Co2 is not nor has it ever caused the climate to change.
Earth is a 4.5 Billion year old closed loop that self regulates CO2 with life by combining CO2 2with H2O to capture the EM energy of the galaxy via the Sun and create life.
Temp is rising first and CO2 follows as the Arctic thaws. Cause and effect.
Energy is neither created nor destroyed. On this planet. All EM energy comes from and or returns to the Double Torus Magnet that is the galactic Nucleus/Bulge.
What came first the continental glaciers or the global east to west cataclysmic tidal waves that washed over the continents and froze into the continental glaciers lowering sea levels?
Every 12,000 years half the Great Year our solar system eclipses crosses over our galaxies magnetic plane Milky Way causing the END TIMES with EMP pillars of Fire & Brimstone, Oort cloud comet impacts and global east to west Deluge. Now for the next 1,000 years. Watch for the conjunction of the planets with the beginning of the END conjunction coming in 2033 and every 40 years there after.
Covid like CO2 is a comfortable LIE built upon yet another inconvenient truth.
The Baby Boomers who were born en mass 76 years ago are starting to die en mass from the usual suspects of seasonal FLu which leads to Pneumonia and old age.
The MASK of the BEAST to Buy or Sell is a pretext for the depopulation heavy metal vaccine + 5G FINAL SOLUTION before the Great Year Resets the planet.
It takes 10 years to develop a vaccine. IF and only IF you can isolate the virus which they can't because the influenza virus changes every season.
Don't let the Evil ones Divide and Conquer you along race, creed and religious lines like they did in the 3 genocide peace keeping tours I did.
Jesus loved all races because there is only one race, the HUMAN race with only one minority the INDIVIDUAL human.
"For what does it benefit HUMANITY to gain the whole world after the Great Year Resets it but lose it's soul?"

Those who grow and trap have a skill that lasts. I don't think the majority knows how to hunt or trap. Though that all depends whether it an urban, suburban, or rural environment. Also location season play a factor if shit hit's the fan. However, you are right, it doesn't hurt to stock up on food. Im liking it. I hate to say this is me at 48, and im just approaching this. Im just about a year in and im just grasping the inconvenient camping stage. I think of the wasted time in the Sequoia national forest and on the kern river as a young man. But in a year ive been a sponge. So im getting there. Trying to bring the kids along on this journey.

This was very informative and helpful. I'm glad I could hear your teaching even though I'm in Oregon state. Thanks for your time.
But on one quick note, I live in Oregon in a area that gets 220 days of rain per year average (Not including the recent drought). So plants to me are very important because we have a vast amount of species in my area. Most medicinal and edible, but I do agree that they are a two-three season resource, I still think they are important for me to learn about along with local trees that are a year around resource.
    Thanks again for your teaching.

Dave, I’m interested in participating in a survival course, my challenge is I use a wheelchair. My hunting chairs are self designed all terrain wheelchairs, moreover I’m a highly educated in the medical field. I practice my outdoor skills until I’m proficient and can hunt with recurve bow and practice bush-crafting consistently. I’ve successfully done independent, individual hunts and camps for two weeks. What else would you recommend? I might add I’m a low level spinal cord injury and very fit!

How does one become an instructor or apprentice at your school? I am a carpenter and consider myself a jack of all trades, excluding blacksmithing, and a few others i am sure. I like your mentality as far as "prepping" goes. People who are preppers just like buying gear, its all about the gear. I am a gear guy too, but I like flea market gear, and gear i make myself. Thanks for the knowledge you share on a daily basis. all the best

dave is right on the prepping part. bow drill fires aren't really that useful when you are preparing for the worst case. you can almost always have your lighter with you, your firestones etc.
but for alot of bushcrafters it's not about preparing. it's about beeing able to go wherever you want with as little gear as possible. it's not preparing for the worst, because i dont believe in those worst case scenarios. it's about fun, independence, and self reliance.
besides that, i really love his performance. i'm no prepper, i'll never be. but it's still very interesting how you could do things without our modern technology, how things have been done for hundreds of years before.

Preparing should be an all the time thing. Not just for some great event. Hard times come to all of us. Weather emergencies, job loss, health problems etc. Just having food canned or prepared for the winter is a smart idea. It is what our parents or grandparents did. And as a child we had a large garden and we dried or canned much of it. It was just what you had to do to live. Learning skills is just as important or even more than having a bunch of suff stored. How to fix needed items, make things you will need, grow your own food and learn wild foods you can eat and use medically.
