Loved this one 👏👏👏 brilliant work Roy from viva and Allen 👍 Looking forward to future vids. Water / air / gas / electric…..didn’t know what wage was before this …..can’t earn a wage without using this format 👍
Once again another great video keep them coming its priceless m8 top men the pair of you should both be given a knighthood not forgetting mr ideal and the other chap .
Terrific video as always. Just a couple of questions, could you not have just changed the solenoid and my other question is when I change a gas valve on a Vokera I have to adjust the gas valve in high and low fire but not here? Thanks
Hi Michael, Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately the solenoid isn't available as a spare part, Worcester gas valve comes factory set, so just a case of checking to make sure it's within tolerance. Baxi use a similar SIT valve and they need adjusting the same as Vokera.
After replacing the gas valve you could tightness test and this would show you your inlet connection to valve is sealed and tight but this wouldn't work on the outlet as valve would be shut? Is that correct? If so is ldf the only way to check the outlet connection on gas valve?
Hi Alan, at last, Roy said he will do video on wiring unvented cylinder and s plan, is there video done for it, if there is can you please put me the link.
Could you do a video on how to wire up a regular (heat only) boiler with pump overrun when replacing an older boiler without pump overrun with a newer condensing boiler.
On a couple services for Worcester greenstar boilers, after I turn the gas off to check the flame failure device. An fo 238 internal error code comes on the boiler screen. To my understanding a new gas valve is required after some check, how can turning the gas off break the gas valve?
Back voltage on a Worcester who’d of thought it! 😂 Lovely job. What affects the air integrity test. Obviously seals ect but hear height can reduce the oxygen level Just to add I’m pretty good at my job but always looking for tips like any half decent engineer would be. I’m sure lots of experienced guys watch your stuff!
A blocked condensate trap backing up into the sump will cause resistance on the fan, which in turn cannot lift the valve seating and therefore no drop on the gauge. Never never assume without proper testing.
Great tip for gas valve fault finding!thanks Alan and Roy!looking forward for wiring fault finding. Thanks once again guys!
These videos are really handy, well worth watching
Great video Roy, thanks
Love these fault finding videos. Thank you 👌
Thank you Allen and Roy. Another accurate quality video❤
Great Video Guys. Keep them coming

Roy and Allan 👍👍
Thank you Sirs, both Roy and Allen, really helpful as always. 100%.
Great Alan and Roy. Great video, hope to be up with you guys this year for some top training.

Good information
Good stuff
My worcester bosch system boiler keeps dropping out ,it will, reboot using the manual dial control but what should I boiler engineer be checking

You guys are Gold, really useful information team 👍.
Hi Roy I've had a fault come up on my baxi compact 163 can't find what it is any idea's plz
Hello Roy, Excellent vid, where did you get those gas connection plugs on your hose, they look great?
Where did you guys get the solid P1 connector for your gas analyser please??
What is the extension called on your manometer
👏👏👏👏👏
👍
I'm sure just seen roy in whitby, wasn't sure, or would av bought u a few beers buddy.
Yes that was him 😀
What would you charge the customer for such a job in the real world?
Is no drop after ignition not enough reason to proof gas valve need replacing ? Or testing solenoid is crucial as well on this case ?
Not at all, you could have a faulty wiring harness and by assuming it’s the valve will make you look foolish.
@@kevincranfield5235 so basically testing by multimeter is just checking the harness too from PCB ?

baxi duo-tec still the best boiler.
