I buy this marvellous beauty 3 days ago and all in this watch is amazing, the dial, the case ,the case back, the rubber, the ceramic pin buckle i am totaly in love with luxury watch Greetings from bangkok
Conversation starter for sure. Mysterious, rakish timepiece. Expensive. Love the ceramic, the textures, and the fact that it is black on black AND still quite legible.
Omega quality options for everyone and availability in the “I want it now world” Not sure how Rolex can be the leader in the next 30 years due to restraining supply and silly waitlist and hype it will be interesting to see.
As a fan of blacked out watches (Although I completely agree with the comments about the Black Black DSOTM Speedy) I absolutely love the look of this & I would love one😎
Agreed - what are Omega thinking ? They can take this market with a better dimensioned watch (see massive impact of BB58) and drop the HEV, hands, better bracelet etc and you have the market for a diver. It's like they don't want the leadership
@@FratelloMagazine hi RJ. how long did you have to expose the watch to light for the lume to glow? I recently gotten a piece and I’m quite disappointed as the lume is not very bright and it takes a very long time even with direct exposure to the sun to even charge up the lume.
@@darius1104 I just purchased this piece and also find the lume not to last very long. It charges up throughout the day with UV light but the strength seems to fade as night approaches. It starts of quite strong but it fades quickly and is only really visible with absolutely no light. Not sure if the regular ceramic and titanium version is similar... was thinking of changing to that version. Thanks.
Is it really very legible? Also is the rubber strap very good quality, will it last for many year? Is the buckle ceramic as well? What do you think about the quality of the strap/buckle?
Yes, it is definitely legible due to the different finishing and materials. The rubber strap is the one they have been using for a while now, and I haven’t seen complaints there. Buckle is ceramic as well. There’s nothing wrong with the quality of both, it fits a 8K CHF watch. What I find important are comfort (and it is) and durability.
@@FratelloMagazine thanks for your fast reply. I think I will go for it as I’ve been looking for a black watch for a while now. I recently bought your limited edition bronze/red dial Oris big crown collaboration. It’s very nice! +1 subscriber ☝️👍🏼
I love this . Omega really giving Rolex a kick with regards to bringing exciting new products to market . It’s certainly a watch I am interested in . Will have to see it in the metal to check legibility. Keenly priced too .. well done omega ..
@@Anonymouslyme1 you may as well rename Tudor Black Bay because that is all they got. Just endless versions of the same watch. Tudor are just Walmart Submariner.
The crystal is thicc especially the front and the back one to compensate the 300m water resistance. Rolex is thinner as it has solid back and used+surrounded with Faraday cage to compensate the magnetism which eventhough rolex put a display back it'll be blocked by the cage, while omega's movement itself got anti-magnetic properties in which they could put the crystal back instead of solid back like most of the diver watch does.
Dimensions are poor again but it's a cool looking watch. If Omega just listened and fix the obvious and polarising issues with the SMP 300 then it could become the default diver - and I don't know why they don't ? arrogance, apathy - who knows
They are not the same quality... are they master chronometer certified? Are they anti-magnetic up to 15,000 gauss? And when it comes to brand recognition, Omega is far more well known that those other two
I wish these videos would show the watch not these people’s faces. We don’t want or need to see your faces, just the watch. Take a cue from IDguy, Watchfinder Co or Hafiz. They know how to make videos.
Absolute need for ceramic bracelet. It would further kick Rolex ass, which stays outdated, overhyped, overpriced and almost perfectly copied in China nowadays.

Totally agree, congratulations! All the best from the Fratello team here in NL :)
I wish I also would receive a box full of watches by Omega!

Wow, this timepiece is absolutely incredible. I also want to praise Omega's own product video on their channel, whoever made it is a genius..
Got the standard black smp. This makes me want to add another one to my collection. Outstanding.
Love it. Now looking at my collection to see which one to sell... 🤦🏻♂️
Just traded my standard color amp 43.5 ceramic for this . I can’t wait

So glad you had both of you there. Lots of contribution from the both of you 🙄
Every time I think I am going to like a new watch they then reveal the size and thickness and it puts me right off!

Best one yet!!!
Boom!
It is so limited and I got mine at last, loving my new Omega. Next target Ultra Deep (probably in a couple years) hahahaha
Great looking watch!
It´s badass, no doubt!
How’s the dark lume performing?
We’ve put a lume shot on our magazine. It performs really well
Looks cool, I question the legibility in lower light settings though
It is quite good, look up the article on our website. We have a lume shot there.

Have you done a separate video with your comments on the black black speedmaster?
Awesome, thanks for sharing
Very cute model. I appreciate the full black. Review soon :-)
This thing looks alien. Love the blue ss new seamaster 300 also.

I pass on this no my cup of tea. Ty for the short review and Omega needs to reduce a bit those cases.
OMG Omega!! WOW! just WOW! all that different finishing on the same material is phenomenal !
Is there a video where you review the Speedmaster Black Black?
It looks like an Android wear watch with screen off, but I’m going to get one anyway. Full black watch is cool enough.
Not the best legibility, so it's not for me, but it's for sure different and interesting.
Throw that dial and bezel on the stainless model and I'm all in.
Great Review AND a great Bracelet at your right arm - REF.?? please :-))
That’s a special for the America’s Cup 36th edition, I don’t think it is for sale.
@@FratelloMagazine ok, thanks - Omega ?

An amazing watch...if you don't need to see the time....
Why not show wristshots?
You can find them in our hands-on article on the magazine: www.fratellowatches.com

Nice so they copied the all black from Longines
Or the all-black Speedmaster from 2015?
@@FratelloMagazine true...but for the speed master with dark side of the moon makes sense.. here is what the dark deep ocean? still....love it!!!
No on wrist? Poor…
You should just try it at your local AD in this case. In more recent videos we put in more wrist shots.
Dreadful; illegible gimmick Come on!
