This is my absolute favorite backpack. Since purchasing mine a couple of years ago I’ve gotten rid of all my other bags. I know you think it’s a con, but my favorite part is the adjustment of the straps. I now refuse to buy another backpack with dangling straps.
I just got the slim in olive & love it for an EDC or if traveling w/ a small roller carryon! I also ordered the large size & found it to not be very comfortable since it is larger, but doesn’t have much comfort going on
The slim is soooo great!! Yes I agree there's not much support for comfort with the larger bag so I tend to not over pack it out since I know it's not the most comfortable.
@@GearfortheGirls Have you by chance tried the Aer x Ministry of Supply Lunar pack? I ordered this one recently to check out (was between this & the City Pack Pro, but liked that the Lunar pack has a hidden water bottle pocket & looked slightly smaller depth wise), and didn't find it super comfortable when packed out, felt like since the back was stiff, it dug into my lower back a little bit. But I am curious if the City Pack Pro might fit a little differently.
I have not tried that pack, I'll add it to the list and let you know what I think about it! The City Pack Pro gave me no problem with comfort! Hopefully it'll be a better fit for you
i have gone through all the videos and i still can't find THE ONE. you see i am working in an office, not too formal neither too casual wearing dress pants and sneakers everyday. i am petite (5'2) and i bring my laptop everyday (13"), tech and makeup pouch. at the moment i am using the Fjallraven totepack no.1 but i still find it too narrow to dig in and the material gets dirty too easy. however, i don't like a big backpack like i am going on a hike everyday but the smaller dayowl is too narrow and small but the 20L is too big. i don't know, maybe there is still something out there, just have to wait but i am getting sick and tired of my totepack no.1.
Hmm have you looked into the Bellroy Tokyo Totepack? It has great style and looks good on a more petite frame..or another smaller nicer bag with a different style is Alpaka Elements Backpack Pro, that has really nice materials and won't get dirty quickly. Let me know if that helped and if you have any more questions!
@@GearfortheGirls the bellroy looks almost exactly like my fjallraven totepack no 1, too narrow to get in, the alpaka element is almost on point but i am going to buy that for travel, not for everyday office

Thank you!! Your support means so much 😍

It's an awesome bag! And don't get me wrong I absolutely love the no dangle system, I just wish I could tighten the bag a bit more!

Who knew the comedy runs in the family 😊
Make sure you let Aaron know that ;)

@@GearfortheGirls I am curious what backpack 30 liters or less you think is THE most comfortable to wear for a longer period? 🙃
Honestly for most comfortable I think I'd go with the Aer City Pack Pro...for a longer wear. It just has the best padding in my opinion!

Very helpful, Thanks. but I'm still confused, between this and tropic feel nest. Having a separate laptop compartment is a must for me.
I have never tried out their gear I'd be curious to know how it is..but I will say Day Owl doesn't have the mosttttt protective laptop compartment
In the alternatives b-roll what’s the light grey bag with pink(?) straps ?
The northface women's recon! Review coming soon ;)

Well I will be on the hunt for some different work bags and putting out more reviews to help you find the best one!
how does the fabric do with attracting pet hair and lint?
I wouldn't say it's a total lint magnet, but it will attract it. its a wax canvas
hi! does this have a false bottom in the laptop section?
I wouldn't say so, not a super protective laptop compartment
@@GearfortheGirls thank you!!
"super eco friendly" puts plastic water bottle into bottle holder. You couldn't even splurge for a reusable?/J
I actually do use a reusable in the video. But I am loving your passion to reduce plastic use!!
