup.
Sea Master > Rolex
To me it appears to me as a G-Shock not that god looking.
I will wait for the Rolex
A sigma male watch
Ya it’s stupid it seems like its very difficult to read?!?! 🤦🏻♂️
Look cool but doesn't wear right for me.
Fits my wrist fine but it has to suit you :)
