I’m a retired Plumber/ Heating engineer and did a lot of gas and oil boiler work, this is great for new guys coming into the trade, I started serving my time in 1970 and we had no internet or Mobil phones so we had to learn to fault find and get the fault part first time or you got a rollicking so keep up the good work I’m learning and I’m 68.
Im not even a plumber, and i love this. This is so informative, thank you Alan, thank you Roy. Excellent video. Learnt alot. Keep them coming. 👌👌👌👌👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I am new to this trade, and I feel incredibly blessed to have experienced engineers like you guiding us through this journey by utilizing UA-cam as well as the digital world
Oh no you did it again Allen. You're giving away too many trade secrets. Now everyone is gonna become a gas engineer and good ones at that. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!!! For explaining things in easy terms - body parts. Genius. I'm at Worster for a 3 day fault finding tomorrow, here get some learning before... You come up trumps again :)
Hi Allen, I'm taking my ACS exam on August. Can you recommend any center or someone in London I can get more knowledge to prepare me for the exam. Can you send me membership link please??
I’m doing my nvq 3 and gas in college soon to be qualified I hope , in the future I hope to go into breakdown and servicing 👌 I love watching these videos great knowledge and a great watch keep it up 👌
Hi Allen hart Thanks for uploading that pretty informative videos I have one problem the boiler giving hot water in the kitchen sink is 55 degrees but the just less than a meter away the hot water temperature is just 40 degrees So please advise what possible causes there Thanks
Thanks for a great in depth video, I’m new to this and trying to gain knowledge on boiler breakdowns, as luck would have it this video has helped me figure out potentially the problem with a boiler I am visiting tomorrow, boiler will not switch off on heating. Hope it is the thermistor. Really want to get on some boiler courses
Hello, you are giving very good technical information. I wish you would add the explanation feature with Turkish subtitles, I don't know English. I write this translation to Google as an English translation and send it to you. We would be very happy if you add Turkish subtitles to your videos.
If the thermister is saying the boiler is at 80 degrees couldn't you just get a temperature off the flow pipe or would it just be better to use the multimeter instead
Hi Blue Dwarf. Yes you could check the temperature of the flow pipe, however checking the resistance of the thermistor would prove the thermistor is faulty rather than the Pcb being the problem.
@@royfugler9971 Hi Roy, great tutorial. Minor thing, it's just that the sound was a little low. Maybe you could place the mic a little closer in the upcoming uploads. Thanks 👍
The training videos do not normally have any ads at all, This one has the ads on as a trial and its got more views than ever. Not sure if youtube show it more because they make money off the ads or not. Personally i do not see ads as a big issue when someone spends hours and hours doing videos. Thanks for the feedback though.
