We use the Day Owl pouch for our EDC kit (a flipper, multitool, flashlight& battery bank etc) or customised medical/first aid kit etc. Basically unlimited use for urban & bushcraft kit. Cowabunga as always mate. Sup Taav.!?
Love your reviews. So upbeat, informative, and has bit of hipster vibe to it lol I just purchased the nocturnal Day Owl Slim Backpack and the yellow cord pouch and this video was the selling point. You can only get so much from a picture or short preview clip on the site, but your in-depth reviews are essential to consumers like me. Liked and subscribed 👍👍
Damn John thanks so much for the kind words and I’m so stoked that the review was useful! I’d love to hear your thoughts on the bag once you get it - keep me posted :)
Nice... it's got that vintage vibe to it. I personally use the Mission Workshop Archiv Tech Pouch. I can slide it on the rails of my MW Radian, toss it in my daily carry, or have it 'splayed on my desk with my favorite bits of gear. Excellent construction, weather resistant, made in USA, and Dark Multicam of course :) I keep only two cables among my bobbles: Nomad universal cables... one short and one long both with all the adapters I need right at the ends and they are practically military spec indestructible.
I like the alternatives at the end. If you don't buy this, buy this other stuff instead. Also enjoyed you showing what you can fit within the pouch. For me I just buy the Hershel dopp bags. They are pretty big and have a few sperate pockets in them. Cheap too.
Thanks for the feedback Kevin! It's funny, I've reviewed over 100 backpacks and gear at this point but never anything from Hershcel - coming soon hopefully!

Love this lil pouch and its big bro backpack (the slim one), too. Thanks for yet another outstanding review guys.
Cheers Nathan! Day Owl rarely lets us down with any of their products :)

@@Nomads.Nation You got it man! I can't say HK is on my radar, but if that changes I'll let you know. Sounds fun.
