I got a special surprise in the mail from my friends at Audiocontrol! How epic is this? WOW! As you might know if you are a true basshead, the Epicenter is world famous and has been around a LONG LONG TIME. They just sold their 1,000,000th unit and to celebrate they made 5000 individually numbered limited edition Epicenters! Only ask cause you set your frequency first(first knob) then your sweep half way (2nd knob)

Will definitely need to set the subsonic filter. This unit will feed your subs the bass it needs especially if you made or have a tuned box tuned lowwww. I have a 32hz ported enclosure w/ X-12 v.3. The bass in the Old school rap never sounded soo good!! If you listen to old school you’re missing out. I was skeptical as well and finally pulled the trigger, soo glad I did. No more rebased songs from UA-cam. This sounds waaay better and cleaner!!

Making my corridos jam since 2003
It is a digital signal restoration device. When music is broadcast for radio, or is put into an mp3 file it gets compressed. This looks for digital artifacts in the bass end of the frequency and digitally re-creates them.
I have an old school LC2I in my car now and im getting a new Tacoma TRD Off-road so im going to retire that LC2I for a new LC2I Pro. Steve, thanks for reminding me! Audio Control is the best!

I also had an epicenter back in the 90s🤓. but i killed too many subs with it.🤯🤣🤣🤣... anyway... i sold the devil thing... i couldn't handle that weapon...🤪🤪🤪

Dude honestly anything skar is pretty good. I had a 1200w RMS amp powering 2 12"s and later got a 8000w RMS amp. I obviously can't turn it up all the way, but the 1200w amp definitely pushed as hard the subs allow. Getting the 8000w amp didn't change too much 😅
I really love my epicenter, it does wonders for 1980s Freestyle music such as Nu Shooz, Brenda K Starr, etc. Also great for some funk.

It was to my understanding that this unit does not increase output voltage , only re filter music that has been previously filtered .
I'm just trying to figure out , if I do need to reset gains , that's no problem . Just would like to know the procedure for that.

Have the basscube myself, different things of course. Always enjoyed having one in the system but unfortunately havent ever been able to d a back to back comparison with an epicenter.
I can't tell a difference no matter how I adjust it I am probably hooking it up wrong
Did you pull the knob?
Make sure your low pass filter is disabled or set up to the highest above 120hz or higher before the rca input. Set the amp’s sub crossover starting around 80hz. The epicenter uses the higher frequency sounds to process/restore the lower bass frequencies so if you feed it a crossed over signal it has no/limited higher octave frequencies to create the low fundamental earth shattering notes from. It doesn’t create some from nothing but rather creates lows from highs.
